The old NY Diner that turned into a Thai restaurant. Food and service were good. I thought it was pricey for the food you received. I got the spicy crispy catfish with the sauce on the side. A very small bowl of rice.

I wasn't impressed by my first visit to Thai Fusion. I had read reviews beforehand that mentioned lunch specials offering different options each day of the week, along with more than just a basic entrée. It sounded like a good way to sample the menu at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, when I received my menu and asked my server about those specials, I was told they no longer exist. For a first‑time customer who came in based on those reviews, that was disappointing and set the wrong tone from the start. I even told the waitress I would likely not be staying. I did stay, looked over the menu again, and even used artificial intelligence to help identify dishes similar to ones I've enjoyed at other Thai restaurants. I eventually chose an entrée with peanut sauce, mixed vegetables, and a protein of my choice. While the presentation looked appealing, the sauce had simply been ladled over the top, which made the flavor inconsistent from bite to bite. The meal also included a starter soup--a strongly flavored beef broth with stringy beef and glass noodles(?). I ate it, but it's not something I would ever order again. Overall, this was one of my least enjoyable experiences at a Thai restaurant, which is unfortunate.

We stopped here on a whim on a Sunday morning right as they opened. We have tried most of the Thai places in and around Myrtle beach and this place is hands down the best around, heck we are from the charlotte area and this is better than anything we have at home! Both me and my girl started off with the tom kha soup and it was outrageously delicious super tasty and creamy and a very generous potion packed with chicken! My girl had the garlic pepper chicken and she loved it, I tried one of her baby corns from her meal and they acted like little sponges soaking up that brown sauce, man soooo good. I ordered the spicy basil chicken without the egg!! I ordered spicy level and it was just right, friggin huge portion (I'm assuming this was a dinner portion due to being Sunday ) this dish was fantastic and some of the best pad kapok I've had! I can't recommend this place enough!!! And we had enough left over for another meal each so it may seem pricey but hey you're really gettin 2 meals we most definitely be back this place rocks

    Wednesday lunch special ....my choices.

Absolutely recommend! By far one of the best restaurants, I have been to in Myrtle Beach!! My only…read moreregret is that we did not go on a Saturday night for the belly dancer too! The atmosphere is lively, colorful and the music is loud enough to drown out other tables and not inhibit our conversations!! We were a group of 5 people (we did make reservations). Our waiter Zeon was great, very attentive, friendly and informative, fully capable of answering all of our questions in regard to the menu items. He didn't hover but had impeccable timing to be there just when your drink was needing a refill. We started with 3 different appetizers to share and try different items. The Mediterranean sampler of hummus, tahini and baba ganoush served with warm dipping bread, the Jerusalem combo - falafel, meat kibbeh, vegetarian kibbeh, Moroccan beef cigars with tahini dipping sauce and last but not least, the Phyllo Rolls. Everything was a surprise to your tastebuds! Although pretty sure the warm bread with the Baba ganoush was the fav! Our meals consisted of Salmon Shish Kebab, Beef Shashlik, Chicken Shrish Tawook and Lamb chops. All meals were cooked to perfection and extremely flavorful & the Mediterranean salad was light and fresh (one of my favorites for sure). I would recommend Jerusalem over and over again & we will definitely be back again. Thank you for a wonderful & fun evening

Originally, my girlfriend & I were going to eat at the Cook Out further north up US 17 Business on Labor Day Monday, 9/2/24. But it started heavily raining, and it was only to go at this Cook Out; the one I went to before was dine-in, so that threw us for a loop. We would've had to wait outside in the pouring rain to order and then eat in the car, which I had no interest in doing. We were ultimately meeting up with friends down on the boardwalk south of 8th Ave N. We had parked on Broadway and thought about eating over there, but nothing stood out. We walked to Ocean Blvd, there were a couple of places that were to go or just wasn't feeling. Shwarma's King looked promising and coincidentally that's where some friends already were. So, we settled on that. My biggest pet peeve with restaurants is no courtesy cup of water for paying customer of food. Water should be given no questions asked. You order at the counter. I will say the owner was very nice. And we were desperate since I don't normally do food purchases from a business who refuses water. My g/f went ahead and paid since I froze when we talked about the no water cup, and she bought water. I will also say that the Schwarma wrap was great. It was too bad he denied courtesy cup of water, which should be a given with the meal because I think I would've given this 5-stars instead of 2-stars considering the friendly owner & great food.
