    Penang curry

Thai 2 Go is not a full-service Thai restaurant ala Noi, Wild Rose or Toomies. Rather, it's a Thai take-out joint. There is limited seating - just two outside tables and a bench along the window inside. Moreover, the menu is much more limited than your typical Thai restaurant. Thai 2 Go specializes in curries. If you want drunken noodles, look elsewhere. But the curries are pretty darn good. Service is quick, helpful. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

Drive by all the time and never really see anyone there but while at Subway I Figured I'd give it a shot since it's next door. They have a very limited menu so I thought well maybe what they do have is really good. Wrong !!! All I had was the spring rolls and gyoza both were burnt and nasty. If they can't even get those right I sure ain't gonna waste my money on a full dish. Waste of $14 plus a tip

The restaurant runs on a highly efficient counter-service model: you wait in line to order, and a server coordinates whether you want to grab a table inside or out on the patio. Once we were seated, our food came out incredibly fast. I had the Spicy Pork Noodles, and my partner got the Yellow Curry loaded with shrimp and pork belly. Both main dishes were packed with flavor, and the crisp cucumber salad was the perfect side to share. I also ordered a hard cider to wash it down. Everything was delicious from start to finish.

Just enough spicy without being too much. Ordering at the counter seemed interesting to me due to the layout of the dining room, but the staff knew exactly what they were doing and were able to direct us to a seat easily! Our food and drinks also came in a timing manner. I really appreciated that we could see all the way back into the kitchen and there was transparency between the kitchen and the consumers. The bar looked gorgeous and I would definetly like to sit there next time for the vibes. I also loved that they provided self-serve boxes, napkins, and utensils but still had a sign asking patrons to be concious of how much they're using. The overall flow between ordering, self serve, and dining was super efficient and nice! Can't wait to come here again!

They shut the lights off in the restaurant at 9:20pm. Us and another table took the hint to finish our drinks, get boxes for the remainder of our food and leave. Outrageous. Nothing special above and beyond insofar as the service but it was not bad either. I would say, they did their job. My granddaughter and I both got the Khao Soi Curry with Chicken. It was fantastic. Hot, creamy and coconutty with just the right level of spice. The portion was extremely generous making for some excellent leftovers. It had crunchy noodles for texture, soft noodles for chew and it was very saucy, with a decent portion of chicken. If I had to find a negative, by itself, the thinly sliced chicken seemed under seasoned and would have been dry had there not been a good amount of sauce. All in all, I highly recommend a visit to others and deemed them worthy of a return visit to try some of their other menu items.

Just so happens one of places we wanted to try was closed for for lunch, so we ended up wanting to try Miyagi Ramen. Boy, glad we did. We walked in and we were greeted by 2 young ladies working up front that did a fantastic job giving great service. It wasn't very busy so we were served pretty quickly. I tried the Chicken Paitan Ramen. Very good, not to spicy, Chicken was tender, the sprouts and bamboo shoots worked well together. Another good thing was the portion size. I took half of it with me. Overall a very good experience. The vibe was very cool. It was the standard, eclectic Bend vibe. I liked they happened to be playing 70's disco, Motown music. I would say if you come to Bend, Miyagi Ramen is a must try. Then go shopping, go wine tasting there at The Box Factory. So a shout out to the ladies working on 7/16 for lunch. You did great. Next time we are in Bend we will come back for more ramen.

Service (7/10): you order at the cashier and then the server would bring your food to the table. You also grab your own utensils and waters so it was a lot of self service, which worked out for the better for this place because the staff seemed pretty busy. Overall the service was OK to me. Vibes (8/10): the inside looked pretty cool since they had a big wall with graffiti art and they had good music playing in the background so overall a good vibe. However, the place is kinda small so I wouldn't recommend for groups bigger than 6 imo. Parking: we came on a Tuesday afternoon and there was plenty of parking in the plaza to the right of the restaurant. My only concern for this place was that I saw one of the servers switching between taking orders at the register and preparing food with her bare hands without washing her hands in between nor wearing gloves during food preparation so that was a bit concerning for me.

The appetizer platter was good and gave a good selection of their appetizers, so if you enjoy an appetizer you could order more. The fried spring rolls came out hot and crispy and the sauce was good it was the type you can buy at the market, sweet chili sauce which is what most restaurants are using. The sushi rolls we had 5 different types of sushi's rolls, which was good, but for sushi you should order 1-2 rolls at a time and as it starts to get eaten, then order the next set. First if you order all at once hardly any room on the table and sushi should be eaten fresh right away and also there was so much left over and to eat it the next day is the worst way to eat sushi! Which is to say, quite passable. Beyond the fake chicken, the dish itself is very good. Bop sauce (in a separate tub) is tasty if a touch sweet. - Chinese cabbage salad: Excellent. I could eat this all day. - Bop dog: a Korean-inspired corn dog. The epitome of fusion, I guess. Pretty good with a nice panko coating. If you like corn dogs, you'll probably like it. - Beef bi-bim-bop (#1): Excellent. Well seasoned beef with very well done veggies and soft-boiled egg, including kim chi. Overall, I'd say Bop Culture has hit it out of the park in a town somewhat lacking in Asian-inspired cuisine (although it's getting better). Highly recommended.
