Steak was tasteless, dry and burnt all around. Baked Potato was half way cooked and the Caesar salad was missing the dressing and croutons. They need to do something if they want their business to attract good customers. Bad experience today. read more

Texas Roadhouse is a Country restaurant that is delicious food they serve all types of foods like Ribs,Steak,Mashed potatoes,Fries, etc and they also do serve great sides perfect seasoning the food is just amazing. Texas Roadhouse was surprisingly busy when we went Wednesday night to celebrate my wife and I anniversary, but the wait wasn't long at all we were seated quickly and the restaurant was clean and neat. Our waitress greeted us as soon as we got to our table, she was very friendly and attentive to us.The dinner rolls were fresh and very good along with the cinnamon butter that comes with them. I ordered the sirloin with cheese and beacon steak fries and my wife ordered the shrimp and rice. After placing our orders the food did not take long at all to arrive and we could tell that the food was fresh off the grill the food was excellent and the service was amazing too...i would definitely come back again read more

When you put in that your to go is to be picked up at 5:15- it shouldn't be 5:30 and you are still waiting! Neither of the runners were "running" just non chalantly walking to cars. I gave a tip for a reason. Broccoli was yellow in the container. Yuck. C'mon team!! read more

I took my mother here to eat for the first time and we really enjoyed our meal. Texas Roadhouse has really great prices and the steak is to die for. We both got combination meals which is totally worth the money because we had leftovers. Our waitress was also pleasant although I forgot her name. Needless to say we will be back for more! Update: I went back this weekend. It wasn't as great this time because it seemed like our waitress was trying to hurry us out the door, but it's all good. The food was bomb as usual! read more

Nearly two hours here tonight with the waitress named Sam. I understand there are staff shortages. However, when you are seated for a while without being greeted or have drink orders requested, it's a bad sign. Everyone that was seated more than 20+ minutes after us, received their food. We had to ask two people to check on our order after an hour. The waitress never gave us an update or checked on us. When the food actually came, I told Sam that my steak was chewy and I really did not want to wait another hour for my food. Sam did not offer to have the manager come over or put a rush on a different steak. She responded " oh, sorry" and walked away. Two hours later and we wasted $$ for bad service and bad food. I don't mind waiting for good food or a server that seems to actually care. It will be a while before we return. read more

Manager wasn't very remorseful. I will be contacting HQ because both of my experiences have been wayyyy less than satisfactory. And the manager clearly didn't give a flip. Not even so much as a sorry about that or let us make that up to you. Maybe some reevaluating on behalf of customer service needs to be done immediately. Texas Roadhouse is my 'go to' for steak. The food is always good and the service is prompt & friendly.

Crowded and very busy, but the meal was well worth the wait. Great selection of steak cuts to chose from-always cooked to order.

Service was spot on! Steak was cooked perfectly to my preference. This place never failed me. Came for dinner with family and we walked out very satisfied!! This place is better than all the overrated high end steak house in the triangle area. You get your money's worth here. read more

I will say the food was amazing I really enjoyed my steak and everything that I got there the only problem was the wait was tremendously long and when I finally got my table to get my food was tremendously long I spent a total of three hours in this place but I will say the food is very very good I will come back I will try to come back when it's not so busy. read more

I can honestly say I have not had a bad experience here. It's one of my favorite steakhouses to go to. The staff is great and very friendly for as busy as this place is. When I say busy I mean BUSY!! That may be the only con is that you may have to wait a while to get seated especially during prime time dinner hours. Not that being busy is a bad thing because it's a great thing. Usually means the place is amazing. For me Texas Roadhouse has the best steaks for the money. You can choose you own steak market style from a window as you walk in which is pretty cool. They usually have some pretty big steaks in the window that are bigger than what you don't in the menu. That's a big selling point for me. I lover a really big steak I believe the biggest I ever got from there was 28oz. They have other great options as well like the ribs which are great also. Also I just have to say the chili which you can get as a side is my second favorite thing next to the steaks. The service and food was great, but Me and my wife Utensils was very dirty and had the rate waitress to bring us plastic Utensils to eat with. I don't know if they was short staff in the dish room or what??? Texas Roadhouse has always been one of my favorite places to dine and I was not disappointed with my most recent visit. This location is always pretty busy but I went on a Friday night and the wait was only 15 minutes. Once seated our waitress took our drink orders. She was very attentive despite the Friday night crowd. We ordered appetizers and our entrees which both came out pretty fast. For the appetizer we tried the sampler which included boneless hot wings, rattlesnake bites and and potato skins. For my entree I got my usual which is filet medallions which comes with rice and 2 sides. All super delicious. The only negative with this location is parking but it will not deter me from coming back. read more

I would normally have liked this place and location (since I have in the past) but just had bad experience with badly organized Hostesses. Came in for last family dinner with outta town family. Had a total of 10 of us. Was told at door that it was an hour wait and that was it. We waited the full hour and was then called. When we arrived at our seat, we seat two booths across the aisle! I don't believe telling them we were a party of 6 and 4. I did say 10 right??? It was just annoying because 1. It was our last dinner together and we planned on 'being together' 2. We were not told an HOUR ago that we were going to be at two tables! If we had known we would have went next door and gotten seats FASTER AND TOGETHER DONT COME HERE WITH BIG GROUPS! My husband and I just returned home from having dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Wake Forest. We have never been insulted like we were this evening! It's Friday night, my husband worked late so we decided to go up to TR for dinner. When we got there, he ordered a beer and I ordered a white Russian. I had four small drinks. During this time, we inhaled a basket of bread and our salads. I ordered another drink just as our steaks were brought out. They never brought my drink but, we ate our dinner and didn't think about it. Dinner was delicious! After dinner I attempted to order another drink. Then our wait person informed me that I was cut off. I have never... in 40 years as an adult been "cut off". I was so insulted - we were at the bar talking quietly together all evening! I asked to speak to the manager - he came out and offered for the owner to come out and speak with us. The owner came out... I proceeded to tell him that we had quite a history with this Texas Roadhouse. Our daughter began working there when she was 15 years old. When Amanda was the manager, she used to cater prime rib dinners for our residents at The Gardens at Wakefield Plantation, a senior retirement community. We have been going there for many, many years! Sadly, no more! The owner said it was "policy" that they don't serve more than two drinks per hour with a limit of four drinks. We have never been told this. He agreed that we had not caused any problems, that I was fine but, he just wasn't going to take any chances with liability. While I understand to an extent where he is coming from... you would think that staff would use common sense to determine if someone was over indulging or not. We clearly were not. We were quietly enjoying various sports on the multiple TVs and visiting with each other. We will not patron this establishment again. As restauranteurs, if you do not have the ability to distinguish between guests that are overindulging or not then perhaps you are in the wrong business. read more

The rude waitress yelled "did someone sit you there"!! This section is closed!! The hostess told us where to sit mind you.... Then the manager came and said 2 of her employees said that we were being belligerent and yelling... ...quite absurd because no one was yelling at all. Many know of and have tried Texas Road House I for one have tried many Texas Road House and if I may in many states. From New Hampshire to Brockton Ma; been to one out side of Richmond VA, one in SC and a few in GA but nothing compares to the great service we get at the Wake Forest Texas Road House. Now this place has its down falls as do all restaurants but one should know when it comes to a chain restaurant there are good days to eat there and bad days to eat there. I would suggest to avoid Mondays and Tuesdays because their best grill cook works on the busiest days. If you must dine on a slow day avoid cuts of steak that are thin or you may receive either over cooked or undercooked meat. Appetizers are always safe any day being that it is hard to go wrong on a fryer. So what makes this place more special than their sister restaurants? Good question the answer simply is the service. Perhaps because many of the servers are students at the local seminary. Irregardless the service is well worth the visit. On our many visits we have literally tried everything on their menu from the rib-eye steaks to the juicy grilled chicken from fried chicken to fried pickles everything they do here they do it with a bit of love. Shelled peanuts are on every table, so if someone in your party has a peanut allergy this not the place for you. I wanted to like it here. I really tried. I'm a steak and potato girl and I needed a steak place in my new neighborhood. Alas, after three tries, this is not it. The steaks are full of the meat tenderizer and tastes and salty salty salty!!! The sides were all Pretty good and a nice sized salad but the service leaves me wanting more. Every single time we have been there the server has told us she is new and doesn't know much about drinks or specials. Tonight the girl who sat is told us there was a margarita special and when we asked the server she didn't know of one. The servers are very young and cannot help with drink or beer decisions and seem reluctant to ask the bartender. It's a steak place. I just wish they could offer a decent steak. read more

When calling in to discuss the issue, manager on duty Heather advised the kitchen manager said to add water to our orders. Glad we did not have any undercooked steaks. I typically like this place but had a bad experience tonight. First after an hour wait my party was split into two groups. We were not told this would happen an hour before when we put our names in or else we would have gone next door where we could have sat together. The hostesses were poorly organized after an hour wait we were called up to the hostess desk where we proceeded to wait for another 5 minutes in a crowded area where people are coming and going. I do not feel the manager handled our complaint very well. I also wish they would put more vegetarian options on the menu since my sister ( who is a die hard vegetarian ) had to go to the restaurant next door to get a vegetarian meal. I have to say the food was very good and our 2 waitress were very good. I was just disappointed in the lack of concern they showed us as guests and I understand they were busy but you should be able to handle it better on a Saturday night. read more

Went here with my friends and it was deep asab in here..there were so many peoples not spaced out at all!!! The hostesses acted like they didn't gaf & they were going to sit me and my friends at a dirty table. We asked who was going to clean it and the hostess said she would "get someone"...why get ready to seat us??? And then proceeded to sit another family ahead of us and damn near left the restaurant to bring them bread out the door, but we didn't even get bread while being seated at our dirty table. The food was not good the steaks were tough the potatoes were Luke warm at the most the butter didn't even melt on the potatoes. The wait for the steaks once inside was a long time as well. My husband and I went there on a Friday nite on a whim. This was our first visit. We found out after we got there that they do the "Call ahead seating". I would recommend that if you are going on the weekend. It was crazy busy. They estimated our wait at 15 - 20 minutes... which was not bad for the crowd we saw. The wait ended up being 35 minutes... still not awful. The waiter was extremely nice. The food was fantastic. Warm rolls with cinnamon butter brought to the table to start us off - yum. The blooming onion appetizer was a decent size. My husband got a steak and it was cooked perfectly. I got the roasted chicken - and they brought out 1/2 a small nicely seasoned chicken. The sides were home-cooking good. It was more food that we could eat - and really tasty. The only negative is that the place was very loud. It was hard to have a conversation talking at a normal level. It may have been where our table was located and location of speakers? When we were waiting at the bar area, it was not so loud. Then at one point, they turned up the music even louder so we couldn't even hear each other well enough to have a conversation across the table. It took several minutes for me to spot the line dancing staff in the middle of the restaurant... they didn't look too happy about being there, doing that.
