There are so many options of desserts here. There are some I've never had. You literally have to point and pick what you want as there are no signs. Our must go to after spending an afternoon in Westminster. We love to get Che from here for the after dinner dinner dessert. Must have : 3 mau dai Xoi Flan If you're a lover of flan you have to try their version. It's so soft, like a custard but light yet creamy. There's a nice amount of the caramel sauce at the bottom of the cup and it's not bitter at all. Ughh my all time fave I love it so much! Recently in the area so stopped by here to pick up some sticky rice and dessert. There were no customers in the stores other than myself, then 2 people came in right behind me. They had hardly anything behind that glass window. All the trays were empty. Only some pre-packed items as shown in pictures. The chicken sticky was very bland and rather dry. I'm not sure of the relationship between this one and the one on Bolsa but many of the same type of dessert that both places offer don't look nor taste the same. Personally, I prefer the other location. I wonder if they are franchised and owned by totally 2 different owners? I have been going to this Che establishment since I was a child it's been 20+ years no one does the Che ba mau #1 like them. They put so many different beans in it and the flavors are delicious together a bit on the sweeter side though which I prefer and love. The parking plaza can be a bit hectic depending on timing of when you go the weekends here would be madness. My go to orders are the #1 ba mau dau, che bap (corn), che chuoi (banana), and che banh chuoi hap (steamed banana). I also like a few of the xois but they are sold out quick. Definitely recommend stopping by for some desserts it never disappoints! read more

If you go around 9:30-10 AM, the desserts come out fresh and HOT -- like "I-can't-wait-but-I'm-burning-my-mouth-and-I-don't-care" hot. And that banana with coconut cream? Listen... if loving it is wrong, I don't want to be right. I would marry that dessert if the law allowed it. I buy chè here every. single. day. So yummy! I got the Bánh tầm khoai mì, which is a squishy Tapioca cassava dessert covered with dried coconut, sesame, sugar. I also got the Che chuối or banana dessert, which consists of coconut milk, tapioca strips, and banana. Super refreshing and not too sweet. Incredible! Very little English is spoken in this cash-only pick-up shop, and I loved everything I ate. I did have to ask a friend what I actually ate after the fact but it was all amazing. Banh Da Lon is a gelatinous tapioca flour base flavored with pandan sandwiching a pasty mung bean filling. Sticky Rice is classic, though it's my first time having the Vietnamese iteration. Great texture, subtle sweetness. The Banh Tam is new, and it's hard to resist these colorful wide noodles. Grated cassava with tapioca starch forms an almost-mochi which is crusted with coconut and sesame seeds. A sweet pandan drink has a great contrast of grainy texture with pandan jelly cubes. They have a truly impressive spread, and I've barely scratched the surface. I'm determined to try everything here one day. read more

A small dessert place that always gets packed. It's kinda hidden situated in the inner side of the plaza. Everyone seems so friendly and accommodating. They understand you for not speaking Vietnamese and would try to have somebody who speaks English to help you and explain to you what you are curious about. Around $50++ later and 2 big plastic bags later, we finally left the place. We had drinks, yummy durian desserts, Thai desserts, warm desserts, cold desserts, savory desserts, sweet desserts and didn't know what else we raided at that place. Anyhow, I took one star away because maybe we got too greedy and got too much to bring home, some of them tasted weird when we got home. Most of the time is the one that has coconut. I paid $6.50 for a large che cup of water, not coconut milk/cream, topped with boba, their so-called bot lot, and het luu, no red or white beans and they called it "che 3 mau". What a freaking joke. It is BUSY! I came here with my brother in the afternoon on a Saturday and it was packed! Everyone was moving super fast and orders were being given and passed out left and right but we managed to snag everything we wanted and they were absolutely delicious! We had 3 things; Silkworm cassava cake - this was my favorite out of the 3 that we picked out. It was sweet, sticky, and to top it all off there was something similar to a coconut syrup concoction that we pour on top of it that elevated the dessert even more! The coconut syrup was sweet yet salty and the same time and really blended the two elements together super well. Banana dessert- I'm a huge fan of banana and this dessert definitely did my craving justice. There were huge chunks of banana in this sweet and savory coconut liquid type thing and it was delicious! The bananas were really aromatic and the coconut brought the flavors of the banana out. Cassava and jam - Also super delicious! A Vietnamese dessert staple where I've been going to for years! I got the banh da lon and che thai and they were both delicious and not too sweet! I think it was around $8 ish for both. I've also gotten other items before and they have a medium sweetness level--the che ba mau is too sweet for me so whenever I get it I just ask them to make it less sweet. This is my go to stop to pick up some dessert since it's fair priced and delicious! SERVICE: Most of the workers speak vietnamese but there are some that can speak english, and you can also just point to what you want and they'll get it for you. There isn't really a line system sometimes and it's busy so you have to walk up and make eye contact / get the attention of a worker to get served. I don't speak vietnamese but I was able to have a quick and easy transaction. Overall, I would recommend this place as they offer a variety of delicious different vietnamese desserts at a good price, I have been going since I was a kid and I will continue to come here when I crave it! read more

It's not perfect, nothing is. Parking is a bit tight, but lots of people coming and going so it's an easy flow. Some un housed people nearby smoking mysterious things and giving dirty looks, very inappropriate gathering and causing discomfort to businesses. Desserts are on point, cash only. I agree with others, there's a line but it doesn't really mean anything. It helps if you speak Vietnamese, I don't, some workers behind the counter speak perfect English so don't assume you must know Vietnamese. I went on a Monday at around 2 and it was busy but not too long of a line. They did help someone who arrived after me, but in their defense he was probably a regular, he ordered probably $40 worth of desserts and was very fast at ordering. I was such a newby asking what is what, etc. but when they helped me I was given the same attention they gave to other customers who were speaking Vietnamese and ordering a ton. I can't tell you the names of what I ordered, but I ordered every coconut milky soupy dessert and I loved all of them. My favorites were the ones with taro and another with cassava, there's also a banana tapioca one that is epic. Overall I can oversee the flaws because the type of desserts they serve here are truly hard to find. I went to Vietnam and fell in love with Vietnamese desserts and this is the only place I've come across that has authentic Vietnamese desserts. Wish they had this one cold coconut Dan Ang dessert with tapioca and fresh young coconut, that is basically impossible to find anywhere. Take my words with a grain of salt because I'm not Vietnamese but I've tried a healthy amount of Viet food in my life and I'll happily say this place has the best and most consistent authentic Vietnamese dessert. I don't know what any of the names are but as long as you point and say how many you want, the workers will understand you (plus most of them speak English anyway). They always have a very diverse and full selection with every tray filled with something different. They even try to stuff as many different things in the tiny corners of the display case. How could a bare hand touching food being ordered is ACCEPTABLE? If you want Vietnamese desserts this is the place to go! The great thing about this is it's on displayed so even if you don't know what to order you can see and ask about it. There's so much different types of dessert to choose from including refrigerated items. The prices are pretty affordable and some items like the deep fried sesame balls are sold as sets rather than individual pieces. The desserts weren't too sweet just right.
