We were there on a weekday afternoon. Did not know about a early bird special. 6 oz sirloin + 2 sides for $10.99. Of course the rolls were hot and fresh. One side was a salad super cold and crunchy. Second side were steak fries. Hot and good! Yeungiling beer was great. The waiter was spot on. There when you needed him. Gone when you were eating. If you don't mind the noise and the occasional dancing/singing by the staff, you get a great value with the early bird. We are seniors and can't eat a big steak, so this was perfect for us. 9 out of 10 overall. One point off for the racket. read more

My daughter ordered a medium steak, the grill was obviously too hot and the outside was charred and burnt. The steak was sent back and after 30 minutes of waiting and constant asking different wait staff where the steak was, we kept being told it would be out in a few minutes. We also asked numerous times for a manager. After 45 minutes of waiting for the replaced steak we were told that once food is sent back only a manager could bring the food back out, which we were also told the steak waiting on a manager that whole time, we finally asked for my daughter order to be taken off and forget it. I had an excellent waitress name Raina she handled all my instructions totally correct which was quite impressive. I am not the easiest customer on the Block but they were awesome. This is the busiest restaurant in Salisbury so be prepared to wait. I think this Yelp app is very good to shorten your wait times but don't expect miracles. I think because they are finally found the secret to giving you the wow factor here this place is going to be busy quite a bit. I think they are working harder on their prime time which is 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. I think that is the period which makes or breaks restaurants. I asked a few times to manager if we could go ahead and sit down and she said it was their policy. Didn't even sit us together, put us in separate cramped tables. Good service once you have to wait the time period to get in there. This last time we went to the one in Salisbury, NC. That is if you are willing to wait that long. The food was okay. It is never consistent every time I go in there but it was good. My steak was overcooked, but I never send nothing back, regardless of how it is. I just eat it and go on with it. Every time we have come the experience has gotten a little worse until today it has now become unbearable. Main food came out before our salads or our appetizer ever showed up. Food was incorrect when it did come out. No sign of management to help lead the team to help prevent or at least rectify these mistakes when they did happen. There is clearly a lack of multiple important aspects of running a successful Texas Roadhouse here because our experiences at TRH throughout NE Ohio were A+. Out of multiple items. Service was very slow. Manager only visible when addressing an issue with a nearby table who had been seated well before us and received food long after us. Managers are usually highly visible in this location, as it should be. Servers and customers alike notice when a manager is not only visible but "present". By using their powers of observation, they can drastically reduce comps and customer issues by heading off problems as soon as they occur. Server was training new server and seemed far more focused on training than customer service. More than once, had to get the attention of server vs checking in on customer. Please teach servers to use powers of observation and anticipate customer needs. At a steak restaurant it is important to check back quickly when food is delivered to verify correct temperature and all items were served. (This also decreases comps) NEVER forget to give a customer an itemized receipt when running a credit card. I paid for A meal, but have no way of proving it was mine. read more

The food is good, the service is good and the music is obnoxious! It's fairly loud normally you sometimes can't hear the person sitting across from you. But the noise level escalates to such a volume the room vibrates and the servers do their line dance throughout the restaurant for 5 or more minutes. This was done twice in the hour or so we were there. They should hand out hearing protection especially for infants and small children. People with hearing aids also. The servers can dance all they want the music doesn't need to be a billion decibels. If you complain about the volume you are blown off by management. It's company tradition blah blah blah. Interesting that the founder who supposedly started this tradition committed suicide due to awful ear ringing called tinnitus. You'd think corporate would be more sensitive to sound and hearing. read more

Went there Saturday. Waited an hour which wasn't a problem. My steak was literally burned. They took it back. We ate baked potatoes and Waited almost an hour for our steak. I have been to the Salisbury, NC Texas Roadhouse at least 4 times in the last year. First 3 times was wonderful. My 4th visit was terrible. We arrived at 6:30 pm, was told by the wonderful and smiling hostess that it would be about 10 minutes. 35 minutes later, I asked why are all these people being seated before us. She said they were call ins? My husband and I called a couple of months ago, and tried to make a reservation, and they said they did not do that. Well, if a call in is not a reservation, what is it. You are calling in to have your name put on a list?? Also, we are adults and they put us between 2 tables of crying and screaming kids, that the parents did nothing about. They should have a section for parents with children. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. It will be awhile before I go back. read more
