The cannonball jelly fish, chicken feet, and young eggs in Thai sauce is bomb. It is expensive though for $28 for a small portion but I think these ingredients are expensive. I will definitely come back for more.

I came on a weekend's night but it wasn't very crowded inside. The parking in this plaza might be hard to find sometimes and quite compact. I ordered a Banh Trang Phoi Suong Mo Hanh ($12.25) and a Da Me (Tamarind drink) $6. The Banh Trang is okay, it's fun to try but still doesn't have the taste of the OG Banh Trang Tron. I would prefer the shredded mango to be less ripe. I personally love quail eggs so I did order extra but the quail eggs didn't taste so fresh (not bad though). On the other hand, the Da Me drink was amazing, I ordered less ice but they still filled it full and it wasn't watered down.

My family really loves this dish and buys it every day. I've also tried another one and really liked it.

When we got there, no one was inside. We rang the bell up front to call someone up to help us. Friendly service ! Initially wanted to come here with the intention of getting my usual bento box but found out the hard way that they closed. The place that took it over is a Vietnamese street food spot. My friend and I wanted to eat something near Da Vien so we decided to try this place. The interior gives kawaii vibes with the cute plushies, backpacks, key chains, and water bottles. They also have random snacks and drinks from VN for sale. My friend and I decided to try banh trang tron and mi cay xao. The mi cay xao reminded us of the spicy Korean noodles (Buldak spicy noodles challenge) but a bit more mild. If you have a good spice tolerance then you'll enjoy. It comes with bell peppers, egg, and onions. The banh trang tron had 3 kinds of jerky on there (beef, pork, squid) which were a mix of sweet and savory. This was the #1 best seller so we had higher expectations. The rice paper was expected to be crispy but it was on the chewy side. It also came with peanuts, a couple quail eggs, and what tasted like shredded mango. We haven't tried Viet street food before so it was an experience for us. Would've enjoyed more if it was what we expected and if the portion was bigger for the price. If you check in and share your food order on social media (IG, FB, TT), you get a free cuon lac muoi toi kho bo. This was my fave item that we ate. They wrapped eggs and crispy onions or something crispy within rice paper similar to that of the banh trang tron and it came with jerky and a sweet dipping sauce. They made it warm / fresh !

    1. The Fried Vietnamese rice papers were crispy! The cartilages were flavorful! 2. The spot has casual vibes! The interior is cozy! 3. There are indoor and outdoor areas! There are few tables available! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with our order! It took less than 15 mins! 5. Parking can get crowded depending on time and day! Spots are double-line, and some can be compact! Note: I did not easily see a restroom available for customers! Photo: Chicken Cartilages, Fried Vietnamese Rice Paper, Strawberry Tea, and Da Me

Was craving some Vietnamese snacks and found this cute shop in the plaza. The interior is very cute with small seats that remind me of my recent visit to Vietnam. My family and I wanted snacks and had ordered the Banh Trang Tròn, Banh Trang Cuon, & Fish Ball with Fish Sauce and Okra. I found the Banh Trang Trong and Banh Trang Cuon to be both decent. The Banh Trang Cuon came with too much butter which threw me off but next time I'll order it with less butter. I think the Banh Trang Trong would have definitely been better if here was kumquat added. I found the Fish Ball with Fish Sauce and Okra to be decent as well. The fish balls were good but it was just decent and nothing stood out too much. Final Verdict: Solid 3.5/5. The food was decent. The workers were nice and the shop was cute. Maybe next time I'll try other street food snacks while in the area.

Paying $16 for this to-go bowl is crazy, especially when it's not even a real dine-in restaurant. The soup was extremely salty, barely warm instead of hot, and honestly disappointing overall. I don't know if it was rushed because it was made last minute or what. They didn't even include ngò/cilantro, and the price wasn't posted upfront either. Definitely not worth it.

The store is next to Arirang supermarket and Da Vien coffee. It's very cute and well organized. The staff are nice and helpful. They have a lot of different seasoned rice papers and other snacks. I like that they offer the rice paper without toppings for $9 compared to A Vat OC which does not offer. Will be back to try the rest :)

Cute, comfy little store that has majority of currently VNese street snacks. Stopped by for the Thai dessert (Bogo buys 2 for price of 1) on Sunday early evening. The place is simi packed, with people sat on the sidewalk on little chairs and eat/drink. Inside there are several small tables and chairs surrounded by different snack bags for sale. There is one person do the orders and run the tables at the same time. But she nice and fast. Prices wise, POV, abit expensive for the portion but understandable with current situation plus it looks delish. I only ordered the drinks and it great (abit sweet) but it's from the durian so. Overall, not bad and will come back when my snack craving arrives so I can try some of the snacks here.

Best snacks in town, definitely coming back to try more foods. Nice atmosphere, make me remember to my childhood in vn. Recommended!

I came for a quick snack and left plotting my next visit. The flavors here are bright, honest, and wildly satisfying. Dua tac Sunlight in a cup. Fresh pineapple meets salted kumquat for a sweet tart rush that wakes every taste bud. The peel oils perfume the ice and the sip stays zesty to the last melt. I would come back for this drink alone. Sun ga Shatter crisp on the outside and tender bite inside. A glossy garlic fish sauce glaze clings to every ridge of cartilage. Each piece snaps, then gives, then floods with savory heat and a little sweetness. Perfect with a cold drink. Banh trang cuon Soft rice paper rolls packed with herbs, shredded mango or green papaya, and a touch of protein. The tamarind sauce is the star with bright sour, a little sweet, and chili warmth. It is messy in the best way and impossible to stop at one. Service and vibe Fast, friendly, and no fuss. The line moves and the food lands hot. Casual street energy with just enough chaos to feel real. Value Portions are generous and the bill stays kind. You taste care in the prep and balance in every dish.

They are located in the same plaza as Brodard, Vox Kitchen, Rol Handbar, etc. in Fountain Valley. This location is open later than the other Airoma. They use ceremonial matcha which makes a huge difference. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte (74% sweet) after trying one previously in LA. I paid and waited for my order to be ready. After a few minutes, I received my order. I shook it up and tried it. Delicious! Even better than I remembered. My husband who doesn't usually enjoy matcha, tried it and liked it. He does not dig the earthy taste, but this drink changed his perspective. Airoma made my husband a believer in matcha. We do not usually go out too often for matcha, but when I'm in the mood next, this place will be a must visit. I'll have to try their egg coffee in the future too.

I actually keep hoping that they open another location over near Cerritos/Artesia. There was a line leading outside of the building, but it moved pretty quickly. And service was very quick. There's very minimal seating on the left hand side of where you order. I wouldn't say this is the ideal shop to work in and hang out and chat, but that's fine.

Located next to AR market, it is a large interior with lots of lighting due to glass walls for half the store. I was a bit weary of da vien considering I couldn't sleep after trying their egg coffee at their bolsa location (I know Vietnamese coffee is famous for their caffeine that sneaks up on you due to the sweetness of their coffee (being Vietnamese myself) but not at this level). However, the manager or owner of the bolsa location did reach out to me to make it right after my critique. Going here is a night and day experience! Let me tell you of the tastiest coffee that rivals Starbucks... and I still got ample sleep! I got their marble drip coffee. I ordered mine with "50% sweetness and less caffeine." The moment it flowed through the straw and hit my tongue, it was the smoothest, creamiest most tasty coffee I ever had. Perfect amount of sweetness and a kick of caffeine, I was so amazed!! Their customer service here is nice and polite at the counter but that's pretty much it. They have a touch screen kiosk to also order on the side. When I came, there were 4 people ahead of me but the wait time wasn't that long thanks to the above things. I would definitely come here again. I would never guess to give a Vietnamese coffee establishment the highest rating on yelp considering my caffeine sensitivity but this is it!

Vibe: Summerfield is a staple in Garden Grove for friends to chat at or students to do some homework in.The place is very clean and has its really nice charm to it. There's plenty of natural lighting, despite being somewhat tucked away at the ground floor of a complex with other businesses in the same complex. The interior space and the two outdoor patios are really nice and roomy. Food & Drinks: I got a MIso Crunch Platter for ~$15, and the value for this was really great. The salad was very filling especially because it came with a lot of popcorn chicken, almonds, fried crisps, salad green mix, and a mildly spicy dressing. The combo also comes with a milk two of your choice (which I believe there were only two options, if I'm not mistaken). The Wintermelon Milk Tea at regular sweetness is really sweet in my opinion, so for folks that like their drinks to taste more of a beverage instead of a dessert I'd recommend starting at at 50% sweetness. I'd recommend bringing your own water since the store policy bars staff members from refilling customer-brought water containers (e.g., Hydroflasks and Owalas), and their water cup is really tiny and almost only the size of a standard shotglass. Work-Friendliness: Lots of outlets and very stable wi-fi! There's also tons of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The shop has music they play, but it's not too loud to the point that you can't focus, or put headphones on to listen to your own music. There's a lot of seating options for you to choose from. Getting There: The parking lot immediately next to it doesn't quite get busy, so driving there is an option. If it does get filled up, however, street parking is pretty easy since the shop is at a complex immediately neighboring suburbs. Public transit doesn't seem like it would be ideal. Service: Really kind staff and very patient. Going back to their water refill policy: Christine kept helping me out very patiently with water refills even though I kept coming back for what felt like the 50th time. Christine always assisted me with a smile on her face, which didn't make me feel like a burden at all. Big shout out to you diva

This quaint cafe has a lot of seating, and even some with outlets. You order with the cashier and then seat yourself. Service could be friendlier. Since it was my first time I was looking at the menu and their staff kept asking me questions and I felt pressured to make a decision. They did make recommendations but it wasn't anything I liked. I disclosed up front I wanted the labubu topping, and they said a drink was required. No problem. I was going to get a drink anyways. Honestly I would have gotten more stuff in general if the service was better. I ordered the Cereal Flakes Milk Tea ($7) and added the Labubu Jelly ($2.50?). For their characters, I am told they all taste the same. It looks like they use molds, but a lot of the execution is sloppy and the colors get mixed over to different sections. I would pay more for a better executed character. Okay, I had all my stuff with me and talked about outlets because I was clearly enjoying my purchase for here... tell me why... this young man decided to package everything up in togo packaging and then he even put my labubu in a separate container, and there was no space for me to throw the topping on. THIS REALLY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF MY VISIT. Also I gave them back all the togo materials cause I felt like that was wasteful. Anyways, I liked the drink. Don't think it tastes like a cereal drink... but oh well. The taste was good, but it needs a different name. The labubu jelly was overly gelatinous. I know it's a formula balance with the ingredients when using these molds so it comes out, and lasts, but I feel like this could be a little silkier. Enjoy the gimmick. I really didn't expect much coming here. Just for laughs and some photos. I would come back if my niece wants to check it out... but I hope their customer service improves during future visits.
