    Crispy pad Thai
    Paola C.

At first I was hesitant to order take out because of the recent low reviews I had read regarding food and service. But, I decided to take a chance because I thought the price was really great compared to most places. So I ordered on crispy chicken pad Thai, chicken satay, and pork dumpling soup through GrubHub. I was given about an hour estimate for my delivery, but I had my food in my hands in just about a 30 minutes. It was EXACTLY what I was craving!! The crispy chicken pad Thai was delicious. Large chunks of peanuts and scallions, lots of chicken, and plenty of rich sauce. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the noodles. They were chopped, crispy egg noodles that were really nicely cooked. The chicken satay comes in four pieces and are large chunks of grilled chicken. It comes with I side of peanut sauce and a cucumber carrot dipping sauce. I also ordered a dumpling soup - in the description it says it's a sake-spy broth. The broth was amazing. All in all, with a good tip it ended up being less than $30 with more than half of it to spare, so I'll end up eating it for dinner too. If you're looking for a good Thai place I absolutely recommend this place. The food is fantastic and full of flavor and the service was great as well. To top it off, awesome prices. This may just be my new Thai place!

Beef satay was delicious. The marinade is perfect. The cuts of meat were really thick too. The ga pao chicken is decent. I think it's made with that dark sweet soy sauce though which isn't typical. It makes it sweet-ish which really changes the flavor. It doesn't taste bad, it's just different. I'll try something different next time I'm in the area. This is a takeaway only place.

As I walked in, it gave me Thailand vibes (being that I just came back from there a few months ago) the smells automatically triggered a good nerve. It's small but thankfully I was doing takeout and the restaurant wasn't packed. But those phones were going off (that was a good sign). The lovely lady at the from was very helpful. I asked if the food was authentic Thai food and she assured me it was. I ordered, Grapao Sub (pork my favorite dish! ) Shrimp donut, and Tom Yum Fried Rice (new item). All well worth it and very flavorful! I wanted mango sticky rice but they said they were all out. Even though the had a ton of mangos at the counter for sale or decorations, IDK... kind of disappointed with that but overall, great service, delicious food! Definitely will go there again. Thai ice tea - not overly sweet light and creamy after you mix it. Green Thai iced tea - more tea flavor shown thru this version i enjoyed this too! Larb chicken - amazing dish i really liked it, only comment would be maybe the minced protein toss some bigger diced chunks in too to soak up that cr*ck sauce! Basil chicken fried rice - spicy good flavor overall and chicken was plenty. I sort of was hoping they would have the signature like basil spice "glaze/sauce" they could do like other spots for basil dishes but they did not. It's good how it is though but if i was to get crispy chicken - def would need a sauce for my taste anyways. Red curry with salmon creamy extra spicy (you can choose spice level) salmon was cooked well in here and the flavor broth went so well soaked in the white rice! Bbq pork skewers - like your friends bbq where their folks went all out. Shoot perfect drinking food. Nampla chicken wings- really good fish sauce base wings! As a viet i love this style chicken wing. Glad we went with these over the fried batter version! Free shrimp crackers while you wait. Crying Tiger and their other sister shops all do well i feel. For your money, you get full and the foods good.

We walked into a dining room that was on the smaller side, giving it a more intimate and casual atmosphere, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than elaborate decor. The menu offered a mix of familiar Thai favorites alongside house specialties that were harder to find elsewhere, and the steady flow of customers reflected its reputation as a spot that puts most of its attention into the cooking. The dishes were the highlight of our visit. Everything tasted freshly prepared with well-balanced flavors, and the menu offered plenty of variety depending on whether we wanted noodles, curry, grilled meats, or appetizers to share. The curries were especially rich and flavorful, with a depth that came through clearly, while the noodle dishes had a good balance of seasoning without feeling overly heavy. There were also several house specialties that helped set the restaurant apart from a typical neighborhood Thai spot. We appreciated that the portions were generous for the price, making it easy to order a few dishes to share, and the variety made it worthwhile to try more than just one entrée. The Thai iced tea paired well with the meal and was a refreshing contrast to some of the spicier dishes. The service was friendly throughout our visit, and the food came out at a reasonable pace. Since the restaurant is fairly small, it could feel a little crowded during busy meal times, and there may be a wait depending on when you visit. It is worth planning around peak hours if you prefer a quieter dining experience. The staff handled the flow efficiently, and the pacing of the meal stayed comfortable even as the dining room filled up. Overall, Crying Thaiger Rustic Thai Kitchen is a great choice for flavorful Thai food with generous portions and a menu that offers more than the standard classics. Between the quality of the food, reasonable prices, and welcoming atmosphere, it is a place we would happily return to whenever we are craving Thai cuisine.
