It doesn't look like it'll be great. BUT the inside atmosphere is intimate, soothing, and inviting. The moment you walk in you smells like a lemon scent very calming. It's aesthetically pleasing, and they are very attentive. It's BYOB, they don't accept American Express, and they had a lot on the menu. I ordered seafood pad Thai medium spicy. IT WAS DELICIOUS. I was in the mood for a papaya salad and this was the only Thai open at this time (8 pm). The outside sign was very inviting, even though it's a small place. The place can use some renovation but it's comfortable and the owners are very nice. The papaya salad was very good but too spicy for just little spicy. Excellent, and off the main roads in the area. We had done some shopping in the morning and didn't want mall food or crowds. Thai Diner is about 3 miles from Lehigh Valley Mall, on a fairly quiet street, glad we made the short trip. I had panang curry, medium hot, it was spot on. My wife had chicken with vegetables, she liked it as well. The lunch specials come with a small salad that has an Asian dressing. Diner is a good description of the interior, the furnishings are pretty much what you'd see at a diner. No alcohol, but BYOB. I prefer that, not only because it costs less, but restaurants that don't serve alcohol have to do a great job with food. Will definitely go back when we're in the area. read more

This hole in the wall serves great food. I try everything but the pad prik chicken with extra veggies is the ultimate. They do have spice levels of 1-4. 3 is intense but 2 is how I like it. Great portions and the chef will work with you on how you like it. read more

After seeing a few good reviews we decided to check out the local little Thai restaurant. When we came in it was empty so we got a table right away. The server was attentive & very friendly. Stopped in for dinner at around 8:00. Glad they were still serving. Last time I stopped, it was about 8:30, and they had closed the dining room and were only doing takeout. They have new menus since the last time I was here. The biggest change seems to be the price. They still have typical Thai restaurant food, noodles, stir fry, fried rice, etc. They also have chef's specials. This are on the more expensive side, with many at $23. The more standard item run mostly in the $13-$15 range, depending of the protein choice. I had Pineapple Fried Rice, with pork. The food was very tasty, with a decent portion size. I thought the price was on the high side compared to other local Thai restaurants. I will probably go back, but won't be in a hurry, because there are other equally good, less expensive options in the area. read more

We ordered from here the other night. I didn't even know this place existed. I live in Whitehall and ordered off Grubhub. I honestly thought it was delivery and it was in Whitehall at first. When I got a notification the food was ready to be picked up I got so confused. Ended up not even caring. Wasn't that far of a drive and it was definitely worth it. The food was great! Just ate here with my husband and two kids. They had a booster seat with a seatbelt for my youngest which I was happy about. We got edamame, steamed veggies and rice for the kids. I had the shrimp rolls appetizer and basil chicken with a spicy level of 3 out of 4 and the spice was perfect. My husband got pad pok with tofu and veggies also with a level 3 of spice. All dishes were nice portions and came with a side of rice. We were both very happy with our meals and so were the kids. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back. Ordered crab Rangoon and seafood soup as an appetizer. I must say the soup was the best tasting I've ever had. So many flavors. But not all at once. As I progressed through the bowl, different flavors were prominent. Crab Rangoon was crisp and flavorful. Main course was drunken noodle with shrimp and ramen with shrimp. The servings were huge! My new favorite Thai spot and convenient location to work. It's in a very unassuming spot next to the post office in Coplay. Parking lot is pretty small. You walk in and immediately can smell a blend of several different tantalizing aromas wafting through the air; an essential oil diffuser and the smells of food from the kitchen. It's a very nice thing to walk into. Staff very friendly polite and helpful. Decor is nothing fancy but doesn't need to be its not that kind of place. You're going their for the food not the atmosphere. The food was great, lunch specials reasonably priced at $9-$10 with many options to choose from. This place was not only our favorite Thai restaurant but our favorite place to eat period. We know soooo many people who love this place. The food is phenomenal and the service has always been fast. We are and have always been large tippers. My family and I own an Italian restaurant our selves so we are very respectful. But recently my family and I stopped in around lunch time and they were pretty busy but still had available seats and proceeded to tell us that maybe we should order take out because our child talks to loud and they didn't want other customers to complain. I WAS OUTRAGED! That has to be the rudest thing I've ever encountered! Shame on that guy and anyone else who would ever say that to a customer. Went to this out of the way place as an alternative to the restaurants around the Lehigh Valley Mall. Was only about a 10 minute drive from there. I was skeptical about hitting a type place in Coplay but gave it a try. The type food was fantastically flavorful and reasonably priced. There were lots of people coming and getting takeout. The dining room is at best rudimentary but really not that bad. There are many different levels of space available I have number three out of five and it was plenty spicy. My husband had the crunchy chicken pad Thai and I definitely stole a bit of that. I had the wonton soup & I loved it! My little guy tried the mango & rice and ate the whole thing.
