Tried this rice paper roll set today, and honestly it looked basic, but it surprised me in the best way.

Tried this rice paper roll set today, and honestly... it looked basic, but it surprised me in the best way. The rice paper was soft with just the right chew, not too sticky, not too dry. The filling was pretty generous, with egg, savory toppings, and a bit of herbs that kept everything balanced and not greasy. The highlight for me was definitely the dipping sauce. It had that perfect sweet-savory balance, plus some crunchy bits on top that made each bite more flavorful. One dip and you're like... yeah, this hits. Even the boiled eggs on the side, which seemed simple, actually completed the whole thing really well. Overall, it's the kind of food that: isn't fancy, but somehow sticks with you. If you're craving something light, snacky, but still satisfying, this is a solid choice.

Love the Vietnamese food street here. It brings back my childhood favorite memories. The store is giving good vibes from VN

A delightful little indulgence -- beautifully presented, perfectly balanced in flavor, and surprisingly satisfying.

Discover the nice vietnamese street food in Westminster . I ordered some of those foods on their menu from eggs quail $9.50 , crabs soups $9.50 , Mango tea $6 , strawberry tea $6 , everything was delicious, delivering rich flavors and comforting textures , authentic Vietnamese flavors . The restaurant not only impressed me with yummy food but also the decor gives major old-school Vietnam vibes, like stepping into a Saigon alley in the '90s. Friendly and extremely enthusiastic and lovely service. Limited parking !

Everything tasted really good and fresh. The rice rolls were soft with a lot of filling, and the sushi looked nice and had great flavor. I liked how there was a mix of different things to try, and nothing felt too heavy. I'd definitely come back again. Sweet owner and nice music.

Snacks are great and reminds me of home. The drinks were refreshing, and everything came out quickly. Service was friendly and efficient, and the casual vibe makes it a great spot to hang out with friends.

I've had Vietnamese street foods at other places that are better. I got the Banh Trang Cuon Bo and the rice paper was super chewy. Tamarind sauce wasn't that great and was too sour and liquidy for my liking. Not sure if I'll come back but I may give other menu options a try

I love the peach orange lemongrass here because not a lot of places gets the taste right. Parking is a bit limited if you come during dinner rush since the kicking crab is next door. I recommend to call in advance just in case the place gets busy at night time. My favorite is the one with butter on top, the first item on the menu

The food here is delicious. I will come back.

The food here is delicious. I really enjoyed the drinks and the rice paper snacks. I will definitely come back to try more dishes here.

I found out about this interesting and cool new Vietnamese street food place called "Goc An Vat" in Westminster on Yelp. I was tempted to try this place by looking at the photos. Hubby and I came by today around noon time after dropping off my daughter at her friend's birthday party. We liked the vibe and their decor of this cute snack place. We ordered the combination dish called "Met Banh Trang 3 Loai" (3 kinds of rice paper) for $25. We picked the choices of rice paper rolls with green onion, dried shrimp, and fried pork fat, and traditional rice paper with kumquat sauce and beef sauce, beef, squid, and black beef jerky, etc. This is our first time trying this kind of authentic Vietnamese street food. The presentation of the combination dish was quite attractive; however, the rice paper rolls were stuck together, and they were a bit hard to chew (not soft enough). They were very flavorful and also a bit spicy, but my hubby did not like the shredded banh trang (rice paper). We also ordered the Mango Passion Fruit Tea (Tra Xoai Chanh Day) $6, and the Pandan boba milk tea ($6), the drinks were amazing (highly recommended). I would give them 4 stars because their food was very authentic Vietnamese street food, and it's also a good place for a quick bite. Good atmosphere with a lot of cute decor. The service was good.

We ordered a variety of dishes, including the snails, and everything was absolutely delicious. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the herbs and seasonings were fragrant and flavorful, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Even the snails won me over! Honestly, this is probably one of the best seafood restaurants we've ever tried. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, which makes it an even better value. Ordering a regular scallop dish would have probably been better. The scallop gets overcooked in the egg. The service was below average: 1. We ordered snails and they didn't give us the bamboo skewers to eat them with 2. They took away the bin to toss the shells mid meal and never returned it 3. No one checked in on our table during the meal so we didn't get any water refills 4. It was very difficult to get the attention of any wait staff 5. Over all those years, they have never disappointed me and continue to serve really good food. I usually get the beef brisket pho and it's really good. The noodles are just the right texture, the broth is clean and flavorful, and the meat tastes fresh and tender. Their dui bo is also very good, but usually runs out after 1:00 or 2:00 pm, since they only have a limited amount of this item every day. The meat is fall off the bone tender and has a more fatty flavor to it. It usually sits in some broth that absorbs that beefy and fatty flavor from the bone. A great addition to any bowl of pho. Alternatively, I sometimes also get the bun thit nuong and it's very good. The eggrolls it comes with is wrapped with rice paper, so when it's fried up, it has such a satisfying crunch and texture to it. The thit nuong is has a nice smokey, grilled flavor to it. The shrimps are okay as well. This is a very satisfying and filling dish, so if you're looking for a high volume dish, this may be the one to get. Expect long lines during peak hours. I can confirm though that the wait is worth it! Service is always very good. The ambiance on the inside is fine, very plain and unassuming in my opinion.
