So, my family came here due to a mixup between this and Longhorn. I actually wanted to eat here since its been a long while since my last time here, but my family wanted Longhorn. The cinnamon butter is yummy as always! This time, I opted for the Filet medallions with rice and veggies. The medallions were soft, moist and juicy, and the sides were yummy as well! My sister got the Sirloin Beef tips, and she enjoyed hers as well. Mom got Ribeye and Ribs. She was pretty happy with how hers turned out as well. The waitress was on point with her service even with it being super busy when we came. Good thing we called ahead to put our name down! That's one of the things that makes Texas Roadhouse stand out - their Call Ahead feature. Texas roadhouse is a decent steakhouse. The steaks are tasty, but not superb excellent steaks. It's good. Not great. Solid 4 stars. Sit by the bar and you'll get quick, friendly service. Sit at a table and you'll get the same! That's a plus. They have big beers on tap and usually a few good brews along with what most of the peasants drink like bud and coors. Servers are quick and friendly and usually pleasant on the eyes. I like how they serve you peanuts, but I DON'T really care for all the shells all over the floor. Looks dirty. Feels dirty. Usually pretty good for pick up but tonight I ordered online, got there at 7:45 ( when suppose to be ready) left the car running and phone in car. Checked in and the girl said should be ready in about 5 minutes. People came and went and it got crowded from guest dining in. I decided I should go get my phone out the car to see what time it was. My car had turned off so I knew it had been at least 30 minutes. It was 8:25. So I went and asked if it was ready yet that I had been waiting for 45 minutes at that point. It was sitting up there for idk how long waiting. Got home and food was cold. Manager said it wasn't sitting up there the whole time ready but who knows. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I was having an enjoyable evening with my family until our food arrived. My wife and I have similar preferences when it comes to steak and so when we ordered it just so happened that we asked for exactly the same meal, including a 6 oz. "Dallas Filet" medium rare, while mine was prepared perfectly my wife received what could only be described as raw meat seared on the exterior, but totally red-raw on the interior. I swapped steaks with my wife while I flagged down our waitress, she apologized and took it back. When the waitress returned she had an entourage of waitstaff and someone I assume is a manager, they all watched as I cut into the returned filet and found it still raw at the center. The manager person asked if it was okay and at that point I was just ready to leave so I said it was fine and I got my family out of there as quick as I could. I'm disappointed and confused at how they could prepare identical orders so drastically different from one another. read more

My family and I usually come here twice a month for dinner. The kids love the atmosphere and we enjoy the steak. Unfortunately, our last two visits here weren't as expected. I always order the ribeye and have it cooked medium rare. It came out more on the rare side and I asked them to have it cooked a little more and if it's medium well, then that would be fine also. They brought it out and it was completely well done... more towards the burnt side. This happened both visits and I was just upset because I look forward to these steak nights with the family. I didn't eat the well done steak because steak is suppose to be cooked medium-rare/medium-well. Well done would be too tough and chewy. I have dined here many times and had excellent service and food. Tonight arrived about 415, they were not busy. I asked hostess seating us for regular butter for the rolls. The tray with regular butter was empty, she showed us to our table and said she would be back with the butter. We never saw her again until we left and she was standing in front. The wine I ordered was not the right one. The waitress said, well that's what it is! So I said I'm not paying for it. She took it away and didn't charge us. My steak was cooked to about medium, I ordered it RARE. I didn't complain because obviously they didn't care anyway. Manager normally comes around and asks how is everything. I guess the manager was too busy filling the regular butter cups in the back, because we never saw him/her. It will be awhile before I return. read more

A long time favorite from out west, this location did just fine. Ribeye and Southern fried Sirloin hit the table after the large appetizers. The steaks were done correctly and our server, Rebekah was more than pleasant and very attentive. The place was packed, but our wait was only five minutes. Once seated, our waitress, Kassandra, greeted us immediately. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, and skillfully timed the input of each item from drinks, to appetizer, to main course to ensure everything came out at the proper time. Best steakhouse for your dollar. Good service (except for one time but that waitress was fired), good food, and dim lighting! It gets very busy here so there is a wait and it's very loud, I like to get in an early dinner here when I can just to avoid the crowds.
