    Spring rolls
    Amy S.

We have ordered carry-out a few times but this time we did dine-in with another couple. The service was wonderful. The restaurant was not too loud that we were able to carry on a conversation. Food was wonderful. Spring Roll - delicious but did not care for the sauce that came with - too sweet. Curry puff - excellent - again,, we didn't care for the sauce. PAD SEE-EW with veggies- veggies were good but not much flavor. Drunken noodle- good PANANG CURRY with chicken- good CRYING TIGER - something different but good TC SPICY DUCK - wow. Great chice. Must have. Ka prow chicken- very good. TC SPICY CATFISH - great flavor. Overall a great dining experience.

12.27.24 Friendly service but mixed reviews on the food. The spring rolls were good. I ordered the beef pad see ew. The noodle was cooked perfectly, however, the beef was chewy and slightly overcooked.

I didn't realize I didn't take a pictures if the food! But the food was so good! We went when it was about to close.

The service was lovely and the food came out really fast. I'll definitely be coming back here.

Pretty great Thai spot in the neighborhood! My favorite was the drunken noodle. Their food is well seasoned, good portion and good price. We got a mango sticky rice for dessert too and loved that as well. Fresh mangos and the rice was good, not too coconut-y which I don't love so much. Service was fast, servers / owners were very nice. They were very attentive, pleasant. I would definitely be back if I'm in the neighborhood

This was my and my moms first time dining here. Our service level was exceptional and I definitely applaud the lady who seemed to be hosting and serving all by herself! The utensils, plates, tables, seemed to be very clean which is very huge for my mom and me! The spring rolls were okay... probably not something I personally would order again. It had too little filler. The dipping sauce was quite interesting, I found it pleasant! Kind of sweet but I like it! Pad thai is one of my favorite dishes and I found this one good... if I were to come back, I'd come back and get the shrimp instead. The chicken was a tad dry and the noodles very chewy? Not sure if that's the right word... I thought the portion of the pad Thai was great. Me and my mom finished it together and we both left feeling nice and filled. They are very generous with the toppings they put in the pad thai... lots of chicken, eggs, bean sprouts, etc.

Chicken satay as an appetizer! Sooo good

Is this the same owner as Thai Cuisine in Rockville?

I believe so. I didn't ask but they have signs that made me think the two were related. Never went to the one in Rockvill, so I don't know if that is good or bad.

It's so comforting and filling that I always feel like I need a nap afterward! The rich, spicy broth has the perfect kick that lingers in the back of your throat, and the lemongrass flavor is incredibly satisfying. It has just the right amount of noodles and tender beef, and it's even topped with crispy fried pork skins that add the perfect crunch. If you enjoy spicy food, this is definitely a dish you need to try. The food comes out fairly quickly, so don't be surprised if your appetizer and entrée arrive around the same time. I don't mind because everything is so delicious, but it's something to keep in mind if you like to pace your meal.

After hearing good things about this place years ago, I finally gave it a try. My wife and I…read morestopped in earlier today for dinner. We were greeted and seated relatively quickly and looked over the menu at our table. We asked the waitress if they had fish cakes, since we saw pictures of them on Yelp from this place. She didn't say anything, just pointed at something completely different on the menu. My wife repeated "fish cakes," and she pointed at the chive cakes. It looks like they used to serve them and took them off. That's a simple question with a simple answer, but instead of just saying that, she pointed at a menu twice and made it feel like we were bothering her. We started with the larb chicken and it was good. Limey, strong fish sauce, a little spicy, good contrasting textures. All good things. It's also the only thing I took a picture of, since by that point the experience had started to sour. For entrees, my wife got the boat noodles and I got the krapow. I asked the server to confirm the chicken was ground and she said yes. It came out sliced. Turns out the ground chicken version is on the menu as Chop-Chop Basil, but I was unfamiliar with the menu. It was an easy thing for her to correct but she didn't. I didn't make a thing of it, but it was annoying. I only had a bite of the boat noodles, but it was good. Nice balance of savory with a touch of sweetness. The meatballs were soft and bouncy, the meat was tender, good textures all around. The krapow was very good, mix-up aside. I asked for Thai spicy and they delivered. Excellent flavor, very tender meat, not too sweet. Probably one of the better krapows I've had out here. The part that really soured it was overhearing the manager with another table. An elderly couple and a friend had asked for their vegetables cooked well done since they can't chew firm food. They sent it back saying it was still too firm. The manager came out and basically yelled at them, saying they'd already cooked it longer than usual and couldn't cook it any more, and that next time he'd just put it in a blender. The couple had been nothing but kind about the whole thing. The kitchen did end up cooking it longer, but he never came back out to check if it was actually satisfactory. Maybe that isn't required, but the whole thing read like he was annoyed with them. The food here is excellent, easily five stars on its own. I'm docking a star for service. It was rude how they spoke to the elderly customers, rude to point silently at a menu instead of just saying the fish cakes are gone, and frustrating to be told the meat was ground when it wasn't. I'm not sure I can go back and dine in because it felt like we were a nuisance the whole time. I'll probably do carry out from now on. The inside is small and quaint and it looks like it gets busy around dinner, so come early if you want a table.

I wasn't 100% sure what kind of burrito I was getting, but it turned out to be a sushi burrito wrapped in seaweed and rice. They had a bunch of tofu options, and basil tofu was mouthwatering. There wasn't a lot of customization on the online ordering, but truthfully I would have struggled to do better than the mix of crisp carrots, savory panko, and cool lettuce, among other things that rounded out the burrito. I will say the tea wasn't as good; overly sweet for me. But I haven't had an Asian burrito that good since the poke bowl place I used to frequent in New Orleans before the COVID era.

We've had the Drunken noodles before and they are consistently good. The fried rice, my first time for this dish, was very good. Three large shrimp, chicken, chunks of pineapple and some veggies with a very tasty rice. Yum. One disappointment today that I think is worth mentioning. We routinely get the Tom Yum soup and it is one of my favorite things here. Today, the broth tasted like sriracha sauce. My partner agreed. The manager came over and asked how things were. I told her that I was disappointed in the soup, and asked if they had changed their recipe. I told her that we routinely get this item as a favorite, and that it normally has a complex flavor of spices and this time tastes like simple sriracha. She asked if we wanted a different soup. I told her no, that this is our favorite soup and that we get it every time and it's just disappointing this time. She said it probably had too much chili paste put into it and that she'd talk to the head chef. And that was the end of it. Never heard another word or saw her again. When the check came, the charge for the soup was still on the bill. I'm deducting a point from my 5-point scores in the past because I'm disappointed that the manager acknowledged there was a problem but still charged for the soup.
