So we were staying close to this restaurant n hence decided to go for this restaurant. Let me say right away that the food was great! However, when you walk inside a restaurant you expect the whole experience to be pleasant and not just the food! The lady server/usherer etc etc was very rude n unfriendly as if she did a favor on us by letting us eat! The food came in 3 parts with long waits in between. We ordered 3 dishes. Atleast 30% of the place was empty. At the end when I waived for a check the lady said "hold on" n then it took atleast 20 minutes for us to get the check n pay up. Also it happened because the gentleman who was probably the owner came n apologized for the delay n thst is because we called him after 10 minutes had passed! To the business, kindly have some basic training in terms of how not to differentiate between people n how to be a little more polite! Overall a bad experience n I will never come back. read more

Rarely do I ever find a Thai restaurant that I do not like. This one just missed the mark. I came in around 4pm on a Friday for a late lunch. As expected, it was quiet due to the time. We ordered the chicken satay to start. The flavors were great and the peanut sauce and fish sauce were a nice complement. However, the chicken was almost rubbery. For entrees, we got the chicken pad see yew and shrimp pad Thai. The pad see yew was good and flavorful but the chicken was definitely rubbery. My shrimp pad Thai was wet and the bean sprouts were not cooked onto the dish. They had it raw on the side which wasn't terrible but I prefer them to be cooked together with the noodles. The shrimp was tiny...like the frozen bag kind not real shrimp. The pad Thai was forgettable. Our server was great though. My bf is allergic to shellfish so the server checked with the chef on what he could and could not eat. Overall, I would not come back. The food just doesn't reach the level of quality that I expect from a Thai restaurant. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I thought this experience warranted it. I was using an app and the app placed a duplicate order with the restaurant. They called me right away to let me know so I can cancel the duplicate and they would only prepare one order. While I was trying to figure out how to cancel they called me again and said they figured it out and canceled the second order. Great customer service. But what about the food. This was the third or fourth time I have ordered from them, all delivery. I have to say the food is great. Fresh tasting and always still hot when delivered. Their Tom Kha is excellent. I do think they are not as heavily sauced as some other places with a more subtle flavor. If you like things swimming in sauces then this isn't the place for you but if you like fresh tasting food then give them a try. read more

Thai Tom Yum soup tasted like it was made with a paste from a jar with mushrooms and 3 shrimps, nothing special in the least. No lemongrass flavor, no bell peppers, no carrots, no basil leaves, no chili peppers, it appeared to be a Tom yum paste, mushrooms and 3 shrimps.. Spicy, salty but far from an adequate Tom Yom, also I ordered a salad, the home made ginger dressing was almost tasteless on a decent salad, (one cherry tomato only) The ginger dressing needed to taste like ginger and a little fresh orange would make it right. I suppose starting with these two items might give a good indication about the rest of the food, but hopefully its more authentic and flavorful than what I had. I've driven by here a hundred times and finally stopped in! Soooooo glad I did! The atmosphere was quiet and subdued and very cozy. I was going to grab takeout but decided to belly up to the bar. Good choice, barmaid Erin(?) was very friendly and made s fantastic expression martini with fresh expression. I ordered Pad Thai noodles an Shumai as an appetizer. So good, so fresh and just perfect! We stopped into this restaurant before heading back to Maine and I'm so glad we did. When we walked in we were the only ones dining in besides a few ladies at the bar. I was a little hesitant because usually an empty restaurant on a Friday night is not a good sign. We started off with a mai tai and a zombie. The drinks were awesome! And the drinks that they have to choose from are creative and not your every day drink menu. Next time we visit I want to try the ginger martini-- sounds amazing! For food, to start, we ordered Thai fresh rolls and Tom kha gai soup. The Thai rolls were good but not the best I've had. I was surprised when they came out and we're not precut, but instead served with a knife for you to slice it yourself. Not a huge deal, it just made it a bit messy. The soup was amazing with so many flavors! If you like coconut soup, I would definitely give this a shot! For our entrees we got drunken noodles and pad Thai both of which were pretty good. Next time when I get pad Thai, I'm going to order it spicy as this one came out with no spice and made it a little bland (that's my fault for not asking). Decent Thai food ruined by amateur service. Greeted by a woman shouting across the room from behind the bar, no attempt to come out to greet the customer. I'm a few minutes a guy comes out but says nothing while this woman is shouting until I finally ask him if I can have dinner. Appears baffled to have a customer. Gives me a menu and then comes back to ask if I am ready to order after 30 seconds. Then drops the line- kitchen closes in 10 minutes. I had dinner at this place a few years ago with my BFF and it becomes a "let's go". experience. Toni is super nice and I garner that she's been here a long time. Our regular Thai restaurant was closed so we tried here. Ordered takeout. Spicy Excursion chicken fried rice was very tasty with lots of veggies and plenty of chicken. Floating Market was a big hit. Tender pieces of chicken and beef and a couple of shrimp in a tangy ginger sauce with a little bit of heat. The zucchini, summer squash, baby corn, all were cooked to perfection, hard to do in a stir fry. We will absolutely be going back for both these and other dishes. My wife and I walked in at 8:13 to place a takeout menu bc we saw that they were closing soon (both online and the sign out front said they closed at 8:30). We walk in and there was no one in sight. After a couple mins a woman finally comes out and says they're closed. Why advertise closing at 8:30 then? Also, why leave the doors open if you're closed? Far cry from the last Thai place in Cranston we went to just a few days ago (we like Thai) where we arrived 15 minutes before closing and they very nicely and willingly gave us menus and asked us if we wanted anything as we waited for our takeout order we placed. I broke the mold yesterday. Instead of four of us going to lunch, we had a group of FIVE. I am the one who picked this place -- ok, I've been taking over and picking all the places to eat this week -- because every time I pass by it in the afternoon / evening, I notice there are several cars in the lot. This could mean a variety of things: either it's a place of "extracurricular" activities, or it's a place with some good food. Lucky for us, I think, it was a place of good food. It's a smaller place; from what I hear, it used to be a pub and has changed hands several times. It's nicely decorated and clearly has a personal touch. The owner was there to greet patrons and she keeps the place spotless. The menu has a wide variety of dishes that are both chicken and beef, along with some seafood dishes featuring shrimp and scallops. There are also some curry dishes featured from different regions of Thailand. I chose to order the Ginger Chicken, with the optional brown rice. I can't remember what everyone else ordered. When my food came out, it was a cup of brown rice on a plate with the chicken (which consisted of strands of ginger, chicken, onions, and a few green veggies *good God, it was only yesterday, you'd think I'd be able to remember exactly WHAT green veggies*, all in a light brown sauce. I was asked if I liked ginger before I placed my order, and now I know why. I do love ginger added to my food, so I could see if someone didn't like it, they would not enjoy their meal. It wasn't so overpowering that you'd blow flames out the back o' yo ass, but it was just enough to let you know it was one of the main ingredients, besides the chicken. I loved it; ate every bit of it. Lunch was totally cheap; my meal was *I think* $7.99. The restaurant has it's own lot, so you won't have to circle around the block 20 times hoping and praying someone is heading to their car to leave. read more

This is honestly one of the best places I have eaten. Small, clean and intimate it's a great place to go eat whether you sit at the bar or at one of their tables. The service is incredible and all the servers remember their regulars very well. I even left my Burberry perfume there and a month later the waitress comes to my table and says "You left perfume here!" I always start off with the fresh rolls, half tofu/half shrimp with extra hoison sauce. I usually stick to my Massaman Curry dish with either steamed tofu or chicken. Very delicious and the best I have ever had. I have brought MANY people here and heard not one complaint! They are always blown away by the freshness of the dishes. I give them 5 out of 5 stars for their service, attention to detail and their fresh food. Also, went there recently and had a waiter that I hadn't had in months, he remembered my entire order which is rather complicated!
