Parking is limited and the line to order can be long sometimes but the sweet dessert is worth the wait. I have been coming here since the 2002 until now still Love their 3 colored dessert, and bánh chuối in coconut milk, chè đậu ván , bắp hầm was delicious too . They're open 7 days a week from 8 am-6:30 pm and they only take cash. Try to get there early because some of the popular desserts sell out fast.

Our must go to after spending an afternoon in Westminster. We love to get Che from here for the after dinner dinner dessert. Must have : 3 mau dai Xoi Flan If you're a lover of flan you have to try their version. It's so soft, like a custard but light yet creamy. There's a nice amount of the caramel sauce at the bottom of the cup and it's not bitter at all. Ughh my all time fave I love it so much! Docking a star bc of the parking and the transients in the area due to the liquor store. Last time I was here someone threw a rock into the window, startling everyone inside.

I know about this place since I was in HS, which was back in...decades ago. Parking can be rough since they share the parking lot with 5 other stores. Plenty of sweet desserts choices and the prices are roughly around $4 each. Clean and well organized with friendly staff.

Recently in the area so stopped by here to pick up some sticky rice and dessert. There were no customers in the stores other than myself, then 2 people came in right behind me. They had hardly anything behind that glass window. All the trays were empty. Only some pre-packed items as shown in pictures. The chicken sticky was very bland and rather dry. I'm not sure of the relationship between this one and the one on Bolsa but many of the same type of dessert that both places offer don't look nor taste the same. Personally, I prefer the other location. I wonder if they are franchised and owned by totally 2 different owners? The other location always has a super long line on the weekends, regardless what time of the day though.

I have been going to this Che establishment since I was a child it's been 20+ years no one does the Che ba mau #1 like them. They put so many different beans in it and the flavors are delicious together a bit on the sweeter side though which I prefer and love. The parking plaza can be a bit hectic depending on timing of when you go the weekends here would be madness. My go to orders are the #1 ba mau dau, che bap (corn), che chuoi (banana), and che banh chuoi hap (steamed banana). I also like a few of the xois but they are sold out quick. Definitely recommend stopping by for some desserts it never disappoints!

Back for more delish Vietnamese desserts. Love those pandan treats: chewy & QQ while not overly sweet. We tried a new item that looks like mochi, it was just ok compared to the pandan treats.

Do better! It is unethical to serve this ice to your customers. Clean your ice machine/water line. This is absolutely gross and warrants a visit from the health department.

My favorite! Bananas with coconut...I think!

Alright, so I'll admit, this place has the most unique desserts. Since I didn't grow up with these delicacies they have quickly become one of my guilty pleasures and I just love everything about this little bakery! I especially enjoy the banana coconut Vietnamese morsels of goodness. To be honest, I don't know what the true Vietnamese name is, but that's a pretty close description . The soft chewy bananas combined with coconut sauce makes for a tasty not too sweet treat. You gotta check this bakery out for yourself as it is a local gem!

Chè Hiền Khanh? Let me tell you... this place is dangerous. I walk in for one dessert and walk out with a bag big enough to feed a small village. If you go around 9:30-10 AM, the desserts come out fresh and HOT -- like "I-can't-wait-but-I'm-burning-my-mouth-and-I-don't-care" hot. And that banana with coconut cream? Listen... if loving it is wrong, I don't want to be right. I would marry that dessert if the law allowed it. I buy chè here every. single. day. I think they know me so well they probably have a bowl ready before I walk in. Fifty desserts to choose from, and my brain just shuts down like: "BUY ALL OF THEM." And I do. Then I share with friends so they don't judge me... too much. Prices start around $3, which is basically free considering the emotional support these desserts provide. 10/10, would risk my diet again.

Bought the cassava cake Monday, it's Tuesday and there's already mold. It has been in the fridge too.

Don't ever get their cassava cake. I picked one up on Monday and it's now Tuesday night (less than 24 hours later. It has been in the fridge since I got it and went to go have a piece and see that there's mold. Ugh. Not cool. I'm now questioning all the other stuff...

Che Thai 5/5 stars. Top notch! Has jackfruit, longans, etc! Super refreshing!

If you like viet desserts, this is the place to buy it. Again, parking is still terrible so you'll wanna park across the street in the neighborhood. I ordered a ton of items! They accept Zelle here!! Yes, Zelle! So no need for cash anymore! Yay! The Che Thai is the best here. Everyone gets it! The sticky rice is a little dry but they have durian xoi so everyone gets it! They speak English, and if they don't understand you, you can just point to it. Service is great and place is fairly clean. I'll be back! Yum

I don't know what the real difference between Thach Che Hien Khanh located at 9784 Westminster Blvd and Thach Che Hien Khanh located in T&K supper market. I ordered: chè 3 màu, sương sa hột lựu, chè khoai môn and chè trôi nước. I tried them all and I did not think those items or more can compare to other places . That is my opinion even though Thach Che Hien Khanh in 9784 Westminster is the first place to serve Vietnamese deserts.

    Jacinda X.

Lots of Vietnamese desserts to choose from! There are no prices listed, so just ask. I had to get the Che dessert drink and it was PERFECT! It was so good that I went back in to get another before leaving. There are homeless people outside of the shop and the parking is small.

The interior is quite spacious, with vibrant yellow and green chairs that create a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a Vietnamese café. We ordered the Mango Chè and Thai Chè. The Mango Chè leaned more toward a smooth mango purée with fewer fresh mango cubes than expected, while the Thai Chè was exactly what I had hoped for. One thoughtful touch was the presentation--the ice was served separately, allowing the dessert portion to remain generous without being diluted or taking up space in the bowl. The only downside was the seating area along the side wall. Several of the seat cushions appeared quite worn and noticeably dirty, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Soft jazz music played throughout the café, creating a peaceful ambiance that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the space. One of my favorite things about this café was the variety of drinks available. There were so many interesting options to choose from, and I decided to try the Sakura Latte. It was beautifully presented and had a delicate floral flavor that was both unique and refreshing. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into both the taste and presentation of the drinks. The dessert display was equally impressive. The cake case was filled with a variety of beautiful, aesthetic-looking cakes and pastries that immediately caught my attention. Everything looked carefully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. Even if you're not planning on ordering dessert, it's worth taking a look at the display because it's truly eye-catching. The café is also incredibly photogenic. There are plenty of aesthetic corners, cute décor elements, and picture-perfect spots throughout the space, making it great for Instagram photos. The combination of natural lighting and tasteful interior design creates a welcoming environment that's both stylish and comfortable. They also offer a 30% off student discount which is so generous! I appreciate the friendly service and letting me know about the discount :) Overall, this café is a great place to study, work remotely, catch up with friends, or simply unwind with a drink and dessert. Between the smooth jazz music, wide selection of beverages, beautiful cakes, Instagram-worthy interior, and generous student discount, it's definitely a spot I'll be returning to again.
