Phenomenal!!! Reminds me of Thailand with the authentic flavors and spice. Papaya salad, Thai spicy, isn't for newcomers! Delicious and perfect heat, for me. My tongue is still burning 20 minutes later :) The Pad See Ew with tofu was full of fresh basil flavor and tofu cooked perfectly with a little firmness but still soft. Busy for a workday lunch but nice and calm with a great wait staff. Coming back next week for some more!

Don't think my lisinopril is going to save me here! Had the pad see ew with tofu and it had way too much soy and oyster sauce (salty). Good amount of tofu though. A little too much salt for my taste. The Thai ice tea s good but very sweet. Get it to go, as they serve way more than in a glass. They say it's also priced more but I don't see a price for it on menu so I think it's same price. Would I come here again, probably not. Only one server and probably only one cook. Last thing, prices on menu are different than the prices at the end as they'll said it's the old price. Thai ice tea on menu was $3.75 but the price on receipt came out to $4.25. Definitely not coming back.

We come here several times a month and it's always so good! The women who work up front are always so friendly and welcoming. This time we had the teriyaki chicken, Mongolian beef and pad Thai. For dessert, if they have it, get the mango sticky rice! It's one of my favorites!

Stopped in for a late meal. It's been awhile since I have come here. Looked really clean when I walked in and you can definetly.smell the food. I was greeted instantly. I ordered hot tea they do have several decaf options I was surprised Almond cream, blueberry, peach, and lemon ginger. We are trying the peach. Love that they have loose leaf tea! The service is really good tonight. The egg roll is hot, crispy, and flavorful. Curry is AMAZING THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS GREAT TONIGHT. Much improved from my last visit.

Me and my husband were on a work trip in Tehachapi for a week and wanted some Thai food and loved the name of this place. Thai Hachapi, so clever! Some dishes were better than others. I did love the Tom Yum and the spicy crispy pork belly. I would've preferred ground pork but they didn't have that, But overall great service and a good spot for a city with not much here.

I wanted to try this place because of the name. Smaller sized restaurant & very busy. The staff is very quick and friendly. The place is bright and clean. We ordered the appetizer sampler It had fried shrimp, chicken wontons & eggrolls. They were each so good, the eggroll was a standard eggrolls, the chicken wontons were so simple but so tasty. The shrimp coating or breading was amazing. the texture was just so crispy. Chicken satay was great the dipping sauce was great. The little cucumber salad is refreshing. Our entrees we got were chicken pad Thai, panang curry with chicken, spicy basil pork belly. Pad Thai was great, lots of chicken & had a hint of sweetness. The panang is amazing, it was my first time trying it and oh my good I'm obsessed. Has a sweetness to it and so much chicken it was delicious. The spicy basil pork belly is a must try, we got medium spicy and that was great for us. The pork belly is fried to perfection, the veggies aren't soggy, super tasty. The sweetness of the Panang & spicyness of the pork belly dish went so great together. This is by far my favorite Thai restaurant. I'll definitely stop here every time we pass through the area.

Came by on a Friday afternoon, and there were a few tables full but they had room for us. We were a party of 6, and they have a table that can accommodate 8! We all ordered various items from the Lunch special menu which is $11.99 for a meal. A great price in my opinion. I got the Lunch special: spicy basil with pork 8/10 Very flavorful with good spice. I got the mild and thought it was great. I also go Mango sticky rice, which was not as fresh as I'd like. The sticky rice seemed to not be fresh or soft and quite hard. Would come here for a cheap lunch!

Honestly one of the best Thai restaurants we have ever tried. We ordered a side of potstickers (delicious!), teriyaki chicken, calamari & shrimp with sweet chilli paste. Oh my goodness, my tastebuds were in heaven. The restaurant itself is super clean and they attend you very quickly.

Surprisingly good Thai food! The restaurant is clean and modern. We got there at about 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and by 6:00pm, it was packed! We got the Tom Kha soup with tofu, green curry with vegetables, and Kho Mee See noodles with tofu. The green curry was exceptional. The medium spice was just right, not crazy spicy to the point of discomfort (which I've experienced before). The Kho Mee See noodles are crunchy and doused with a mild sweet gravy, but also very delicious. The Tom kha was different from what I've had before...it was much thicker, more tangy, with lots of different flavors coming through: I tasted a touch of ketchup, the husband tasted cheese. Whenever I make a trip to Kohnen's Bakery I got get some food from here to go for dinner! We love their pad see ew with beef, crab angels (like crab Rangoons) and yellow/ panang curry are both yummy! Service is good and the place is open with plenty of tables. A nice spot for lunch too! Restrooms for customers only and street parking if you can find it. read more

Great service, great food. We had crab angels, sweet and sour chicken, panang with fried sole and spinach, and sticky rice with mangos for dessert. Very friendly server. And they offer lunch specials on the weekend! read more

If you're in the mood for Thai, and you happen to be in Tehachapi, this is the place to go. It's downtown, kind of out-of-the-way but once you sit down inside, it's a totally different feeling. They have some Chinese dishes on their menu as well. So if you're with someone else who has a craving for orange chicken, you'll be in luck. I thought the service was fantastic. Mainly because the server didn't get into my business. He took my order and left us alone. read more

I visit Tehachapi at least once a week, I have asked Multiple people where a good place to eat is and everyone has recommended this place. I was not disappointed, this is a great place to eat, food was delicious and the service was fast. Overall I give them 5 stars for service, cleanliness, customer service and delicious food. read more

Food is ok but the service is terrible. The lady up front was very rude when I picked up my to go order. Didn't speak to us once, pointed at the total on the receipt and held our her hand without looking at us. Not worth a visit, you can find better food and better service elsewhere. read more

I eat here all the time and order the same basic dish. Spicy chili fried rice with chicken and the crab angels. It's good and I always come back. Tonight the food was so delicious. It tasted different but in a good way and the rice had so much flavor. It always has fresh peppers, basil, and chicken breast but today the rice actually had a ton of flavor in addition to the spicyness. I hope it continues to be prepared in this manner. I always call in my order and it is usually ready by the time I get there from Stallion Springs. This is a good little restaurant and they have a ton of options, a little something for everyone. I have never dined in so I can't say how that service is. read more

I am not exaggerating when I say this place has the best Thai iced tea I have ever had in my LIFE (and I've consumed way too much Thai iced tea than I should). Wow. I can't get over how good it was. I ordered the ground pork larb and the mango sticky rice, and both dishes were delicious and authentic. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Love the cozy, low-key vibe. Affordable, tasty, lots of options, and tofu for everything if I wanted it. Also open at night on Sunday when a lot of this town shuts down. My wife said her Larb was just ok and the crab Rangoon was more cream than crab but it was all great on my side of the table. Service was fine and quick as well. read more

Ordered ahead 30 minutes ahead for my order. told me 20 minutes not done when when went to pick up. Started food when I showed up. Pointless to order ahead when it takes a hour. I feel bad that I have to write a bad review but I have to when I paid what I think was overpriced prices for horrible food. Last night, I ordered to pick up 3 entrees...Tom Yom chicken soup which which was basically lots of dried up chicken with a couple of mushrooms in a bland broth. Chicken pad thai was worse again with dried up chicken and noodles looked and tasted like they were glued together... and last was garlic chicken wings which were nothing more than costco like overbreaded chicken wings lacking any moisture or garlic taste... we ate very little and gave most of it to the crows.... they need to have major improvement before I wud ever eat their food again read more

They have a jukebox near the merch, so you do have a choice in music. Ambiance is a nice, train/ country sports bar/pizza joint. Service is always splendid And very helpful with making a selection if that's necessary. One definitely go to spirits choice, would be the Hard Root Beer. Absolutely delicious! Another great option, if they are available, are the hidden booths on the east side of the restaurant, with two booths and a giant TV & across from the astronaut pizza slice.

I went with the Tri Tip sandwich and added hot-links which was a great choice I also got a side of fries. The Tri Tip was well seasoned it had the crack peppercorn taste that I personally love. Served on a soft Brioche bun I believe. They give you 3 bbq sauces on the side to choose from Sweet and mild , mild and spicy all three were delicious. My wife and daughter went with the pulled pork sandwich which I tried an it was delicious,especially the little pieces of Bark. My wife had a side of Mac and cheese and my daughter a side salad. They said the Mac and cheese was delicious and so was the side salad it was fresh. They do have a small bar nothing big and offer beer,wine and some mixed drinks. Overall it was great experience and I say even better BBQ than most of the spots I've tried in Bakersfield. It's a shame it's about 45 mins away but I'll be definitely making the trip back soon to try something else on the menu.

It's such a relief to have one of the best Thai restaurants right here. We've worked our way through most of the menu, and honestly, everything is tasty. The atmosphere could use a little improvement, the air conditioner always seems set to freezing, but everything else is right on the money. They provide decent size portions for a very fair price. I cannot resist ordering their Duck Noodle Soup and Chicken Pad Thai. Both were tasty and made me so glad we came. They have reasonably priced asian beers, which are always a pleasure on a Friday evening. I definitely recommend this place for great Thai Food. read more
