Still a great place to grab Thai, even during the pandemic. Clean, follows all regulations, masks required. Food still comes out fast and hot. Today I had the red curry with chicken (green beans, peas, bamboo shoots, peppers, carrots). I ordered the extra hot, which was one level below the hottest "native hot." Very pleasant and not overpowering. I also had crispy veggie egg rolls. My husband had stir-fried mixed vegetables, chocked full of vegetables: bell peppers, Chinese greens, bean shoots, mushrooms, green beans, broccoli, onions, and more. Always tasty, fast, affordable, good portions, and courteous service.

One of the best Thai restaurant I ever tried. Noddles are well season, not watery like many other places. Not too salty or load with msg. Very impressed that this place exist in a little college town. Try their dessert too, I don't know if they are real authentic dessert but it is good. I had the sweet rice custard, it is like egg custard on top of warm sticky rice The only complain I have is that it is tough to find this place at night, I keep missing the sign and it was not on

We wanted to eat well for lunch and literally hunted down this place in our visit to Kentucky and boy we were treated to a feast. This place will not impress you from its exterior looks. Keep in mind, Don't judge a book by its cover. The time we got into this place, there wasn't much of a crowd and that was good in a way as we were being checked and also served on time. There was this one girl who was going around like a whirlwind, taking orders, serving and also checking out the guests who had come for takeouts. The menu is pretty vast and spoils you with choice. We ordered dumplings, sriracha fried rice, red curry, ice tea and sweet rice with custard for a dessert. The taste was exemplary as much as the service of the staff. The main menu portion was sizable for three of us and the dessert was outstanding. As we were walking out of the restaurant, there was a handful of people waiting for their takeout, served by the same whirlwind girl!

Great to see a decent thai place in bowling green. Was driving through the town and found this gem separated from the rush and hustle of the town. The entrance can confuse you, use the one that doesnt face the road. Although i didnt dine in the place seemed neat and quiet. Well maintained for a small town! I have tried the basil fried rice which was quiet good and the spring roll was delicious! The prices aren't bad at all. If you are craving some thai food while in town, check out this place!

Completely overpriced for the quality of food. Quality of food was mediocre. The dumplings were not good, the curry has no curry sauce. The drunken noodles we okay and for that they get two stars. The Thai iced tea was really good as well. But the entire meal was not worth the $60 with tip that was paid for one appetizer, two drinks, and three entrees. Not for the quality it came in. Would not recommend.

I love Thai Express, but I don't understand why they don't line the their to-go containers for curry, with tin foil? By the time I get home to eat, I feel like it's been sopped up and the bottom of the container is softened. One wrong poke and whoops, there goes the curry!

    Sure. I'll review you!

Great service, customizable meals, varying levels of spiciness. Just some words to describe thai express. I've never been big on thai food, but it's very good. This is a great place to bring your date on a busy Saturday night. This is a little known restaurant, so it's good to get in and out. The food is very high quality. It's in the building that used to be a krystal. It's also one of I think 2 places in town where you can get thai food. It's a wonderful place to eat.

Anna's Is the Foundation for My Love of Food…read more I first walked into Anna's in 2007 at the old location on Three Springs Rd. I was a 21 y/o small-town Kentucky kid whose culinary range extended to chicken tenders and French fries. I had no real curiosity about other cultures through food. I wasn't looking for adventure. I just wanted dinner. Then I took my first real date there. We ordered the lamb gyro, saganaki, and tzatziki. I still remember that saganaki arriving and the server screaming "OPA!", as it hit the table. That meal changed something in me. It was my first true cultural food experience, and it expanded my imagination in a way I didn't even understand at the time. From that point on, I went almost weekly. Everything Anna touches is gold. There is intention in the flavors, pride in the execution, and warmth in the experience. One night around 2010, I was the only customer in the restaurant. Vilson was serving me. I confidently ordered a White Zinfandel. He laughed and said, "Oh, some sweet tea with a bit of alcohol in it, eh?" Then he brought me a glass of Greek wine on the house instead. That small moment meant more than he probably realized. It was my invitation to GROW. I live in Seattle now. I've become an Elite Yelp reviewer and spend much of my time exploring restaurants, chefs, and cuisines from all around the world. I seek out bold flavors. I travel for food. I write about it constantly. And yet- twice a year, every year, when I return home to Kentucky, there is one place I always make sure to visit: Anna's. Always. Because this is where it started. If you read my Yelp bio, you'll see that saganaki from Anna's has been listed as my "last meal" choice since the day I created my account. That isn't nostalgia. That's impact. Anna and Vilson didn't just open a restaurant. They ignited a lifelong passion in a 21-year-old country boy who didn't know what he was missing. Some restaurants feed you. A few change you. Anna's changed me. Forever grateful.

I came here with a group, and I had the Vegetarian Briamai, which can also be made vegan if you ask them to leave off the feta. We also had an order of pita and tzatziki for an appetizer, and that hit the spot. While we didn't order the Saganaki flaming cheese, we saw it come out for another table, and it's quite a show- even if I can't attest to the taste. The only reason for my four stars instead of five is that the menu the server hands you is not complete, so be sure to check out the online menu to see ALL of the offerings. They do have more seafood and vegetarian offerings than what the paper menu shows, and you can also view photos and reviews of the food on their website/online menu. One of the reviews from 2024 mentioned the price differences, and this is still true in 2026. The prices on the website and in real life are a bit more expensive than the menus, so if you want the true cost of your meal, pay attention to the online menu. Anna's is a great choice for dinner; all of us enjoyed our food and found something we liked, from meat eaters to vegans. Plus, the sensory experience of being in a renovated church is nice and not something you'd expect in a small town like Bowling Green.

This shop is located downtown, but there's another shop closer to the highway that has a drive-thru and parking lot. I have not been to that location. I came here twice, and I had a nitro cold brew with sugar free vanilla as well as a hot black sesame matcha with oat milk. The cold brew was smooth and strong- perfect for powering through a workday on a warm day. The black sesame matcha didn't taste "green" and stayed warm, a powerful punch to get through the afternoon. They also have unique non-coffee drinks; my coworker got an iced drink called "Huckleberry Ben" that seemed interesting. The prices are so low here. You can get two specialty coffee drinks for under $15, and that includes tax and tip. The baristas were nice, and the coffee shop is a fun place to hang out if you want to work or chill. I don't know why anyone would drink chain coffee in Bowling Green with Spencer's around. I can see why everyone loves it, and I will be back too!

The shared restroom setup was a little awkward, but honestly, I'm glad it brought me in because it felt like discovering a hidden gem in Bowling Green. The atmosphere inside is amazing; cozy, stylish, and definitely a great spot for photos. Since it's close to WKU, there were lots of students and staff studying and working, which gave the place a really nice local energy. The woman taking our coffee order was incredibly kind and friendly. She was so genuinely thankful when I left a tip, which made the experience feel even warmer. Great coffee, great vibe, and a perfect little stop while exploring Bowling Green. Highly recommend grabbing a cup here as part of your downtown visit.
