I went to ask for an eta and was told we were waiting on a server to clock in at 5pm. Some minutes later we received a notification saying our table was ready. We approached the counter just to be told numerous times that they would seat us shortly (server hadn't arrived.) I asked why notify if seating isn't possible? We have 6 antsy kids ready to eat. Some lady comes out of the back talking loud and clapping saying she sent the text to ensure the whole family was there and that we didn't need to address a minor with our concerns. read more

My partner and I even stacked them up and kept inching them closer to the end of the table for the server to hopefully get the hint and grab the off the table, but she ignored them the entire time and we had to ask for our drink to be refilled after waiting for a new one for about 15 minutes. read more

I was concerned on my first visit to this particular Texas Roadhouse. The last TR I went to was in Knox and was not good at all. Bad quality meat, overly salty, and overcooked. This was thankfully not the case here! Both mine and my husband's steak were perfect and amazing as was everything else served to us. Our waitress was amazing and attentive. This place was absolutely slammed but we did not have a longer wait than usual. Great service, great food, just wish the smaller tables were larger. Very satisfied. read more

We went to this restaurant tonight in spite of only having 3.5 stars because it's .2 mi from our hotel. Then we both had the audacity to order salmon at a roadhouse. It was fantastic!!!! The chili was also great! Kim was our server and she couldn't have been better. She was so busy but every time that she walked by our table I could see her scanning it for what we might need. Such a fun surprise, this place made our long day on the road a complete success. Thanks Kim & crew! read more

We have been here 2 other times and had good experiences, but today wasn't great. We were sat at 9:35 pm and ordered about 10 mins after being sat. Our food didn't come out until it was about 10:35-40 and my nephews steak had a hair in it, my boyfriends steak was over cooked and my sisters mashed potatoes were cold. I got my food to go because I was so ready to leave at this point I wanted to just eat it at home. Our server kept checking in on us and was great. They weren't that busy, so I'm not sure what could hold up 2 steaks, a piece of fried chicken and some sides for an hour. They also started playing a closing time song before we had even received our food and that was annoying honestly. read more

I will start by saying that we come to this Texas Roadhouse almost every Friday night since it opened, and have never had a bad experience. But, this past Sunday we did a curbside to go order and I will never do that again. Even with all the okay or good experiences this still warrants a one star review. I ordered at 9pm while still at my house. Drove there and checked in and STILL waited 45 minutes in my car. When they brought the food out I only had one entree and two salads. I went in and ask for my kids meal and my other entree. The manager brings them right up as they were already ready or something. Yes, they were freezing cold. It was now 10pm and closing time so I did not ask for anything to be remade or anything like that, but what was interesting is the manager didn't offer anything either... Didn't even offer to put it in a bag when I already had other items in my hands. I get home and there's no bacon for my salad or my loaded baked potato. Both of which were paid upgrades. My chicken was burnt, and my kids meal cheeseburgers were so hard my daughter couldn't bite into them. Steak was also medium at best and ordered well done. Just all around bad. Like something wrong with every single item. To make it worse, I left a voicemail for the manager yesterday and never received a call back which is why I am now writing a review. read more

The food and atmosphere were both great. All of the staff members that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and they provided a family restroom as well. This place just keeps going downhill. The ribs were tough as nails and burnt really bad. Couldn't eat them. Asked for extra dressing and got maybe an extra teaspoon of it. One roll for each dinner...really?? :( Salmon tasted like dried out leather. One of the worst meals ever from here. I keep thinking they are just having an off night, but this is like the 3rd time it's been really bad. I'm done and we won't be back. The employees here are really nice. But whoever is cooking the food or overseeing it, needs to be retrained. The food is NOT good here. A waste of $60. Won't spend another penny here ever. read more

Wow. I worked at a different Texas Roadhouse for 8 months and I was SHOCKED by our experience here. So this place is brand new and all of their employees should be trained to TRH Standards. Ha. Our server was sweet at first but damn. No offer to refresh our drinks, no offer to re-make/re-cook an overcooked steak, and no offer of to-go drinks or a bag for our boxes. All 3 of those are considered standard TRH customer service minimum just FYI. When we mentioned that one our steaks was overcooked (the other was undercooked) our server responded with "maybe the cooks are conspiring against you" - excuse me? I could understand if we were rude customers or had been there before and not tipped. But we're 20% tippers and always kind to the staff- especially since I work in restaurant myself. Not even an offer to refill a beer. That's a guaranteed 25% tip! Now we're home and both sick. Nice one TRH! If we had been a secret shopper... This is the second time attempting to have dinner from this restaurant. The first time was within the first month of the opening of the location. My family gathered to eat here and the five of us ordered our food with no major changes to the food. Four of us received our food with no issues, but my brother-in-law did not receive his cheeseburger. Five minutes later his burger came out, very very undercooked as in almost raw. After sending it back for proper cooking it finally arrived as we were finishing our meals. The burger was still undercooked but not raw any longer. We had that meal taken off the bill and had not been back since. Today we decided to try it again as we had received a gift card from my sister for my birthday. Ordered the food online via the website. the site claimed the food was to have been ready for pick up at 6:30pm. My wife arrived to pick up the food and had to wait for it to finish up. That is understandable, what is not understandable is the fact that OUR FOOD WAS GIVEN TO ANOTHER PICKUP. They then had to remake the entire order, and due to this issue part of our order had to be changed to something else as they now did not have what we requested in the order. The entire process took ninety minutes from order start to receiving the food and leaving the restaurant. This confirms that we will NEVER return to this location ever again. read more

I did call ahead seating for 14 for a birthday dinner, and actually CALLED the restaurant and did not use the app. We waited 40 minutes past our arrival time to be told they could not handle a party of 14! No one mentioned this when I called and did the call ahead reservation, nor did they mention it in the 40 minutes we waited! Instead of being seated together we were split up into 3 tables. Worst experience i've ever had at a texas roadhouse in my life. One, the hostess was rude and stood there talking to the younger boy who took people to tables for 5 mins while i waited to be put on the wait list. Two, we were estimated a wait time of 45 mins but waited in our car for a hour & twenty mins. No big deal, just slightly annoyed. Three, once we finally got the text to come in. We were greeted with the same bad attitude hostess who ignored us again. She finally looked up asked for our name and said to stand at number three. She seat there talking once again. Finally the manager walked up and she looked up quickly at us asked for our name again and sat us immediately. Once we seat down everything was smooth sealing up until my boyfriends food came out before mine, they told me they didn't want his to "get cold" before mine came out. It was ice cold anyways. It took 25 mins before my food came out. Fries were disgusting & chicken tenders were small. All in all it was a bad experience. We've ordered "to go" 3 times in the last 6 week. We should've stopped after the 1st visit. The food has been late each time. There's always something missing and on our last visit we requested A1 sauce. A simple request. The young lady was gracious and returned with sauce. The problem is that it wasn't A1 but something else. My wife went in to the main service area to request it. The hostess was a young and rude young "woman". She didn't want to help. A young male employee asked her to go get the manager or check for A1. The young woman rolled her eyes, disappeared for a few seconds to say "we don't have that". My wife decided it wasn't worth it but we will NEVER go back. Texas Roadhouse has lost an 18x a year customer. This was on November 10th at 4:30pm. read more

I have eaten at allot of Texas Roadhouses across the country of travel. But this one was probably the greatest experiences I have ever had. Jack was our server and he was a veteran and probably one of the greatest servers I have ever had. He went above and beyond to make sure we had every thing that we needed. Our drinks never ran empty, he took great care of my grandson who is 3 by talking to him, and making him feel special, and was comfortable. it was my sons birthday today and my grandson gets nervous really bad when they do the Happy Birthday ordeal. but today they did it at a couple tables and he didn't get upset and cry and want to leave the food was the best I have had in a very long time, this restaurant had it together, I look at your board out fro front waiting to be seated and saw your health department inspection score and was very impressed. not many score 100% a very hard score to revive. great job Roadhouse keep up the great work. I will definitely be back again to eat at this location. read more

Food was terrible and waiter sucked. They brought cold steaks and the fries we got were burnt and you could tell they microwaved it due to the hard cheese. Could not get a refill on any of our drinks. At the end when we were done the waiter didn't have a care in the world and he was very rude and disrespectful. He didn't even bring us a check we had to ask for it to make sure we weren't charged for the wrong things and when asked he made a big fuss and made rude gestures. Very highly do not recommend this Texas Roadhouse has to be the worst one I've been to. If you receive a long haired waiter with a beard highly suggest you ask for another. read more

The new location opened a week ago on March 28th and we visited on April 1st. I understand growing pains and getting up and running so that was taken into consideration prior to writing this. I have been going to Texas Roadhouse locations for years, long before they arrived to the Knoxville TN area. So I am well familiar with their protocols, precedures, and what to expect from a location. I knew when covid arrived business models would change some for the better and some for the worse. Unfortunately this starts the poor impression to this new location. They now do not provide an indoor waiting area and after registering with the hostess we were rudely and bluntly told go to your car and wait please, you cant stand inside. Our vehicle was parked very far from the actual entrance as this is a new spot and was extremely packed. I am also disabled so this was not really what I wanted to hear. The way it was said to us was very rude and I didnt appreciate her tone, so I inquired as to why? She said thats just the way it is if you want you can sit on the benches outside if your car is inconvenient. It just so happens we were having extreme winds and brisk conditions in the 40-60 mph range at that time. I wasnt happy at all with this whole mess and was ready to leave when my wife begged me to calm down and wait outside. We were told 5-15 minute wait so I reluctantly agreed. 45 mins later we wre called and at this point I was just pissed off and over all of this. While waiting we witnessed 30-40 people walk off and leave commenting on how BS this situation was and how they waited excessive times after being told or quoted a much lesser wait. This is absolutely no exaggeration and may even be undercounting the situation. After being called inside we were then told to line up on a wall (like we were children in grade school) and waited another 5 minutes to be seated. The waitress was awesome (Lilly) and she seen I was obviously pissed and inquired what was wrong. I informed her what took place for the last hour and she offered to send a Manager over to which I thanked her. After manger comes over we are told the hostess was a corporate person and she is training sorry for the poor experience but she has control in that area. That was not a graet response then every excuse was made of why the things were they were and I was more or less told changes are hard and if you dont just make customers conform by any means then customers wont learn. While I understand stupidity runs freely these days we are not children in grade school that deserve to be talked down to. So zero regret or resolve from the staff in charge. We continued on with our meal due to my wifes persistance. The meal was great arrived fairly quickly and our waitress was super great and professional she made a very poor experience a little more tolerable and I have zero complaints on her or the food. Ive waited a few days to calm down and write this so that I can think it through and not just explode on here. I am still highly pissed off and have zero interest in returning to this location which is 2 miles from door and would have been super close and convienent. I will continue to drive across town to the other locations that know my wife and I well and are treated respectfully and have loved every visit over the last 10-12 years. If these locations go to treating customers in the same fashion or use the same business model we will sadly discontinue our patronage at all locations. I may in several months attempt a re-visit to see if attitudes mellow but the fact the physical wait and seating will not, it more than likely deter me from this location. read more
