I've been looking for a good teriyaki place and came across Sushito Teriyaki Grill. I called in a to go order for two beef teriyaki bowls, and to my surprise, the person taking my order told me they were running a buy two bowls, get one free special. The bowls were $10 each, and I added steamed vegetables for about $1.50 more. The portions were generous and very filling. The white rice was sticky, and the beef was thinly sliced with a nice char. The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice crunch without being overcooked. The teriyaki sauce was really good. They also included spicy mayo and sriracha, and after drizzling both over the bowl with the teriyaki sauce, the flavors were so good. It was a really delicious meal. I usually don't like eating leftovers, but I'm actually looking forward to eating the third bowl we got for free. The restaurant is small with just a few tables and chairs for dining in. Customer service was great. Parking is street parking only, which can be difficult when it's busy. read more

So it was a Friday and I know I typically go out to eat with my coworkers, but I had to work through lunch. So by the time I was free, I figure I would get myself some ramen. I found Sushito and was excited, as they had a Tonkotsu Ramen. Maybe it was my mistake to order it to go, but they did pack it right in terms of having the broth packed separately to not over due the noodles. The broth was thick and rich looking, but something wasn't what I was expecting. It tastes a bit peppery, not like a black garlic Tonkotsu Ramen. So I felt it was just missing that little extra flavor to be more satisfying. Some may enjoy it, as it wasn't bad, but I was expecting a bit more. The pork was Smokey, with a nice flavor, and a bit of fat. Although it had a bit of dryness to it. The flavor makes me think that their meat dishes may be the better choice next time. Checked this place out for the first time after seeing they offered a tofu bowl (as a vegetarian). I was glad to see they had other veggie options but ultimately went with the tofu bowl and I was not disappointed. The tofu was grilled to perfection with a great subtle charred taste to it. It came with a good serving of squash, carrots, and broccoli. The bowl was as very filling. All of the employees were friendly and welcoming to everyone who came in. First of all parking sucks and the place is small and intimate. Immediately greeted but what i assume is either the owner or a manager, very friendly nonetheless. Saw this place was down the street from Lac general hospital and had to give it a try. Got the mar y tierra roll which was 8/10 because to many flavors were clashing would've been better off with the Mexican roll. The chiles gueros are a 10/10 it's spicy, creamy and flavorful. I also got a teriyaki beef bowl and a chicken one both were great definitely 10/10! Ordered a jazhmin tea that is made in house and the guy gave me some more so that people at my office can try and everybody loved it. Will definitely come back for all my teriyaki needs! read more

Discovered Sushito while walking into our optometrist office a block down. We were genuinely curious & even though we should try it soon. Same day, we did a Google search and looked at the menu. The menu is not just sushi but includes teriyaki bowls that you can add your fav protein. Either chicken, beef, fish. Shrimp, tofu, or veggies. They also have teriyaki plates with is bigger than the bowls. They also have bento boxes. Ramen, & orange chicken. The menu includes burgers & fries so Sushito is not only sushi but a really good place to get other items you crave. We finally decided to try them but we ordered take out & my husband picked it up. The bowls are amazing! They give you this creamy chipotle sauce that pairs well with the rice and protein. We haven't ordered anything else but so far so good we love it & we love that on Tuesdays they have a special but 2 bowls get the 3rd free. Bowls are about 8 bucks which is pretty good. My husband says the restaurant is small so it's not a good place for big groups. The restaurant is clean and the service from the employees is great. Looking forward to trying new items. read more

Okay everyone let's break this place down! It's called Sushito Teriyaki Grill. I've heard whispers about this small hole in the wall!! I decided to finely check it out. I was somewhat confused when I entered. It's a very very low key no drama place. I found the food to be absolutely wonderful. It was very surprising how good the meal turned out. It's run and owned by a very friendly person who has worked with some of the top chefs in the city. He learned everything from the ground floor up. I was very impressed with the size of each of my orders. I started with tuna sashimi and edamame. Then ordered a spicy tuna roll and a California roll. I wanted to try these staples to judge how well they taste. All of my meal was extremely good. The fish is very high quality and you can really taste the difference from other sushi places I've tried. The portion size was extremely large and an amazing value for the money. All I can say is you won't be disappointed please don't let the decor put you off because the food truly shines. The service is top notch and the food arrives quickly. As I said before it's owner operated and the food is made with LOTS OF LOVE. It's been open going on it's third year and I'm sure it's here to stay. I'm not from this Neighborhood but it's clear watching all the locals coming in and leaving with large platters to take home. It has seating for approximately 15 people indoors. The chicken is tasty as it is charbroiled. The inside is a bit narrow/small, so I haven't had a chance to eat inside. I've gotten my food to go. A fantastic hole-in-the-wall, Asian-Mexican fusion joint. Was looking for something quick to eat during my lunch break and saw that this place had an almost 5 star rating, so I had to check it out. Guess what-- it checks out. :) I realized while reading the menu that I'd never had a fried sushi roll before so I wanted to try it out. I ordered the Mexican Roll and a side of gyoza and I was pretty scrumptious. The gyoza was perfectly crunchy and flavorful, and the Mexican roll was surprisingly tasty with a good texture. It came with a spicy mayo sauce and sautéed onions which was a nice touch. Service was fast, great, and polite. The only issue was finding parking in the area since it's on a busy street, but I found a spot after a couple trips around the block. I'll be back to try some other items in the future. read more

Only edible thing was rice and teriyaki chicken (then again that is hard to mess up ) place is real small only one table seating the rest is high chair and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly but I'm rating the actual food not the staff- them being friendly doesn't make up for the quality of food. Sorry not sorry.
