Lamb chops mac n cheese yams and mashed potatoes
    Beverly F.

Best dang lambchops I have had! Tender charred yummy deliciousness! Easy to order virtual food hall for take out only as there is no place to sit. You can order ahead while in route or on site. The food is served hot. Everything I have had from here was excellent. (The stuffed turkey leg with mac n cheese yams and collards was fire!!!) I was quite impressed with the lamb chops. Ummm hmmmm. Will have to go back 'cause Im greedy and they were just that good!!! Give them a try!

We stopped in this spot because I was looking for wings and Turkey BBQ. Apparently wings and Turkey BBQ relocated to this spot. At first it was a bit confusing because I didn't see any signage outside. However, once inside the cashier explains the process. The building houses a few restaurants and you order from the kiosk based on the restaurant you want which i thought was cool. They had about 7 different restaurant options. I ordered my Turkey BBQ and fries that came with a sweet tea. The staff from wings and turkey BBQ was present and she was very friendly and helpful since I had trouble using their self checkout cashier. My food was delicious just as I remembered. I will definitely return to check out some of the restaurant options.

Small food hall with multiple kitchens in the back. They had a wide selection of places to order from the kiosk. The Venezuelan pastelitos were a good snack that were flavored well. The cheese and guava one left a little to be desired but the chicken and beef were good.

Buffalo Wings, collard greens, and yams.

The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional! Ambiance was nice, too, considering they only have 4 or 5 tables for seating. Luckily we were there early enough to snag two tables to put together for my friends and I to enjoy my birthday lunch. We were disappointed to learn that they only serve the stuffed turkey legs on Thursday-Sunday. That's okay though, it just gives us an excuse to come back! Their mac 'n cheese and yams were the absolute best that have ever crossed my lips! Can't wait to go back! Wish they had one of these restaurants in Durham! Photo below is missing my mac 'n cheese, it was just too good to leave any for leftovers!

This is the first time visiting The Flavor District. The Cuban restaurant we had visited recommended this when we asked about Pastelitos. They have a cool concept. They are similar to surrounding other food halls but they have one counter where you order take out from a variety of vendors and can pick up or have the food delivered. This is a virtual food hall. They have an interesting selection of food choices and I really liked this concept. My friend and I each ordered a cupcake to go and they placed the wrong cupcake in her order. She was okay with that but next time we will check.

Today is $1 Wing Wednesday and we decided we would see what all the hype was about with the Crumbstruction within the Flavor District. We saw the link on Facebook to order our meal for pick-up. It was pretty simple, you choose from what was available, decided what time you wanted to pick it up, put in the car information for curbside. Easy Pesy... We ordered 12 unbreaded Lemon Pepper 12 unbreaded Buffalo 12 unbreaded Honey BBQ Kid's 3 piece Teriyaki with Sweet Potato fries Total with Tax - $45.45 Flavor District is the old Golden Corral location in Wake Forest, so it's simple to find and parking is good. We called the number provided for pick-up and the order was brought out promptly. Now, for the food. The hype is proper! Let me say it again, the hype is proper! The wings were a good size, the dressing was dressing, the flavors were good. I don't eat lemon pepper, but I was told it was a little salty for their taste. We ordered sweet potato fries but were given regular. We weren't about to drive back over that - but next time I will make sure to check before leaving the location. We really enjoyed the way the wings were prepared (without breading) and they made sure you had plenty of sauce, no naked wings over here! We will definitely be back to trying the other menu items.

Those things on the left were supposedly fried oysters.

Delicious Indian food in Wake Forest!…read more Super kind staff and quick service. Our favorites here are the chicken Korma, the paneer palak, and the garlic naan. They do a 1-10 spice level which I love. I think a 5 has a good building heat and there are plenty of options to go hotter or more mild from there. Great for takeout or in person.

Instead, a very kind man greeted me and escorted me to a table. The restaurant is very bright inside and a little industrial, but decorated in standard well-worn Indian fare. Their menu is filled with familiar favorites and a couple surprise stand-outs like momo and some Afghani dishes. And to my very pleasant surprise, they offer goat as an option in several dishes. I love goat meat, and can't get it very often, since hardly anyone offers it. So I delighted ordered goat curry, 7 on the spicy scale, and a side of raita, in case the kitchen has a sense of humor. As it turns out, I thought the 7 was fairly med-mild, but my spice level in near super-human. But the kind waitress brought me "Spicy Sauce@ which added a delightful kick!! The curry came with rice and a nice papadaam/chutney set-up. And portions were large enough that I took half home and enjoyed it the next day (when it was even better!!). So definitely an A+ experience. Highly recommended!! Will definitely be back!!!

You can make reservations using the Yelp app, but we got there at 6pm Thursday and tables were open anyway. It filled up in about 90 minutes. Not a lot of pics in the huge menu. They have specials on certain days. After we ordered, we found out about a great deal for Thursdays. It was our fault we missed it because it was written RIGHT THERE on the menu. The lack of pics made it tough to order, though I'd had Indian many times. And the thick accents from the employees didn't help us to decide anything. Myself, I just stuck to curry. I picked mutton because I'd always wanted to try it. Yelp pics didn't help much either because few people write in descriptions what the photos are. Everything tasted amazing. They really know their food. Not to take anything away from the main dishes (I told you I loved them) but the standout for me were the fried pepper appetizers. A mix of just enough outside crunch and soft inside flavor. I'm no fan of chai tea, but I really liked theirs. The mutton was great, but I more prefer my meals without bones in them. Like with oxtails, which are routinely more skeleton than flesh, it's never a fine experience finding your bite to be a mouthful of bone. It's overrated, I promise you. The bill paying system is grossly inefficient. Tell them you want separate checks and nothing happens until the very end where everyone has to tell the server what they ordered, in a language they don't understand, mind you, and she charges everyone, one by one. It took like ten minutes to get through our party of five. It's a really bad method. Since it was my birthday, they played a YouTube video over the speakers. It was a generic "Happy Birthday To Whomever" type deal that worked fine, but they let it play for its whole fifteen minute runtime. It was cute, funny and ridiculous all at once. Wonderful food, nice servers, language barriers can be tough, and some questionable business practices still make this one a solid keeper. Just brace yourself.

It seemed quiet inside on the night that we picked up food, but it was also storming. I personally got the Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Samosas, and Garlic Naan. The Chicken Tikka Masala was really good! It had a lot of creamy sauce, the chicken was tender, and the spice level (medium) was great. I do wish it had a bit more seasoning? But still solid, especially when paired with the gigantic Garlic Naan, which also needed more of a garlicky flavor. The Vegetable Samosas were typical, but I still enjoyed them greatly. My friends got the Chicken 65 and Gobi Manchurian and they were both delicious! While I felt that the Chicken 65 was a bit drier than what I was used to, I loved the Gobi Manchurian! It had the right amount of seasoning, sauce, and spice. Overall, I would probably rate this spot a 4.5/5 stars. Really good food and decent sized portions. I definitely want to dine in next time to experience everything to the max.

What I appreciated the most was that everything was reminiscent of their original dishes, but with innovative and delicious twists- fusion perfection. We got the: - Four Cheese Truffle Kulcha (sharp cheddar, brie, asiago, chilli, black truffle dust, truffle butter, shishito pepper): Love a good bread moment- this one was cheesy, savory, and buttery; appreciated the contrast from the shishito. Added the roasted garlic and chilli dip upon the servor's rec for an extra cost; it was good, but not necessary- I'd probably skip this next time. - Chaat Mate (purple sweet potato & crunchy kale chaat, crispy okra & tuk aloo chat): Loved this! Such cool takes on chaat, which happens to be one of my favorite Indian dishes. Really appreciated all the elements, such good diversity of flavors and textures- crispy, sweet, tangy, earthy. - Nadru Malai Kofta (lotus stem dumplings, nut based sauce, plain butter naan or steam rice): First off, such a pretty dish! The gravy was rich and creamy; the dumplings were so interesting (strong spice essence). - Nigellaseeds Chilly Olive Naan: Got this because I thought the ingredients for this naan sounded unique- it was decent naan, but nothing mind blowing, would probably skip next time. - North Meets South (elaneer payasam, ghewar, rose, hibiscus, coconut jelly, young coconut): Maybe my favorite part of the whole meal! Loved every aspect of this dessert, which seemed so separate but all came together beautifully. Not too sweet, which was great too. I've never had anything like this before. Service was great. We mentioned to our server that we were rushing to catch a show in an hour, and he was so amenable! Ambiance is really nice, definitely one of the prettiest restaurants around. There's free valet parking in the adjacent deck. 10/10 would recommend!
