We went to this spot on a whim before going to Ethel M holiday cactus garden. It is a very divey spot, not much glitz and glam but honestly as long as the food is good I don't care. You could tell this place is authentic because of the staff. They were very friendly and made everything to order. All our food was delish, everyone enjoyed the meal. They have additional spice you can add if the food isn't spicy enough. We noticed a lot of people coming in and out with a lot of people getting take out. We loved this hidden gem and would definitely go back.

Our first time for dinner at Thai Food Kitchen. Our Pops ordered take out a while ago and recommended this place to us. Casual family-friendly restaurant tucked away in the back of a plaza in the Henderson area. I didn't even know it was there. We couldn't decide what to get because of the array of food items to choose from. Our Pops was patiently waiting for us to decide and so was our server. On the menu: Papaya Salad Ground Meat Laab Salad Pineapple Fried Rice Duck Curry Combination Panang Curry Combination Pad Thai The food came out hot, fresh and looking so good. We were enjoying every bite! Good portions and reasonable prices. Each dish had great flavors and we had everything with no spice. We asked for chili oil and all the sauces to make our own concoction. The Ground Meat Laab Salad was on point because it's one of my favorites to order at Thai Restaurants. We liked everything no complaints, service was good and we will be back.

I have been to this place several times before, but today the quality of the food was not as good. I hate to get this place at three because I know it is like a Family own business. Maybe it was just an off day, I hope it was because this place is pretty reasonable. I did like the Tom kha soup and they serve it in the fancy dish with fire coming out We had the pad Thai, which was on the Sweet side, lacked a little bit of flavor and tasted like there was ketchup in the dish. The Penang, was average. It was a little bit on the fishy side and was not very sweet. They added basil to Penang, which I have never had before. It's a good thing we caught it because my sister is allergic to basil. The last time we came here we had the Pad se ew and it was great so I would come again to try the Pad see ew. Service was on point even though they were busy from Mother's Day. Very friendly style.

This is a great hole in the wall nestled on the corner of a small strip mall. I was dining alone, which I'm actually enjoying as of late. It's easier to figure out where to go!! I ordered the Panang red curry with salmon which came with a generous portion of white rice. And, I also ordered the chicken noodle soup, gluten-free to go. Both items were very good, but not my favorite. I prefer a crispy sear on my salmon, this one was a little overcooked for my preference and I like extra Panang sauce. The good news is they make their sauce from scratch but the bad news is there is no option to get more unless you ask for it ahead of time. Also, the chicken noodle soup to go, didn't have a lot of chicken for the price. The service was friendly. I think Thai food kitchen is a good restaurant, but I think I need to switch up what I order next time.

Love the food here everything is very well made, HOWEVER the customer service sucks every time i come here it takes a long time just to be seated and sometimes who ever is in the front disappears in the back for extended amount of time they dont really check on their guests throughout the meal and just checking out can be an extended wait as well. Once ordered everything comes out in a timely manner.

This is a joke. This was $14 the disrespect.

I just got my to go order. They charge me about $14 each dish. One was a chowmein. The other one mongolian chicken. My daughter was the only one that kind of ate. Since the portion was SO SMALL. A grown adult cannot eat well. We've been there several times and when we dine in the portions were not this small. Oh! But since everything was packed i didn't see the disrespect! Great lunch spot! I've been here twice and have to add this to my lunch list. Their lunch was perfect for the price. I got the yellow curry with chicken. It came with a salad and egg roll. The salad has a dressing added already which was like a vinaigrette. It's okay. Egg roll is okay. The main star was the yellow curry. It was delicious! Hit my curry craving. Thai ice tea was on point. For the price I paid for lunch, it was worth it. Service was quick! It was busy during lunch hour but I managed to get in and get out quick. Staff was friendly. Ambiance is casual.

Found this place with the hubby. Located in a quiet plaza with lots of parking. It's a small cozy restaurant with lots of seating and greatly decorated. The waiter was nice and friendly. Always checking in on us. The food was amazing! We ordered the crab wonton and calamari rings. Both came out so fast and it was hot and cooked right. Served with appropriate sauces. Then our main entrees were panang curry with chicken with level 3, which was the right spice level. Then we had the pad se ew noddles level 2. And it was delicious. Definitely coming back here.

Came here on a Sunday night after a movie and there were quite a few people in here but was able to get seated immediately. We were just looking for a quick bite and we ended up here. The drunken noodles with chicken was good. We said level 3 but def could have gone up in spice. The satay came with 4 pieces and it was tasty! The mango sticky rice is always my go to dessert. It was good but I think there was too many sesame seeds for my liking.

Well I decided to try Thai again (for delivery) I will admit I love Thai food when I go with my friends who know what to order!!! My wife has told me no more Thai!!! As she has not experienced good Thai (due to my ordering and choice of restaurants) Well not only was it good, it was great!!!! Every item I ordered was delicious, arrived at my house in 45 minutes and even though I got brave and ordered one item spicy..... it was a great spicy that didn't remotely make it too hot. Great job guys, great flavor, great delivery time and great easy to understand and order menu. 2021 has started out way better than 2020 Thanks for a great meal!! read more

This is a new place and they cook fresh to order. They have the traditional dishes but since they have a chef new to US they also have very orginal dishes I have never had. One was the spring roll which they added purple potatoe. It was an outstanding infusion of Japan and Thai. My favorite after the spring rolls was the Tom Khan soup. Great light flavors and not to hot. They will vary the amount of spices to your request. The cleanliness is excellent. Friendly and helped me understand what I was ordering. Ordered takeout from Thai Food Kitchen via Grubhub since our usual Thai place has been closed for renovations. Overall, very happy with the experience. Grubhub estimated it would be 30 - 40 minutes and we got notification that it was ready in about 10 minutes. Well packaged and presented and the food was overall very good. The Pad Thai was a little overly peanut-y (is that a word?), but tasty. Pad Kee Mao was a little different than I'm used to, but good. It had crumbles all over it - I think the chicken was riced? Not quite sure. Egg rolls were a little overdone, but tasted good. My wife absolutely loved their Tom Kha Gai soup. Mango with sticky rice was delicious. Would definitely order again. read more

The food is here deliciously athentic! I frequently order Tom Yum soup, chicken- spicy 5. It has the most flavorful lemongrass broth, white chicken breast chunks, and mushrooms. I also have ordered the crab ragoons (fresh and perfectly made), and the chicken satay, which comes with the traditional peanut sauce, and garnish of cucumber salad. read more

Big fan of Thai food, and my most favorite noodle dish ever is pad thai. I ordered from Postmates some of their food. Some tom yum soup and pad thai. It gave me options for spicy level, I put spicy for the pad thai, and mild for tom yum soup. I understood if the tom yum wasn't much spicy at all since I requested mild, but it did taste SWEET. What got me more was that the pad thai had NO flavor NOR spice. I'm not one to complain but I thought I had covid all over again because I seriously was confused why the pad thai tasted bland, NOT spicy whatsoever, and a hint of a peanut butter taste yet still bland. Where do I start this place is such a good restaurant the food is delicious, we had the cream cheese crab for appetizers and it was tasty, everything tasted so fresh and not to mention the service was excellent our server was a young lady who was very helpful in ordering and knowledgeable when it came to ordering any of the plates, The atmosphere welcoming, calm and good for kids or for just about anyone who's looking for delicious food. Ok, had the chicken satay, wonton soup and shrimp pad Thai. Wonton's were old because the noodles looked dark yellow at edges and the meat inside was a bit tough. The wonton outer noodles were as if they were sitting in the soup way too long. Satay was ok, and pad thai shrimp overcooked and the dish was a bit too sweet. No beverages except water and the bill was over 40$ including tip!!!!!!!!! Not worth the price. read more

Honestly... This is my favorite place for Thai. I always being a friend along so they can experience this awesomeness. The establishment is super cute and clean and absolutely has the best customer service I've seen. Super mom and pop shop, if you love those vibes! I usually order green curry with seafood because it's kinda hard to find, but my bf had the tom kha and he convinced me to try it and ever since then, I have craved it. Today was a tad bit different since we're all going through this pandemic together. So I decided to kick this craving and order a tom kha with seafood because I like seafood guys, an order of egg rolls, and some crab wontons. *They are open during this time and you can order by app or over the phone. When I went up to the door, they had the covid-19 standard procedures on the door and they had all of their ppe on ready to hand my items over which was awesome to see. The owners double checked my order and gave me a Thai tea on the house, well actually they are doing it for every customer but I just wanted to feel special, gosh! I am a contractor whom is familiar with restaurant improvements. THIS RATING IS NOT A RESULT OF THE FOOD. I left the restaurant due to the smell inside the facility. In my expert opinion, the smell is a result of the grease trap not properly being attended to. The grease trap should be serviced immediately and frequently. read more

The chicken texture of all dishes was rubbery...and everything tasted of basil to me (of which I am not a fan of) we ordered a 3 level of heat on a scale of 1-10, very mild. The pad Thai was unusually sweet not a dish I'd order again. The cucumber salad was good and the Thai ice tea was awesome. Very quiet and clean place. Service was great! read more

Why is this rating so high??? This is not real Thai food. Other than the broth there is two ingredients in this Tom yum. And one button mushrooms... button. Don't Americanize it when there are so many options close by. Thai connection. Ocha Thai. Thai chili are all close and way better read more

Drove by and notices the sign. Not sure how long they been here. Place is nice clean and alittle on plain looking. I ordered the Yellow Curry and I am very pleased. The taste was great. The consistancy of the sause was great. I had the lunch special and the portion was great. Normaly I take a picture to post but looked so good I forgot. Will definitely be back again... read more

We have been here twice and love it. Service is always friendly. The décor is easy on the eyes. It's a hidden gem in Green Valley. I had the crispy duck panang once and the tom yum another time. The wife always gets the Pad Thai with Shrimp. She likes it because they use rice noodles since she is gluten free. I think this is one of the best Thai restaurants around. We will definitely be back. read more

I ordered the red curry with chicken. It was a lunch special that came with rice, soup, a small egg roll, and a small salad. The portion for lunch was very generous. The curry sauce was lightly thickened so it was great to put over the rice. The vegetables in the curry sauce were al dente. Total price for tasty filling lunch was $8.63. This was with tax included. The service was professional and attentive. Dishes were cleaned off table immediately after each course, and my water glass was kept full. I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu. read more

Food and service were great. I wish they'd have a fountain drink instead of cans. It's the 21st century, splurge and get the fountain machine. But the food and service were on point. We got crab wantons, panang chicken and beef salad. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

Please improve how you manage the pickup/line area and train employees to recognize when something is clearly wrong. If you see two men unnecessarily crowding a woman who is by herself while she is loudly confronting them, take 30 seconds to ask, "Are you okay?" I shouldn't have been sexually assaulted while picking up lunch and then left feeling as though nobody in the room cared enough to even ask what happened.

Crispy, not greasy, and actually filled with quality crab. Service was impeccable from start to finish. Ontar is a true family-run Thai restaurant that has been serving customers since at least 2013. The dining room is humble and old-school, but that honestly adds to the charm. It was a little sad to see how quiet it was. We were the only customers dining in, and we also learned the restaurant is currently up for sale. That's unfortunate because the food, service, portions, and prices were all excellent. If you're nearby, come support this family-run restaurant and treat yourself to an amazing, authentic Thai meal. We will definitely be back to enjoy the food and support them again.

The only problem is husband bought popsicles, lol. I suggested we get to go but he wanted to eat in. He was very sure that they would put his popsicles in their freezer. We were greeted immediately and seated. The lunch was brought quickly and was delicious. The waitress had absolutely no problem assisting my husband with his popsicles. She even remembered to return them to him. This restaurant is one of the best in the area and it was surprising that we were the only people there at high noon. Great lunch spot especially if you have limited time! Pad se ew and green curry.

Pad thai, pad woon sen, pad see ew, larb, papaya salad, chicken satay, yellow curry, silver noodle salad, tom yum/kha soup just to name a few have always been amazing and the food truly never disappoints. My favorite thing about it? You can adjust the spice level and if you're a big spice lover, they can really make it spicy.
