The employees were nice, never had a bad experience there. The bad, and possibly the most disgusting, experience was walking into Roadhouse and seeing dirty tables not being cleaned with a cleaner and just towels. I'm not sure how a health inspector has not come across this issue, but seeing that made me, sadly, lose my appetite. This happened yesterday, and my previous experiences were not as bad and I enjoyed my meals there. I'm hoping maybe this was just a one time error. I was simply in the lobby near the front desk when I saw all of this. During this same time I also saw the front desk send customers to dirty tables while other tables were clearly available. Not sure if those were reserved, however it would seem obvious to make sure tables are cleaned and ready to go, ya know? Other Texas Roadhouse locations I've been to were great and had a pleasant experience, so I am, again, hoping this was just a one time thing and just this location. Hoping this review helps others double check this location and hoping those who do go have a pleasant experience. read more

This location made a minor error to my order and has come through in less than a day to make it right. The food is always good no matter what it is. Sure they make a mistake here or there but recover in excess of their initial mistake. ALWAYS WILL BE A CUSTOMER!! read more

Have been here 20 minutes. Was brought to a dirty table, our waitress spilt a drink on my father, my salad has come with wrong incorrect toppings, and we have asked for appetizers plates 3 times already. Definitely poor service. Hope the food will be good. read more

I placed my order online, paid online. Got to the establishment in 15 mins. Waited for someone to come and get my name, which took a while, I actually had to flag the person to come over, after she took my name, she came back and said my order should be out soon, 15-20 mins later no food, all the others cars came an left, I flagged down two different people to ask about my order, finally I hear they're remaking it because the sides were wrong! I ordered green beans and a baked potato with butter, that's not hard. After another 5-10 minutes my food finally gets to me but now my husband's food is cold, smh. I usually enjoy my food from Texas Roadhouse but I never had food from this location and will not be going back. My Ribeye steak I waited forever for was more like flat iron steak, so disappointing. If I could give no stars I would. We went got lunch yesterday and had the worst waitress and food was terrible. Took forever to take our order in fact a couple who sat down after us got their order taken before us and got their food 20-25 minutes before us. We ordered appetizers potato skins was so greasy and dried out,I ordered 1/2 slab of ribs and it was so dried and burnt I refused to eat it. If I was a cook I would never serve that to a customer. My daughter in law ordered prime rib and when she got it it looked boiled. She sent it back and got refund. My son's food was the only one good. I decided instead of refund just take it to go since we had already been there a hour longer than we should've been. It was just as bad. We have eaten at this place before and never had this bad experience. We will definitely not be returning. read more

This restaurant is running full capacity in the middle of a pandemic. There was NO social distancing. They did not space the tables out, every single booth & table was full. They tried to sit us at a dirty table, then when I asked if the table was clean, the hostess told us that she would send someone...... This is unacceptable & disgusting & there is a major possibility that someone could catch covid in this facility. I left as soon as the hostess confirmed the table was dirty. Takeout has and continues to suffer. Twice my meal was cooked at the wrong temp -rare salmon, hardly cooked and ultra rare steak, again hardly cooked. I called and complained and they said they'd reverse charges but didn't. Of course. Salad mix seems old and sparse with veggies. Not great the past 3 times. I love Texas Roadhouse, but I think some improvements need to be done to the pickup ordering. Every with the app and placing and paying was great, it was the pickup part that sucked. Last night was extremely busy and you have to go pick up your food the same place that you check in. Took forever to get our food, hostess got three orders mixed up so they had to look into each bag to match everything up. I really feel having a totally separate entrance or something would alleviate some of this confusion and the length of time it took to get our food. The food is what it is, not spectacular but nothing wrong with it.. no problems there. However, the wait is sooo long and the food prep was slow. Plus, they have this weird system where you wait outside for the pager then you move inside and wait on these numbered spots. It feels like you're queuing up for a ride at Disney or something. Giving this place a three star only because our waitress was great. If I had to rate just on food alone would be a 1.5 star. The cloth napkins that held the utensils smelled so bad after picking it up the horrible smell was left on my hands. I can't describe how horrible the smell was. Also the folks that clean off the tables do a horrible job, the table felt sticky and crumbs on the seats. I wanted to try something new so I ordered the country fried sirloin. Bad mistake. It was super salty, a bit burnt and did I say salty. The brown gravy was also super salty and looked like it was sitting out awhile. I've had the fries before plenty times but this time again it was salty. Been here plenty of times and have enjoyed but last night not sure what happened but someone got salt happy. Best food and atmosphere! Great staff that is eager to please. If something is wrong they go out of their way to make it right. The Bar and wait staff are extremely friendly and have the ability to remember you from one visit to the next. Anyone trying the Wake Forest location for the first time should get there early. This is a well known and well rated restaurant and fills up quickly. But go to the bar and order a drink while you wait. You will not be disappointed! read more

The food was great and our service was amazing. The only issue (and it was a big one) was your managing partner Will. I don't think I ever saw someone be so disrespectful to their employees. I continuously heard him talk down to his servers throughout my meal. I was genuinely embarrassed for him and it reflects very poorly on the entire company. Texas Road House is a family favorite. However this was the worst experience ever. We typically go there for every birthday and whenever we can get in without an hour wait. It's great so I get it! My household is 8 people plus my parents and whomever decides to join. On Saturday it was only 4 of us. We were an hour from home and had never been to this particular one before. The wait was 20-35 mins. 1 hour and 10 mins later we get the text that we're up! We go from station to station for the next 15 mins. FINALLY get seated. (Yea I know, should have been gone). Waitress take 10 mins to come to the table. We order drinks, appetizer and meal (at waiters request) all at the same time. I mean we've had plenty of time to look over the menu and we already knew what we were ordering. 10mins, we get drinks. 30 mins later, still no app so we finally see her and ask. She checks, it's coming, the chicken is taking a little longer. Our salads comes out. We ate that and waited, 15-20 minutes later the appetizer and meal comes out together. App is taken off of bill, great! However, my well done steak is so far from well done it said "moo", the waitress response was "better to be undercooked than over cooked" I sent it back after 10 mins because she was nowhere to be found. It's brought back in 10-15 mins and it's STILLLLLLL PINK! Sends it back. It came back still not 100% well done. I had taken the kids to the restroom and was just over it, didn't send it back just asked for a box. At this point I was gonna be chewing rubber in a minute. I asked for a cup of ranch when I first got the steak, the waitress would literally go straight to the kitchen area and not return for at least 15-20 mins. We were sitting right at the kitchen entrance so no, she wasn't coming out and going elsewhere. 1 cup of ranch took 20 mins to get. We got there at 7pm waited to be seated and didn't leave until almost 11. At this point I don't know if I will ever eat at this franchise again. We had a lot of empty cups and time to waste waiting on the waitress to come from the kitchen area for everything. The host was just as bad. One waitress was so upset with them that another waitress had to calm her down and tell her to just walk away. She was asking questions and getting no answers so she eventually had to swivel the monitor to find out what information she was asking for. The host did not care at all, they all strugged it off. I will make a nasty bologna sandwich, before I ever go back to this location. read more

We ordered the cook at home take out and they told us it would be ready at 4:00 pm and the menu said to check in with the wait staff. We got there at 3:45 and when I went to the open door to check in they totally freaked out and told me to get back in my car. At 4:00 the manager came out, asked my name and put a number on my windshield. At 4:15 he came out again and asked if I had prepaid which I had with a very generous tip. At 5:00 he finally brought our order out and placed it on my backseat. My mother was with me and she suggested we check the order so I pulled around the side of the building and checked. I'm glad I did. They had shorted me a 2 sweet potatoes, the steak seasoning and the only rolls I got were the dozen that I actually paid for. There was only 1 dressing for the family size salad and no butter, cinnamon or sugar for the sweet potatoes. I went back around and after another 15 min. I was able to flag someone down, told them the problem and it was immediately fixed. You would think that since it took an hour longer to get the order they could have at least gotten it right. read more

My friend and I ate dinner there tonight - we had the worst service. I do not remember the waitress name but she was awful. She wrote my order wrong and then came to the table with a plate and used her hand to take back the baked potato. As soon as we got home, both my friend and I felt sick!!
