What a find! Thai 2 Go is super fresh and delicious at a reasonable price. I had the red curry with fried tofu (which is also available not fried), and the green beans and basil were crisp and fragrant, respectively. Others with me enjoyed the Panang Curry and Khao Soi with chicken. The menu is uncomplicated, in a perfect way. My order was prepared quickly and correctly. Wow, what a surprise! Finally living in Bend full time so I have been slowly searching for various styles of tasty food. Ambiance, well it's in the name Thai 2 Go, so there's minimal seating and no table service and a very limited menu. So you're not going to find a lot of stir fry or noodle dishes. It's a food truck in a building. That said, service is friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable and the dishes they do prepare are delicious. We had the green curry with chicken and the panang curry with fried tofu. The sauces were flavorful, the vegetables were wonderfully crisp and fresh not soggy and squishy. Chicken breast was cut in little bite size pieces but very tender, not dried out like so many other Thai places I've tried. The fried tofu squares were yummy. Rice looked a little so so as I dumped it out of the box but the consistency and flavor was great! I'm definitely looking forward to trying everything on their limited curry menu. read more

Thought I'd go check out the Midtown Yacht Club and get a bite to eat while waiting for my dog to get done at the vet. Having checked online before I went, I headed straight for Thai2Go hoping for a curry sort of pick me up. I was not disappointed - can't recall the name of the dish, but it was a mild green curry with chicken and coconut milk w/steamed rice on the side. It was just like Mamasan used to make in Saipan. The only thing was, after the first bite my mouth was watering way too much and the only way to make it stop was to shovel more in. A Thai iced coffee (with coconut milk of course) to go and I was satisfied. The ladies that work there were friendly and open to suggestions, I was confident that they knew what they were doing and still stand by that. Picked up an order of Panang Curry for dinner today and I'm honestly just feeling pretty annoyed. Annoyed because i've been living a block away for a year and the whole time I've been wasting my time making the trek and fighting the crowds for Thai downtown when this spot was waiting right on my doorstop. Happened across this take out restaurant while visiting Bend and it described exactly what I needed ... Thai food to go. So glad that I stopped in! Although I was disappointed this was a Thai restaurant without phad thai, the staff recommended I try Khao Soi (they're top selling dish). Thankful for the recommendation it was a creamy, crunchy noodle dish I really enjoyed. I also ordered spring rolls which were crunchy and light with a tasty plum dipping sauce. The staff were helpful and friendly, the restaurant was super clean and tidy. Despite a lot of ordering going on my food was ready very quickly and was piping hot! Tried for the first time today, limited menu (no noodle or fried rice dishes) mostly just curry. But curry was good! They also had spring rolls and gyoza for apps. Nothing is too spicy but they offer spice packets if you like the heat. Two men working were super friendly and helpful with deciding what to order. 4th day opened I just found out as I was ordering. Definitely a 5 stars from me. I had the yellow curry & rice with a Thai iced coffee. It was delicious!!! The menu was not too big and overwhelming it had the perfect amount of verities to choose from. This place has become my go to for Thai food. The owners where friendly . Super disappointing. I'll start with the good. My spring rolls were still hot and were very good. That's all I have for good, so on with the bad. My yellow curry with chicken (and the accompanying rice) were both cold by the time I finished my 10 minute drive home. There wasn't much sauce, mostly veggies. The sauce was pretty bland as these things go, lacking both color and flavor. But it was okay. The veggies were clearly not simmered in the sauce. The onions were raw; I do not like raw onions. You know those packages of julienned carrots you buy at the grocery store that are not super fresh? Yep, that's what they used and they were also still raw. Probably why the food was cold, they dropped a bunch of cold veggies in there. The potatoes were precooked and also not simmered in the sauce as they hadn't picked up any of the curry flavor. Also, there were tons of carrots and onion, but only a few chunks of potato. I get the yellow curry because I like the potatoes. Unsurprisingly, the chicken was also bland, having been thrown into the sauce without any simmering. I have dumped some more water and coconut milk and spices in there and am simmering it on the stove now. Hoping I can make this meal edible. Should have had saved my money and had toast for dinner instead. read more
