Can't go wrong with Thai Deli, food is fresh to order and delicious! My favorite combo is Chili Shrimp and the Pad Thai! Cash only!

#1-chicken teriyaki w/ double green salad. Very tasty

Located in a very small strip mall across the street from White Memorial Hospital, this small restaurant serves some of the most delicious food anywhere in Los Angeles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is EXTREMELY popular, as evidenced by the number of customers who came and went with food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My family and I sat in our car while we had lunch, and we counted 29 customers who entered the restaurant during a fifteen-minute period[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is clearly posted on the walls in front and behind the counter. All employees are very friendly, efficient, and hard-working; the prices are GREAT for the portion sizes; the food is perfectly prepared and DELICIOUS!! Parking is very limited in the small private parking lot. Street parking is also available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are no tables or seating inside the restaurant, so be prepared to pick up your order and go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is definitely a place to visit and worth the drive, regardless of where you live.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Hole in a wall, more of a grab and go spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I can see why it gets busy during lunch rushes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely need to stop by more for lunch. #25 Pad Se Ew -so flavorful and a bang for your buck! You can really taste the wok heat. Noodles were bouncy. Saucy but not too wet. We ordered with shrimp. Shrimp was fresh, crisp with a snap. What more can you ask for. #8 Korean BBQ Beef & Thai BBQ Chicken -beef was a little chewier than I prefer but still really flavorful and tender enough. Chicken was juicy and well marinated. Chicken curry was good but not the best. I would stick to their other dishes.

Tasty food with large portions at a great price $ I ordered the Thai bbq chicken plate. It comes with fried rice and a salad, paired with the sweet sauce they use chef's kiss! I placed a large order for 8 ppl and the service was incredible. The gentleman that answered the phone was so helpful. The inside is small and parking can get tough so i recommend order for take out/pick up

Good food, great prices, pickup only, cash only. Start with the # 1, go double mac if you don't like burger toppings as salad (I don't mind it). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interior leaves a little too be desired, but I'm there to pickup my lunch & go, so....[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]‍ Parking in the lot can be chaotic, best if you have a pal to circle the block while you go in to get the food. Staff is very focused & do their best to be friendly while very busy. I usually call in about 15 min ahead, but it can take longer when real busy.

Located in a small plaza with a tricky one way parking lot lies a diamond in the rough. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As you enter , your eyes get lost in the big pictured, outdated menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sound & smell of grill marks becomes intoxicating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A cop walks in, your body tenses up. "NEXT! How may I help you?"Breaks you away from your trance. I love this place! CASH ONLY. No dine in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very busy due to deliciousness.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] pager provided so you can chill in your car until your order is ready. I advise calling in your order if you are in a rush. Egg rolls are a must try, you will find yourself willing to sit in rush hour traffic for the crunch itself ‍

Is it Thai? Is it Deli? It's neither and both all at once. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It speaks for itself when you roll into the parking lot of a shopping plaza and they have a security guiding cars in and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hawaiian style Mac salad short ribs with healthy amounts of meat and perfectly seasoned and cooked chicken. Too much food for one sitting I killed the Mac salad and some of the protein in the most popular #8, and made a meal out of the Leftover by adding some broccoli. Also had the beef pad see ew and was also delicious. A new favorite, [[HIGHLIGHT]]Call ahead and go with a partner to jump out and take your food to go to a nearby park and enjoy some of that LA sunshine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] CASH ONLY and a great value.

As always, delicious food. Even better... Now they offer a matcha green tea, which is an absolute favorite of mine! They also offer party trays but you have to ask them about it and how much. We called in ahead and got a half order of short ribs, some pad see ew and macaroni on the side and we had a feast. Only downside is cash only if they would only take zelle, this place would be perfect.

Chow mein is 10/10z it has so much flavor that you don't need soy sauce. I called to order and it was ready on time. The short ribs are so good. Mac salad is different than ono Hawaiian bbq but still good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is tiny and no where to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's chicken in Thai style marinade sauce. I'd like to call it yellow chicken because I use curry powder as one of the main ingredient.

My wife and I decided to try the famous #19, and the cashier also recommended the #44. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed both sandwiches, but the #44 ultimately came out on top. We both prefer a toasted sandwich, and the tangy flavor from the sauerkraut was a better fit for our tastes than the coleslaw on the #19. One tip: definitely ask for a side of their Russian dressing, as the #44 doesn't come with any sauce, and it takes the sandwich to another level. Nothing succeeds like excess. In fact, most people will need a take out box for one less meal to cook. Delicatessen means delicate eating in German, but at a Jewish American Delicatessen, the emphasis is on the Eating, which I am not complaining. 1) I requested an off menu item of having a Reuben sandwich where half is Corned Beef and the other Pastrami. Brent's Reuben has warm Sauerkraut, grilled Rye bread, melted Swiss Cheese, 1,000 Island dressing. Thinly sliced, multi-layered Mound of Pastrami is a bit on the dry side. Curing doesn't create a deep meaty Umami and spicing is present but attenuated. The Corned Beef is moister with bit more Umami & plush, thin multi-layered red colored meat. I have to say the Pastrami at Langer's is cured more intensely to bring out a deep Umami as well as more complex and complementary spicing of especially warm spiced cloves that adds aromatic richness. Brent's Pastrami doesn't seem to reach that kind of apotheosis. 1b) I asked for the steak fries to be fried two minutes longer for a crisper finish which was honored. Not much in way of that distinctive potato earthiness, but acceptable. 1c) Coleslaw is mayonnaise based, watery, bland, but a good cruciferous, fibrous veggie to add more fibre, healthful phytochemicals to counter the meat overload even though it isn't flavourful 2) Carrot Cake is closer to a delicate, dense, moist spice cake. A slice is enormous since it is cut from an extra tall cake studded with crushed walnuts and a cream cheese like not too sweet frosting. At $14 it could feed 4 people. Service is fine. They take your order and run with it. Bit of tunnel vision where it may be a bit hard to flag them down. But the job does get done. Overall 3+ stars

I stopped in just before the lunch rush--a good strategy, especially on a Dodgers game day--and everything clicked from the moment I walked in. The first thing that caught my eye was Elizabeth carving lamb right off the bone and building my French Dip sandwich in front of me. That's not theater; that's the way they've done it for years, and I loved every minute of it. The lamb dip was outstanding, just as I remembered. Add a crisp pickle, a side of coleslaw, and a Miller Genuine Draft, and you've got a lunch that doesn't need any fancy introductions. The sawdust on the floor may be gone, but the personality certainly isn't. Philippe's still feels like old Los Angeles. People share tables, strike up conversations, and enjoy a meal without anyone rushing them out the door. Then there's something you almost never find downtown anymore--free parking. That's worth mentioning all by itself. Could I explain why I'm giving Philippe's five stars? I suppose I could. But when you have friendly people like Elizabeth, a fresh lamb dip made right in front of you, reasonable prices, free parking, and more than a century of Los Angeles history, what more could you ask for? You may have seen this review, or a version of it, in one of the local publications I write for. I always pay for my own meals, and my opinions are my own.

Keep in mind they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. While you can order online, I'll always choose to go inside so I can browse everything they have to offer. Their selection of fresh pasta salads is fantastic, and the desserts are always tempting. Whether you're craving lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, a chicken Parmesan sandwich, or one of their many other Italian specialties, you really can't go wrong. Be sure to check out the wine section in the back left of the market. It's extensive and absolutely incredible! This is the kind of place that keeps people coming back year after year, and it's easy to see why. Being Italian American and growing up with an Italian mother who loved feeding everyone, this was one of our favorite places to visit together. Those memories make every trip here even more special. My personal favorite is the Godmother sandwich--hands down one of the best you'll ever have. It's packed with flavor, made with quality ingredients, and it's the sandwich I find myself craving every time I come back. One of the things I love most about this place is the atmosphere. It has an energy that immediately makes you think of family. Everyone is genuinely kind, welcoming, and happy to help, making you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door.
