I've taken my car to Christian Brothers Automotive several times, but eventually I decided enough…read morewas enough. To be fair, they do quality repair work, diagnose problems accurately, and their customer service is excellent. I give them full credit for that. However, in my experience, their prices are extremely high. Once everything is added up, you can often find another mechanic or repair shop that offers the same quality work for a much more reasonable price. Their labor rate is around $189 per service, so if you need brake pads and a battery replaced, you could easily end up paying $300+ in labor alone, plus the cost of parts. Recently, I was charged nearly $1,000 just to replace the brake pads on my SUV. Meanwhile, a friend of mine recently had both brake pads and rotors replaced elsewhere for a little over $200. My advice is to protect your hard-earned money and compare prices before committing to repairs. There are many honest mechanics and repair shops that provide great service and quality work at fair prices. In my opinion, Christian Brothers presents itself very well, but their pricing can feel excessive and disappointing.

Right when I drove it off their dirt road, the blinker wasn't working. I took it back for them to Fix it, no "sorry about that" just looked at me like it was my fault. So they rigged it for a couple of weeks and now it's out again. Taking it to another shop to correctly fix the wiring issues since they can only mount tires and complain about hard work. No attention to detail, no quality work. Horrible.
