However, the experience was slightly hindered by the takeout service. We weren't provided with any utensils, which was quite inconvenient for an office meal, and I was disappointed to find that the curry didn't come with a side of white rice as I had expected. Very very disappointed Thai Dishes what happened?! We ordered ribs and they came out so dry we couldn't finish dinner. My friend Didn't want me to send it back or complain about it or else I would have. The Chicken Pad Thai smells like old socks. No flavor. Chicken was dry too. Even the rice looked old and I couldn't finish it. Very disappointed. No peanuts on the pad Thai. Not fresh at all. The flat noodle dishes have a wonderful smoky taste from stir frying and the curry dishes have a healthy kick of spice at "Medium". The servers were both attentive and checked in with us at regular intervals to make sure everything was good. For 25 dollars a dish I expected them to be somewhat satisfactory. The pad see ew was a 2/10 when compared to the 30+ times ive had it at various diferrent thai restaurants. The cashew chicken was also very sub par. What a let down for the price that they charge. The only thing that was good was there egg rolls. This could be any generic restaurant - even the branding is different, now boasting Thai Dishes Wilshire instead of Original Thai Dishes. My feelings about the location aside, the food isn't as good as it used to be. My dad's favorite dish, cashew chicken, is no longer served in the same way nor with the same flavor profile. The "regular spicy" for the curry was considerably spicier than we were used to and our server, Harry, offered to replace the meal which was kind, but we didn't take him up on it.
