The soup was bursting with exotic flavors that left me ceaving for more and mire until I damn near ate the entire pit if it. And it was a huge pit that came with its own fire to keep it hot! Vegtable dish was delicious and I took leftovers home. It was empty when I xame here 2:30 on a weekday. Waitress was very friendly and professional and great service. Its a very casual, clean, ordinary restaurant and not 'fancy'. When I'm hungry and cold fancy makes no difference. read more

Since quarantine started, we have gotten take-out from here countless times. It is by far the best Thai restaurant in the area! Our go to items are the red curry and pad si-ew. The red curry is truly a stand out at this place. It is creamy, sweet, and spicy. Nothing is too overwhelming and it is perfectly balanced. I have never been the biggest fan of red curry because it can often be too sweet, but Thai Garden does it just right! We have also tried their egg rolls. They are super crispy and not doughy like egg rolls at other restaurants, which is quite nice. But, they lack a bit of flavor, so adding some sauce can really help! I cannot wait to come here when the restaurant opens again. I would highly recommend Thai Garden if you want quality Thai food for a very reasonable price! read more

I got delivery from this place and it was quite literally worst thai food I've ever had. The basil chicken was spicy but otherwise flavorless (couldnt even taste the basil). The mussaman curry tasted predominantly of butter, and nothing else, there were also barely any potatoes in it. The pad thai was almost sickeningly sweet. read more

Some of the best Thai food you will have in the area, they have been in business almost 25 years. When I go I always ask for Di She is an awesome waitress and then with the company since the beginning. I would highly recommend the spicy fried rice with pork number 3 spicy if you like it hot number 2 if not or just tell them skipped the spice altogether. Price of $13.95 each was a bit pricey for the portions but since the food was delish, we didn't mind it. Ambiance with the fake hanging plants and bamboo by the window was ok. The unfriendly service was a turn off, though. No smiles, no hello when we came in. Staff walked us to table and just walked away. No eye contact & no one checked on us. The Chicken Tom Kha soup is wonderful. It has a light and refreshing citrus flavor to it and is such a nice warming appetizer or as a meal. The pineapple fried rice has a perfect balance of sweet and savor to the dish. The panang curry dish has a wonderfully warm heat to it but isn't so overpoweringly spicy that it's not enjoyable by those that have a more delicate heat tolerance. Our favorite was a bit of a drive and eventually closed, so we've now settled on Thai Garden as our go-to restaurant for Thai food. Panang Curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Lard Nar, Fried Rice, all delicious. But wait... you HAVE to try the coconut bubble tea. It's always my favorite drink with Panang Curry but the one they make here is on a complete other level from any other I've had anywhere! I can't even explain why, you just have to try it. read more

I tried my first Tom Yum soup right here, and I've never liked it as much anywhere else! Cuisine is very authentic, interior is super cozy and the staff is very friendly! Up to this date, I've been there a dozen times, and each one of them left me satisfied! I would like to mention separately their peanut sauce!!! Try it with something neutral, like tofu, its just amazing!! I think normally it comes with Spring rolls, which were also delicious by the way. I came in for lunch today. To be honest, the place didn't look like much from the outside. It is located in a strip mall on the same side as the Coffee Haus. I do have to give my server some props for the friendliest service in town. She brought some water while I was deciding on lunch. I ordered some Thai iced coffee which she brought over to the table fairly quickly. I ordered the spicy beef meal which is a part of their lunch special menu. Mine came with 1 eggroll (you can opt for a vegetarian eggroll), a small cup of vegetarian tom yum soup, and some veggie fried rice (or plain steamed if you wish). The tom yum soup was good and had enough veggies as well as flavors, however, I have to say that the eggroll lacked any sort of flavor. The spicy beef had a good flavor to it but it was fairly tamed when it comes to the spiciness. The place is clean and well-decorated. The booths are sizable so if you have 2 people sitting on each side you won't feel like you're too close to each other. The restaurant from the inside definitely does not reflect what greets you from the outside. The staff were polite and they provide efficient service. For example, my waitress brought over my bill after she delivered my main dish which I appreciate because I hate having to wait for my bill for a long time after finishing my food. Overall, I feel like I've been to a more authentic Thai place than this. It sort of reminds me of a fusion restaurant. Maybe I just didn't try the right menu items but as it stands, I think it's a 3-star at best mostly because of the fantastic service. read more

We ordered a couple appetizers and one of those were fresh spring rolls. You could tell by all the cracking of the rice paper that they weren't made fresh. And they were as bland as could be. Iceberg lettuce with cilantro and a tasteless cucumber... maybe not sure if it was a cucumber... and old bean sprouts Unfortunately after eating a couple of them (was starving) I noticed how brown the bean sprouts were. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress she fingered them a bit and walked away mumbling something. Nothing was made right and no apologies were given. This is how people get sick! This has been my favorite Thai restaurant in the NW Suburbs for years. Mostly I get carry-out. But the dining room is also very nice. There is plenty of light for reading the menu. But it's not so bright that it is distracting while eating. I did have to put on my reading glasses to read the menu, but that is now true almost everywhere. There is background music that seemed quite loud when I arrived, but the dining room was almost empty (it was quite early.) As the room filled the music was barely noticeable. The service here has never been less than excellent. The food here is always good. Two of my favorites on the menu are the Panang Curry and the Spicy Noodles, which I usually order with beef. Be aware that the egg rolls are not like those served at Chinese restaurants. These are in thin, delicate wrappers that more closely resemble spring rolls. They are good, but if you are expecting the big fat Chinese egg rolls you may be disappointed. read more

My friend was sick that evening after our lunch there. It was our second visit there. She said the food didnt even taste right. ' Usually she eats everything, but left some of her food on her plate. I didnt eat much of mine, mainly wasnt thrilled with it. Service was poor, an arrogant server who kept us waiting for a menu, we almost left , but then she came. After she took our order, she never came back to check on us. They were not busy, so there is no excuse for the poor service. When I asked for a container, I had to ask for bag, she seemed annoyed. **Vegetarian Friendly** Tons and tons of vegetarian options! They have a specific vegetarian section in their menu. Everything can be made without fish and oyster sauced, and can easily substitute tofu for any meat item. Huge perk because many thai restaurants don't cook without fish/oyster sauce even though the dish might be vegetarian. I personally enjoyed their Panang Curry more than their Red Curry. The Red seemed a little sweeter, but it could have been the spice level. Both were fantastic. I also recommend the papaya noodles - a little sweet, a little savory, a little spicy. PS: Careful on the spice level - their normal level is pretty flavorful! read more

We love this place. We have been coming here for years. They have some of our favorite Thai food, and the curries and other dishes are pretty excellent. Our three favorite dishes are the spicy chicken fried noodles, which has ground chicken, the panang noodles with chicken and the pad woonsen with beef, however we often substitute pad thai, because it is great. Honestly the other dishes we have tried are always good, these are juat the best. Good crispy wgg rolls, crab rangoon and tom ka soups too. Now the servers are not the most outgoing. Im not sure their english is great. But we have never had a problem with them, other than them not offering to take a drink order when you arrive, or ever. You pretty much have to ask. I hosted a vegan meetup here recently with 9-10 people. We called again and were set up in the back corner so we had privacy to. The waitress was very helpful in helping us with the menu. We all got an assortment of food but the most popular menu items were tofu pad Thai - some of the best I've ever had, mango tofu and garlic tofu.
