Went to this place today with a friend and I probably won't be back. NOT because of the food...it was actually SUPER YUMMY. I ordered the Panang curry with salmon and my friend ordered cashew chicken and the Thai eggplant... however, the service was RUDE!!!! Apparently we came in about 30 minutes before they closed mid day. We had ZERO idea that this was the case. They asked us when we walked in if we were there to pickup or dine in and we said dine in. They told us that we had to order before the kitchen closed and we were fine with that. We got the menus and my friend asked a question about the Thai iced tea...the waitress snapped back "Thai iced tea is Thai iced tea"....hella rude!!! My friend was trying to ask if it was boba tea but just I guess didn't say it right. So DISRESPECTFUL. We got our orders together by the time she got back with the tea and our food came out quickly...along with the check...my friend asked for to go containers and again the server was like "I don't have 3 hands...I have to go back and get it on the second round" or something to that effect. She was just all around rude, disrespectful and snatchy. Look, we TOTALLY understand needing to take a break before the next service starts, and I'm sure working in a restaurant is tiring! So the thing to say if customers come in last minute would be "hey, I'm sorry, we close in a bit and there wouldn't be enough time to give you a good experience...would you like to order something to go?" My daughters and I stopped in after shopping at the farmers market. Had been wanting to try this place out. The restaurant itself is beautiful when you walk in. We got seated quickly and water dropped off to us but the service itself was friendly, but the pacing of the meal felt off. We waited longer than expected at several points, which took away slightly from the experience. Thai Paradise is definitely a wonderful little Food gem in El Dorado Hills. The crab fried rice, pad see ew, and spicy eggplant are my absolute favorites. Their shrimp is always fresh, everything is always hot, and the portions are perfect the family. I haven't dined inside just yet, so cant speak to the ambiance or in-door service, but the food, presentation, and take out has been great! My uncle and cousin took me to this restaurant for my birthday dinner and what a treat it was. It was spot on as Thai is one of my favorite of Asian cuisines. The interior is very attractive and we happen to get there early for dinner time and avoided the crowds. The service was quick and hospitable. A friend told me once that on your first try of a Thai restaurant, sampling the Pad Thai is a must and you can make a good determination of the joint's food quality. Their Pad Thai is absolutely delicious, not shy at all with its flavor. And lucky for me, since there were three of us, we shared our dishes and also ordered spring rolls, a red curry with pork and the Thai fried rice. They were all flavor overload in a very good way. We tried this place for the second time and overall had another good experience. The Pad Thai with shrimp was delicious -- flavorful, perfectly cooked noodles, and generous with the shrimp. Definitely a standout dish. The fresh spring rolls were, as always, excellent -- super fresh and nicely wrapped. However, the peanut sauce that came with them wasn't quite to my taste; I prefer a creamier, more balanced flavor. The Tom Yum soup was bright and full of flavor, with that classic mix of tangy, spicy, and savory. A comforting dish done really well. They have both indoor and outdoor dining available. We chose to sit indoors today as it was still very warm out today. We were seated fairly quick and provided water. We ordered angel wings and chicken sa-tay skewers to start. Both were as expected and not out of this world. Grilled beef salad was very sour. Thai Basil w/chicken was ok Green curry w/calamari was ok Spicy pompano was ok as well. My hubs usually likes a bamboo stir fry dish option but to our surprise there wasn't one. They offer Alice bamboo in many other dishes so found it off that this one didn't have it. Overall Flavor was good however we noticed all the protein from all the dishes above were on the much drier side making it a bit tough to chew. From the chicken to the beef to the cuttlefish calamari they had in the green curry. Even the fried pompano fish was dry. Service however was great. They were attentive to clean up plates and friendly to check on us. This seems to be a chain with a location here in EDH as well as in Folsom. Am sure we'll be back. I travel a lot for work, but whenever I'm in the area I always make it a point to stop by here. The service is always very polite, kind and with a smile. The atmosphere is always very peaceful and calm. And the food - never disappoints. The avocado curry has become a favorite of mine, almost guaranteed what I will be ordering every time I walk into the building, all I need to decide on is if I want a drink and/or an appetizer. This most recent visit I got the fresh spring rolls, they come with a peanut sauce and a (??) honey something sauce that I told myself I wasn't going to forget but I'm writing the review almost exactly 24 hours after ordering it and already forgot. While I have a preference for the peanut sauce, the other sauce packs a very unique - and very nice - sweet/almost heat flavor that was dancing across my tastebuds. 10/10 will come again. read more

I recently went to Thai Paradise EDH for dinner with family. We ordered Thai Fried Rice, Spicy Asparagus Basil Curry, and Drunken Noodles. Tofu Drunken Noodles: 4/5 It was alright- nothing to rave about but served its purpose. It was flavorful and filled with vegetables and tofu. Spicy Asparagus Basil Curry: 3/5 Came with rice and loads of veggies. I wish it came with more asparagus and was more spicy! Thai Fried Rice: 4/5 Good spice levels and but lacking in vegetables. Overall was very solid meal. Mango Sticky Rice: 5/5 I wish the portion was slightly larger. Sadly our mango wasn't super sweet but condensed milk made it all better! We sat outside which was absolutely beautiful with the fountains going off. Just as a warning- there are flying bugs outside! We definitely had to swat around while eating. Service was good with staff checking up on us. One note is that we had to ask for straws a couple of times and they never ended up coming to us. Been living here a while and was craving some Thai food so decided to try Thai paradise based on local recommendations and great yelp reviews. Well so glad I tried it as it was delicious and comforting food that hit the spot after a long cold day. The Tom Kha soup was super tasty with good overall flavor and plenty of shrimp unlike other places that only have 1 or 2 shrimps in the soup. The ingredients in the soup were good and just right in the flavor. The pad Thai chicken was excellent as well and the noodles were perfectly cooked with a fantastic texture and right amount of protein and peanuts. The service was ok not as great as I had hoped for but the manager or owner got involved and received better service towards the end of the meal. The ambiance is great at the EDH town center where they have outside and inside seating to have the best experience. Although it's located in popular Town Center, I consider this place a hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy yet spacious at the same time. I never feel like I'm invading anyone's space, and I can have a conversation without shouting over loud music or other diners. The servers are all pleasant and efficient. Food portions are excellent and well priced. We always have leftovers to enjoy again. We've had the Curries and the Drunken Noodles, both of which aren't too spicy.
