Denny's is definitely not my "go to" when it comes to dining out. My 15-year-old had been under the weather for a couple of days and I said we can go wherever you'd like... she immediately replied, "Denny's?" I agreed. This was our first time at this location. They had a steady flow of clientele and the restaurant was pretty clean. We were seated promptly and served our drinks right away. Looking over the menu, it was obviously Denny's. My daughter ordered breakfast at dinner time; it looked good. I ordered a sandwich with seasoned fries, it looked okay, and it only tasted okay. The saving grace was the quick service; although our server didn't check back with us once we got our food, that is, until he dropped the check. I hate it, I really never post a bad review so here goes. It was a Saturday morning, well around 10:30am. My husband and I got sat on the side of the kitchen. We ordered breakfast and our drinks at the same time. The food took 40 minutes to get to our table. But first our Cokes were horrible, like it was down to just a little bit left in the box. Our cups were on the end of the table for at least 10 minutes, for the waitress to notice, it was as if she was deliberately ignoring us. No biggie, but then finally we had to call out to her. To get her to change it. And as if she was slammed ( which she was not, she just went back and stood at the cooks window) she had another waitress walk it the 100 foot to our table. She never came back to check on how our meal was or if we needed anything else to drink. She seemed to spend most of her time at the cooks window! We stacked our plates at the end of the table and waited for our check. Finally I had to say excuse me, and was completely ignored again! So we got up to go and wait at the register and the waitress ( using that term loosely) runs our check to us. Worst Service ever! And I've had slow and at times not great service at this location in the past but the service was never bad enough to do a review to warn others of the crappy dinning experience we had . Dennys please train your help!! I can say the food at-least mine was good as it should have been for a 40 minute wait when they were not busy at all. The ambiance was kind of an uneasy for me as we felt as we were being ignored. With everything being said, I've had groups get together at this location in the past. Dennys, oh Dennys. I wanted to love my experience, but couldn't. And neither could anyone else... Here's what happened: we walked in, sat down and we were notified that since the restaurant was "busy" it might take just a bit longer for service. Please. There were a TON of empty booths. And my opinion is, the restaurant should never be busy. If you're going to have that many tables, you should always be prepared to serve that number of tables. Then we waited at least twenty minutes to order DRINKS. Took a while to get those, and then we ordered after. After we ordered we waited 45. MINUTES. To get our food. That shouldn't happen. After we finally got most of our food, some of it was missing. They kept bringing the rest one by one with like 5 minutes in between. My grandma ordered crispy bacon, and it was the farthest from crispy. And the toast had so much butter on it, it looked like cheese. Some people even walked out before they ordered, and there was this poor ubereats driver that was on the phone with ubereats customer service or sm and he was on about how he was there for an hour and hadn't got his food, and he only earned 5 DOLLARS from that order. Everyone was basically looking around like bro where on earth is my food? The food was great, but was it worth a whole hour of waiting? No way. I felt so bad for those workers who were getting yelled at because it wasnt their fault. But I think the craziest part was that we didn't get a single apology. Took our sailor here when visiting NAS this past weekend. When we pulled up there was a homeless man at one of the doors begging for money. We parked the car next to what turned out to be a van with homeless people, which I realized after exiting my vehicle and stepping in their urine. When entering we were told it would take 45 minutes to get our food, which we were fine with, but did not expect for it to arrive uncooked. Our table and benches were filthy and server, Elise, looked as if she had not brushed her teeth in years. We sent back some of the food to be cooked more, but my ham on the Moons Over My Hammy was dried out. I recommend you get the police to clear out your parking lot, fire everyone and start from scratch. read more

Watching the grill operator putting his bare hands on my food and taking 20 minutes to cook 3 items and watching all the employees walking outside doing god knows what makes me wonder what kind of establishment is being ran here. Waited for my order for over 40min this morning mobile highway Denny's in Pensacola. I had to apologize to my doordash customer. Two cooks, four waitresses, and then and only did they start making the food when the customer called the restaurant after thirty five minutes of waiting to let the mgr know that I was an actual doordasher and he would really like his breakfast for himself disabled and his son. Veteran's Day 2025 Gave one star because the eggs were properly cooked. Now for the rest: 1. Waitress (Crystal) seemed very put out and rude because we were there, never came back to the table after bringing our food 2. Toast was brought several minutes after the entree and was burnt, had to ask for jelly. 3. Bacon was limp, undercooked. Manager brought more because waitress was nowhere to be found. 4. Holes on the salt shakers from three different tables were clogged, not working. 5. Coffee tasted old, too strong. No spoon provided to stir it. 6. No glass of water brought. I decided to switch it up this past weekend and gave Denny's a try. I've b hooked on Waffle House for a while and needed some change. I was seated back towards the restrooms and immediately noticed an odor, kinda smelled like a nursing home. I couldn't figure out if it was the booth I was sitting in or bathroom, either way, it smelled like urine where I was seated. I even switched sides of the booth and still smelled it. I almost embarrassed to say this, I still had breakfast here and it was actually good. This particular Denny's needs to give the place a thorough wipe down and stay on top of the bathrooms. Definitely my last time eating here. It's a shame Because the food was good, I just can't stomach the smell. read more

Got a customer reward for $10 off $30 but it wouldn't work online so I called the order in. Get to the restaurant in 20 minutes although I was quoted order would be ready in 15. Hostess said it's for dine-in only so when I pulled up the details, it stated online or in store so she went to ask and discovered she had to scan it. I still tipped 18% and took a seat. A whole hour after order placed and still no food. I asked another hostess a possible timeline because if it was going to be too long, I was going to cancel my order but all she kept saying was "they are working on it" but thats not a time period. The first time I went to Denny's years ago at a different location I wasn't too impressed. I basically swore off Denny's as a whole and that wasn't fair. All I can say is after visiting this location for breakfast I've been missing OUT! Honestly we only chose to eat at Denny's because our favorite breakfast spot had a long wait time. Arriving at Denny's we were seated promptly, a party of three. The hostess actually took our drink order so we didn't have to wait for the server. However the server arrived before our drinks did, fast service. The server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the ultimate omelette with a side of sour cream, breakfast potatoes and cinnamon pancakes. The price was right, the portion size was filling and the food was yummy. This maybe my new go to breakfast spot! The only disappointment was that they were out of a lot of food items on the menu. There was no steak or burgers available at the time. The only options were the breakfast items and chicken dishes. Hopefully next time we'll have access to the entire menu. read more

This place offered a burger den after midnight , in it was so freaking terrible like how you forget to put meat on a burger . A terrible excuse of restaurant, yall deserve to be shut down or fire staff that doesn't know what there doing . $20 bucks. The food was trash. The American cheese on my omelet was cold. The ham in the omelet was room temp. The hash browns were burnt. The crepe was soggy, runny and gross. The toast was previously frozen and it just snapped in half, drenched in butter. Do these cooks have no pride in what they put out and how can servers serve this stuff? How do they expect to make tips w/ food like this? Management, get it together. This Denny's is rated 2.5 stars. If I were manager there, I'd achieve to get that much higher. Things have gotten so expensive today. There's no reason to serve garbage to customers coming in. Fire your cook or tell them to step it up. All I can say is Wow but not in a good way. With all businesses suffering because they cant hire enough people that want to work, the only thing they can do is try to service the heck outta the customers that walk through their door. That being said...this Denny's clearly doesn't care. Had 3 people in the party. We were sat quickly. That is where our service ended...we counted at least 6 employees (not including the kitchen staff). After 15 mins of being ignored we left...no drinks were provided and no acknowledgement that we were even there by the server in that section. If you want food go elsewhere. Ordered delivery at 10:08 this morning. It is now 11:46 and still no food. It is supposed to be delivered via Doordash but they have no control to get my $ back. I have called the local restaurant MANY times and they will not answer. I called Dennys 800 number and they only answer the phone Monday thru Fridays! This is an awful experience! Our Dasher is currently trying to get my $ refunded through the restaurant as she is still sitting there but I have little faith that this will be done! My favorite place to go for breakfast, and the server made it all worthwhile. The food is also great. The place is newly renovated and is very accommodating. The waitress (Angela), is the best. Very rude wait staff. The bigger the person the bigger the hate. Cooks are lost the place is nasty. Not all surfaces get wiped down. I stood there for a long time and instead of calling for someone to help me they just proceeded with their conference. Terrible attitude for a manager.
