    The food was just OK nothing to write home about. The brisket was dry and didn't have much flavor to it other than drenching it with barbecue sauce. The service was really good and the ambience was quiet for a Sunday.

    I've been here several times for bbq (always great) but this was my first time trying Burger Friday. Our sever was awesome. I had the vegetarian Smoked Red Bean Burger... so, so, so, so good. No wonder it's the most expensive burger on the burger menu. I'm getting it again next time. I also had cowboy something vanilla brown ale. Loved it. Sweet P's never disappoints but today was my favorite. I can't wait to get back for another Burger Friday and that smoked red bean burger!

    Not a bad spot for barbecue in Knoxville! Staff was super friendly, and the place is really cool and in a great location! The highlights were the sides and the ribs. I made judge a little too hard on brisket being from Texas... lol! Definitely worth a comeback!

    This barbecue place is pretty good. They've got great meat but the only thing that I didn't like as much as the sauce, but that's just my preference. I'm gonna still give this a five star

    This is a new barbecue restaurant in Fountain City. There is also a location Downtown. My husband and I shared the dish. We thought the portions would be bigger for the price, but it was just enough for us to get full. The food was good and my faves were the ribs and the mac & cheese. If you like a good cocktail or beer with your barbecue, this place is for you. Other barbecue restaurants in the area don't serve alcohol.

    Cute place with a nice bar area and atmosphere. Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The parking lot is a little odd shaped, but luckily we were able to find a spot. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and approachable. I had the dry rub wings (6), very good flavor! I did two sides - Lima beans - which I normally love but these were definitely out of a can and left didn't not meet my expectations. The Mac and Cheese had good flavor and texture (not overdone). My husband had the ribs which were a dry rub as well. They are not baby back ribs so you definitely had a different quality. They were very tender and good flavor, you did need their bbq sauce on them, just a lot of gristle. Coleslaw was good. Beets were reasonably priced, we walked out paying around $65+ tip for all of it. Overall good flavors will try them again and something else on the menu.

    Disappointed that me and my wife ordered brisket plate for $18.00 each and you get two slices of brisket that barely weighs an ounce. We will not be back for that reason. I feel thats outrageously priced to to thin pieces The food is good and service is great but pricey

    Have had better bbq at fast food bbq joints. We won't be back. Service was okay. Pricing a bit high for what you get.

Next for food I ordered the farmhouse burger (Cheddar + Over Easy Egg + Applewood Bacon + Tomato + Onion + Garlic Aioli) and upgraded the fries to the duck fat fries (Rendered Duck Fat + Grated Parmesan + Scallions + Garlic Aioli). The burger and fries tasted great and had a nice balance of flavors. I highly recommend stopping by stock & barrel if you are ever in Knoxville.

The rub is okay, but when a brisket is this dry it's just not worth eating. The other meats are okay. The pork is probably the best thing, and it's just good not great. The ribs were okay too. The sides are about the only reason this has two stars instead of one. The mac and cheese is tasty and well made. The beans are good. Look, I don't write any reviews less than three stars and few less than four stars unless I have visited a place multiple times. Any place can have an off day, and I hate giving lower reviews to small businesses. But this is just NOT good BBQ. And, yes, I know a bit about BBQ, with deep roots in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, and Italy. I've cooked many briskets. Many. With wood. Cooked many pork butts and ribs. Tons. I wanted to taste each item they have separately, but it was challenging being piled together. But that is what I get for picking the popular item and not what I think I would enjoy more. Gomer was $12. I see the cost has gone from $10, then $11 and now $12. I would not be willing to pay more than $12 but I understand the cost of food has gone up. Curious why the nacho is $16. If I understand correctly it is just the gomer with chips and cheese. I don't think that is worth $4 more. Maybe the quantity is more too??? Overall, I am happy with my first trip to Lloyd's and looking forward to pork belly bites in my future.
