I feel scam by those 5 star rating review. I don't care how good ir was from the original store. I went to the new one that they open, where location which share the kitchen with sandwich store. Kios machine is janky, no picture for most of the item. Inside feels hot and grumpy to seat in. Serve without actual plate. All with disposal plate. It really feel like the owner isn't ready to open a new store. Chicken is dry, the ginger sauce looks like some kind of left over sauce, taste very sour, chicken is dried, all over krispy. I wait like 30 minutes to get my food, feel bad for the person who order before me, I got the food before him. Like so disappointed, 4/5 star for this experience? It must be some kind of joke or the owner pays a lot for advertising. Fix the food and operation first before advertising!

Went to their old location only to find out they have moved to a new location. Got pad ka prow and chicken rice. I was hooked! Needless to say I'll be back.

Love the small mom-n-pop shop. Food is good quality and tasty and service is friendly. We tried the fried chicken and chicken rice plates and they were great. Clean taste which means clean oil and the chicken looked like it was broken down from whole as opposed to ordering for a supplier pre-broken down. Prices are on-par with nearby restaurants. Unfortunately located in a corner that can easily be missed but I wish this place success for a long time!

The fried chicken was really fresh and juicy which paired well with the taggy and sweet dipping sauce.

You won't accidentally stumble upon it unless you make an effort to seek it out. Despite this, it seems to be well known by locals and the seating area gets full at times. There is plenty of seating inside, and some outside. Outlets can be found it some tables. It's a good place to work with your laptop. It's mostly tables for 2. There's a larger communal table, and some counter seating. Parking can be difficult. There's a small area in the parking garage for "guest" parking. It's almost always full and you will depend on luck to find one spot there or arrive in time when someone is leaving their spot. There is no parking on most of the surrounding streets, except for the small section of the road that curves underneath Lawrence. And that part is often full of parked cars. It can be frustrating and this parking situation will easily drive away customers to find somewhere else with easier parking. If you're fortunate enough to get parking, you will find that Coffeebar offers a decent coffee menu, baked goods, and some food if you need more than a snack. The people working behind the counter have all been very friendly and helpful. Their Chocolate Croissant is HUGE!!! They'll ask if you want it warmed up. Definitely do this. It is delicious slightly warmed up. I have tried their Iced Chai Latte, which was just OK. It lacked the spice I was expected from a chai, and felt a bit too milky. I prefer their Iced Caramel Latte, which is much better than the Chai. Next time I will try their Mocha.

Of their drinks on the menu, white champaca, white champaca oolong, dancong, white champaca matcha are the top drinks I cycle through. Although they recommend 70%, I actually prefer 30% sweetness, less ice. Truly brings out the tea flavor. This location had a new drink Camellia during the LNY. However, I have not seen it on the menu since March. Hopefully they'll bring it back. They now have order online via their website (chowbus), and I recently learned that they have an app. This makes ordering drinks at this location easy since it is located in corner strip mall with minimal parking.

The Sunnyvale location opened in late 2024 as its first West Coast location, there was a crazy long line that I witnessed during opening week. Molly Tea recently got into some legal trouble with Louis Vuitton in China over its four-petal floral logo. LV won the case, and Molly Tea was ordered to pay about RMB 10.3 million. Molly Tea plans to appeal. Anyway, I actually really like the tea here. The jasmine flavor comes through nicely, and I like that the sweetness isn't overpowering. Definitely a nice milk tea spot in Sunnyvale!

It's a bit of a mixed bag depending on what you get. The lychee milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice was a 6.5 because you can barely taste the lychee, it was very faint and just tasted like a regular milk tea. The da hong pao milk tea with 25% sugar and less ice was also a 6.5 since it had a really strong herbal taste that I wasn't a huge fan of. The best one was definitely the ceylon cheese milk tea at 25% sugar. It was way more creamy and rich than the others so I'd give that a 6.9.
