The Chefs are the original Thai ladies (like our aunts/moms) and a Thai (male) Chef who are friendly and smiles when they see me coming or standing at the Cashier desk, so that's why their food are so good, like when our Mom and/or Aunt & Uncle cook at home! We eat it with a steam rice to complete the meal, esp if sharing. And their Tom Kha Gai (chicken) soup, Mango Sticky Rice is a +, Pad Se Ew (fried big rice noodles), Beef Panang soup are ALL delicious! They have the Ice Thai Coffee with Boba too that's so refreshing to go with the meal and we often stop by and grab it To Go! They make All legit & best Thai original food that make us as Customers, satisfied each time we went and got their food! They serve the food fast too. The (male) Waiter named Ed, is friendly, always fast in taking order when the Restaurant is crowded too, and serve the food and clean the table. The Restaurant is not that big but where the food SO good, always delicious, also affordable and not that expensive compared to other Thai food places, fast & friendly service, those are a Plus so we like to see more & more people coming and eat at the Restaurant and also order for To Go or pick-up! Parking is available in the back and at the side of the Restaurant. When parking, Just park nicely and think of other Customers who will come after us, because many people will come and seem already know of this best Thai food!! The wings were over-fried and the hot sauce smell was over powering. The chef's special (C2) came with so many types of meat. I didn't really like the chicken. The ribs were good. The beef jerky were the best out of all the ones we got. It's a good dish to try everything. We had to have Mango sticky rice for dessert. Mango was fresh but sticky rice was a bit dry. Literally the most authentic Thai curries you'll ever have outside of Thailand and deliciously authentic rice dishes too. It's a family run spot that I've been coming to for 15+ years now! Every time I take a bite of this food it reminds me of being in Thailand. The service is always fast at Wiring Thai and the ambiance is so cozy, plus it's a great bargain for the quality. The only thing is, their noodle dishes aren't the best, for that I would recommend Emporium Thai in Westwood, but the curry and rice dishes are better here :) read more

I'm sad to give only 2 stars bc I have been ordering from them for years but I recently received a takeout order that had ants on my food & in the container. It had never happened to me there before (that I'm aware of); I always had a great experience w them. They offered to refund my purchase or remake it for me (which is why I didn't give fewer stars) but I obviously went w the former bc I was turned off. Normally, I wouldn't throw a place that I loved under the bus like this bc I'm hoping that it was just a fluke, but I feel like I could've easily missed the ants if I hadn't looked at the food right away. There were only 2 ants (but even 1 ant is unacceptable), 1 was dead & the other alive. The ant that was crawling around inside could have potentially crawled out before I saw it as it was headed towards the edge of the lining paper. The other ant was dead on the egg roll and I probably would have dusted it off thinking it was a tiny piece of charred food or something & eaten the roll if I had not seen the live ant crawling moments before. Check the pics & you'll see what I mean lol. Makes me wonder how many times people have eaten something in their food that shouldn't be there bc they didn't know was there. Thank GOD I saw the live ant before it crawled all the way out of the box or further inside the food I mainly want to bring to people's attention that they should always check their food right away because you never know... the places you love the most can sometimes not be what they always seem to be. Also good for the restaurant to know too bc they're probably so used to being such a beloved & reputable place that they somehow let this slip by. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. The pad Thai was ok because the chicken was dry. Same for the chicken skewers. Also dry, had to use the peanut sauce to get it down. The spare ribs were overcooked as well. Not sure we'll try them again. read more

Everything we tried was delicious! My favorite was the Thai Glass Noodle Salad - Yum Woon Sen - my go to dish. It had a perfect balance of lime acidity, and saltiness with crunchy fresh vegetables. My favorite Thai spot in LA. Always polite and friendly when ordering over the phone. Most times I pick up at restaurant, and few times I asked to have it delivered which is free since I live close by. Usually get the green curry and springs roll. The green curry has more vegetables and eggplant than other places I've tried. Also tried the coconut soup. Everything is amazing and the price is very reasonable. My uncle and I decided to stop by for a quick meal at night, drawn in by the convenience. The menu consists of several Thai-inspired dishes along with other similar cuisines. I ordered the Chef Special, which included BBQ chicken, Thai beef jerky, BBQ ribs, shrimp fried rice, and an egg roll, along with an appetizer of coconut shrimp. The Chef Special was inconsistent--the chicken had some tender parts but was mostly extremely dry. The Thai beef jerky was tough to chew, while the small portion of ribs ended up being one of the better things on the plate. The shrimp fried rice was disappointing, with only two small pieces of shrimp and mediocre rice. The egg roll was your standard takeout variety--nothing special. Surprisingly, the coconut shrimp appetizer was flavorful and paired well with the sweet and sour like sauce. The server was nice, but with limited seating and a slightly rundown atmosphere, it's clear this place is more of a takeout spot. While the ambiance was decent enough for a sit-down meal, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the food came from frozen or pre-packaged ingredients. Wirin Thai has some of the best Thai food you will find in the City and for a super reasonable price. It is a little place with only a few booths. Most people either have their food delivered or they call and pick up, but we love eating there. Because most people do take away, there is usually a place to sit in this little gem. Don't let the exterior fool you. It had the cutest cat mural on it and some idiots decided to tag it and the sign. This little place has been struggling since Covid and they are not going to put money right now into replacing the sign, which was so nice. The service is just great. Everyone is so nice. This is a family owned business. They have a great menu and their lunch specials are great. There is nothing we have had there that we don't like and I think we have pretty well completed the menu. They have these great egg rolls with shrimp, and they are not little Bay shrimp, but nice big shrimp stuffed into an eggroll. Their Pad Thai is amazing and we really love their BBQ duck rice. All the soups are good. You will love this place. Parking is on the street and you will find a spot. It is little, so don't miss it, right on the corner of Venice Blvd. and Lincoln in Venice, CA. The price is great especially for the chefs special - great value for the amount of food you get. The pad z ew was very average though and the broccoli used looked aged- I probably would not get it again. The parking is what you would expect for such a small place. it is a little tight, but there is sometimes some Lincoln Blvd street parking ....traffic is dangerously close. It gets a lot of lunch business for take-away food and they have lunch specials where you get an entrée with eggrolls, soup and salad for a very reasonable price. When I was here, a family with a young child was eating very comfortably here. It is not fancy but it's clean (kind of an old building, but this is streets of Venice area). Inside maybe has five or so tables and very attentive staff . I think the food is tasty. Be aware you do not eat here for the atmosphere. I ordered a spicy eggplant lunch special with chicken soup, salad, brown rice and small egg roll. First off the chicken soup was not salty, delicious and it was embellished with crispy, not overcooked, veggies. The main dish was delicious with a really fair portion especially considering the price. I met the manager and told him I will be a regular. They deliver to the area in-house with no delivery fee. First of all, our order took about 45 minutes to be delivered and by the time it got to us, the food was piping hot! Just like how it would be if you were sitting in their restaurant.
