I'll never ever find another place as good as Thai cafe. I've been coming here with my parents for 20+ years. Love the relationship we've built with the staff they are such lovely people. You can't go wrong with anything in the menu. Whether you get curry, noodle soup, or any noodle dish you'll love it. The fried tofu, crispy friend spring rolls and fresh spring rolls are to die for. Love their dried chili flakes too. Any time I'm in Harrisonburg this is a must go to spot!

**VEGAN REVIEW** Great tasting food, large portions, fast service, and good prices. I know this looks like this was written by the owners, but it's true. Passing through on vacation and it's a mile from Candlewood Suites. So the location is good, too. Drunken noodle, and green curry were our main courses. For appetizers we had fried tofu and spring rolls.

Come on and give it a try! I guarantee you will not be disappointed! We were here in Harrisonburg and decided to give this place a try-thanks to the Yelp reviews! It is a small family business that delivers BIG flavor! Our food was excellent! We really enjoyed the spring rolls!! Crispy, hot and bursting with flavor! Our entrees were good as well! We had Panang curry and pad Thai. They were both really good!!

I came here for the first time based on YELP's previous reviews and I was blown away how jam-packed this little place was! We just walked in and found our own table, took the first empty one insight. We ordered a little hesitantly the Papaya Salad with shrimp for the first time and was totally blown away how delicious it was! I did not expect that burst of taste inside my mouth! So that was an excellent start! Ordered the Pad Thai with the combination of Pork and Chicken which I thought was a very generous serving! The food was served with the chopped peanuts on the side, I guess because some patrons do not like peanuts in their Thai food, I can't imagine a Thai main course without peanuts! The Pad Thai was good but not extraordinary! I am not sure but something was missing and I cannot seem to put my finger on it! I still thought it was delicious! There were plenty of spices and sauces on the table that I add to my exact liking! Towards the end, just before the billing, the owner noticed I did not get the usual Thai Tea that I had ordered at first when I got there, so I was pleasantly surprised when he quickly served me that Thai Tea FREE OF CHARGE! Now that is someone who is self-employed thinking long-term business! Just that one random act of kindness is going to keep bringing me back to this place when I visit Harrisonburg again! I highly recommend this place! Thank you Thai Cafe for the memories!

Great Thai food. Best Pad Thai I've had in a while and I've tried a lot of Pad Thai. Spring rolls with shrimp are great too.

If I could only eat one meal for the rest of my life it would be yellow curry from this establishment.

There was a heater, so we figured we could stand it. The hostess rearranged the tables to seat us close to the heater, and left menus. Soon a waitress came with water and took drink orders. Not long after she returned to take our food orders. While we were waiting for the food, someone brought us some warm blankets. All through our meal people kept checking to see whether we needed anything. It was the best service I have seen in a long time, and I arrange a bi-monthly lunch outing for a club I belong to. The food was delicious. The salmon sandwich was incredible, the burrata appetizer was to die for, and I wish everyone had such good French fries. Everyone enjoyed their food and the warm welcome from the staff on a not very warm day.

The space is urban chic with a moderate sized dining room and small bar. I would describe the menu as "upscale comfort". Elevated pork chop, meatloaf, pasta for example. At our table we ordered the swordfish nightly special, the wild mushroom pasta, the pork chops, and the potato croquette appetizer. All were beautifully plated and delicious. We also had two exceptional glasses of Chardonnay, and some beautiful cocktails. We enjoyed our evening. This is a great place for a special night out without needing to be fancy or fussy.

Simply put, the bodega breakfast sandwich might be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. I took it to eat on the road and was startled about how delicious it was. The freshly baked (you can tell) brioche bun with everything bagel seasoning on top added a great salty taste to go along with the tasty stuff inside. I've traveled all over the country for work for 20+ years, and like I said, this might be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! To top it off, the staff was super nice.

I think it was because they enjoyed working there. Or, at least it give them a chance to eat some really tasty food. I had their Cubano Tartine. That's kind of like an omelet with the ingredients of a Cubano sandwich, except for the roll, mixed in. (And yes, I get that the cooking process is a bit different.) ' Anyway, this Cubano Tartine shows up on a plate in front of me. I dig in and keep digging. The ingredients, ham, cheese, pickles, etc, were plentiful and delicious. They were sitting on an ample slice of their sourdough bread. That was the first issue. It was IMPOSSIBLE to cut. I guess I could have asked for a steak knife or maybe a power tool. But, there was so much other stuff that I was able to have a very filling meal without it. The other issue was that the lightly dressed side salad was doused in dressing. Again, didn't complain because, for me, it wasn't a problem during this visit. Issues aside, if I come back to Hagerstown, I'll look for an excuse to come back.
