This is my absolute favorite dessert Che place in Orange County. A must try item and probably their most popular is Che khai mon ( taro dessert). This is a well known dessert that you would usually find at fancy Chinese restaurants. I use to have to travel to Alhambra to get this particular item but Che Mylinh makes it even better than the Chinese restaurants and much cheaper. Each small container is $2.75. Other highly recommended items are Che Thai, Che ba May, Rau Ma suong Sam and their durian xoi sticky rice. Impeccable cleanliness and decent service. Not as busy and hectic as other dessert places in the Bolsa area but don't be fooled- this hidden gem has the best desserts! read more

Do not get drinks here please. I went to get my dad his usual durian sticky rice and I decided to get a jasmine milk tea. I mean a jasmine milk tea with boba ($3ish) sounds like a no fail drink right? WRONG. I saw the employee prepare the milk tea and I was just appalled. He poured some random tea from an old dingy looking apple juice container. I don't even know how long the tea has been sitting in that apple juice container. Disgusting and tasted like ashtray. It was absolutely the nastiest tea I have ever had in my life. Don't offer a tea menu if you can't even make it right. read more

Had The Che Ba Mau For The First Time. It's Pretty Decent, But Still Have To Give It To Brodard Chateau! Everything Was Fresh Though.

Very friendly and nice girl working in the front. A lot friendlier than what I'm used to at most Vietnamese eateries. They have a wide selection of deserets and sweet rice desserts to choose from; and they are all so appealing! They keep the place quite clean and organized too. I had the Thai Dessert, and it was yummy. It wasn't better than Hien Khanh's Thai Dessert. I think Thach Che's coconut juice isn't as rich. i love their che... it taste so good and not too sweet. last time i came, i bought their che ba mao and che tai (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/GYSxLLMyacBvNdYHGCdF3A?select=EN-iGUvQjmXISYU4LNDVeQ#EN-iGUvQjmXISYU4LNDVeQ). its cheap too, cost me 3 bucks for one big glass (regular boba size cup).. normally its something like $3.50-$3.75 at other places. their ba mao is so flavorful and yummy... i dont really like their che tai, coz they put something thats really hard to bite inside the che.. the flavor itself isnt as flavorful as ba mao. service is pretty nice, especially if you are asian and can speak vietanamese and/or chinese. the lady that served me can speak chinese and i was able to communicate with her pretty well. Chè and price is pretty decent but skimpy on the coconut milk which I think is the most important part of the chè. I paid with a dime that had some wax on it, you can tell that it was a dime, but the woman there almost refused to take it. I had to dump out my change purse to show her that I only had $.09 left. I told her if she wanted to take the $.09 I would take the dime that's when she decide to take it. :D This place is a very good location to stop at if you feel tired. I come here sometimes after Aikido classes(which are a few store down from here) to have a smoothie or shake. I would recommend the mocha milkshake, milk tea, and the Xoi Nep Than(a black sticky rice with mung bean paste). They're my favorites. We usually come here after dim sum for some desserts. And I hate to leave bad review. But the customer service here has gone down hill. We were there yesterday and ordered some desserts. The lady which I believed is the owner, she was not very nice. Didn't smille!!! She was cleaning and slamming the chairs in front of us. We got our drinks and ended up enjoying it at Bloomz. We didn't feel welcome here. Wouldn't come back here again unless I really crave for their three color dessert. I discovered the new tea place called 'Bloomz' at the corner of the same plaza. I had been a frequent customer of this place until recently. I had heard from friends and relatives that the owner (or one of) mistreated her employees. I was skeptical of this until I witnessed it myself. As I was waiting to order, I heard the owner yelling at a staff who appeared to be old enough to be the owner's mother. Apparently the staff woman had forgotten her eye glasses and so she spilled some chè onto some stuff... the owner was grinding her teeth telling the woman ..."nh ngày mai mang king nghe không. nh nhe!" (remember to bring your eye glasses tomorrow, you hear. remember!). As she was speaking these words in one of the most disrespectful manners, she was pointing her finger at the staff... Perhaps the staff had spilled some chè, but she deserved respect. Perhaps she needed to be reminded to remember her glasses. But she definitely did not deserve to be scolded in front of customers like that. your chè may be good, but please remember that you depend on your employees and your customers. Do NOT disrespect your customers or your employees. Your survival as a business depends on them. Note: the son of the owner sent a message to in response to my review here. I'm glad they actually read my review and did something about it. I hope they will treat their employees well. I'm upgrading to 2 stars for the response and promise to do better. read more

Everything is excellent! Che 3 mau here can beat all the other places in town for sure. It was $3 before and now is $3.25 but not a big deal. You will deservedly get what you pay for. The place is very clean. All the foods looks so attractive. Just only 1 thing to complain about the lady owner, she never smiles at all. That thing really make me feel bad when step into the store. Their desserts like Che ba mau, Che xam bo Luong, Che khoai mon etc are too sweet. Their prices are higher than Thach Che Hien Khanh, and they have more sugar. The owner needs to realize and practice better healthier desserts. read more

This is in regards to their sanitary. They have the sneeze guard which is great, social distancing -awesome, BUT to have the same pairs of bare hands handling CASH then hold the scoop of ice (without washing their hands), which they have to dig out from their ice machine, to put ice in your drinks is very unsanitary. Then that very same pairs of bare hands handling CASH again, once again without washing hands, and went to pour penny worth drink in the cup, and used her very same hands to clean the tips of my cups is highly unsanitary. Although I have asked for her (the owner) to please wash or sanitize you're hand after handling cash and before making my drinks, she smiled and walked off and continued making my drinks. I ended up throwing my drinks away and did what I have to do. I will not come back here again. We're in a pandemic right now, even if we're not in a pandemic washing hands after handling cash and before prepping food/drinks for customers is a must already. read more

My friends know me as a person who does not eat anything that has sugar in it. I went to Thach Che My Linh unintentionally five years ago. Yet, visiting Thach Che My Linh has become my weekly ritual. I have tasted 90% of their food, yet I have not found one that I dislike. I love the taste of each ingredient in their food. I can taste the quality of the beans in che 3 mau for example. The sweetness and the richness of the ingredients are perfect and they are not overpowering each other. The place is super clean which was the main reason I decided to try the food the first time I set foot in this store. Five years later, the store looks as new and clean as five years ago and the quality of food has not changed. People may not like this store perhaps for personal reasons and I do not want to judge their thoughts and opinions. It takes me at least half an hour travel time to get my desserts at Thach Che My Linh instead of the store next door. Being said that I believe Thach Che My Ling certainly deserve the compliments from my circle of friends. read more

By far the best Che Ba Mau ive ever had.

I wouldn't say their boba is the best, but it's decent. Their che is okay. Although their che is not sweet like che Hien Khanh, I feel like che is supposed to be sweet. I prefer my che to be sweet. The setting is nice and clean (a lot cleaner than che Hien Khanh). This is the reason why give this place a 4 stars. The owner is pretty nice. My work isn't far from here and I stop by here very frequent. Their Thai ice tea is pretty good. read more

Last night my wife and younger brother and I were driving west (from the Little Saigon area) on Westminster Blvd looking for a restaurant advertized on Vietnamese Television and as we drove way passed and to the west side of the Westminster Vietnamese area we decided to make an U-turn and right away we went into this business block where Thach Che My Linh was located. We decided to come in to check it out as well as asking for the direction. First impression I got was the facility was very clean (got to say that it's probably the cleanest Che shop in the Bolsa area) and the decor was fine and elegant. You can tell that the owner must have been very dedicated to the business and had put a lot of efforts and care into the business here. While I was asking for the driving direction to the other restaurant, my wife was looking and deciding which Che to buy since we and our extended family love Che very much. After all, we purchased about 20 cups of various type of Che and left. All of the 20 cups of Che were excellent. The flavors were just right (some other Che places put too much flavor), and the level of sweetness was also just right for ALL of us (our extended family). We do not like the Che that are too sweet and Thach Che My Linh did it perfectly. I also paid attention to the owner when she put together our orders and saw that she carried her choirs out with great care, cleanly, and very professionally. In this hard economy time it is very nice and special to see someone who still provides great food with excellent quality at a very reasonable price instead of cutting quality for the profit as many many other businesses around are doing. We all wish that Thach Che My Linh will be able to continue and sustain their quality and their business be prosperous so we can always count on having the excellent Che anytime we have a craving for it. I would strongly recommend Thach Che My Linh to all of my friends and family members, and of course we will make Thach Che My Linh our most favorite Che Place from now on. read more
