I ordered Pad-ka-pow/phat kaphrao which is chicken stir fried in Thai Basil and Thai chili. What I got was nothing like what I expected. It came with two small basil leaves that added No flavor to the Dish. Absolute waist of time and money going to this restaurant. Do not recommend! The sign says they have been open since 1985.... You can say that again because the ambiance hasn't changed since they opened. It's pretty sad when I can go on YouTube and make the Spicy Basil chicken / Pad-Ka-Pow 10 times better at home. You know it's crazy when we ask about an item that they might have on the menu the guy went all defensive saying that all Thai restaurants are the same. I asked if there was something similar to the said item and a simple no would've sufficed. Unfortunately my lady was not feeling well and we had to pack up and leave early. Came to visit for the Tom kha kai soup. It was a little different from others I've tried, and I didn't love this one. Huge chunks of lemon grass were so bitter and hard to chew and swallow. I ended up sifting them out of my soup. The water chestnuts weren't good, either. The soup's overall flavor was tasty, but I've had better at Mu, Benjarong, and R Thai for comparison. My husband wanted an order of crab Rangoon, which wasn't good at all. The cream cheese mixture just seemed off to me. My mother took me here because she figured since it has been in business for so long, that must mean it is good. Also, she said that when she ate here last, she liked it. Well, this was my first - and last time. We ordered the pumpkin curry which came out to be $15.50. We took our food to go, and I have to say - I am disappointed. The portion was piss poor. Thank goodness I did not order from their lunch specials -- the hostess said that the lunch specials were HALF of a full size portion. If this is what a full portion looks like, I don't even want to know what half looks like. The taste of the pumpkin curry tastes very much like your regular curry; nothing to write home about. We ordered from Thai house back in February of 2021 for takeout and kept dreaming about coming back! Being from San Diego, we wanted some good quality Thai food, and we found it. The patio is still closed for some reason but we got sat right away on a Thursday evening. There are still tables reserved for social distancing and the staff does still wear masks but does not enforce it upon guests. Drinks: Thai Tea & Arnold Palmer Food: We ordered the Panang Curry w/shrimp & the Drunken Noodles w/spaghetti noodles. First time we read spaghetti noodles we thought it a bit odd, but now I don't think we will switch back. We also ordered a small Egg Drop Soup that had a subtle kick to it & a small Tom Kha. So yummy! This is a great go-to spot with lots to choose from and a nice cocktail menu if you're feeling adventurous. read more

After seeing other reviews stating they also found the food bland I think this may be the way they cook the food now. i'm also disappointed because I ordered it curbside and after waiting 20 minutes no one came out. I finally had to go inside and get the food myself. I tipped when I originally ordered and I regret that now. i went at 4pm on a friday and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Ordered shrimp Redlands noodles which was good, if you don't want well cooked noodles try something else. Tried the pineapple mango curry , chicken and cashews. Food was served quickly. It was warm and tasty. All dishes were shared since we wanted to try everything we could. We decided to try the ice cream and the vanilla was good. I went here twice during my stay in Redlands and both times got the Khao Soi. I used to live in Chiang Mai and love Khao Soi, but their take on it is a bit different. They use a creamier broth and wider crispy noodles, and let me tell you, I am obsessed. The one I got for the lunch special was better than the dinner, but still good. We also got the summer rolls which were good, but not amazing. My friend also got the Khao Soi and really enjoyed it. They told us it would be a 30 minute wait and it ended up being 5 minutes. They have lunch specials which are really good priced as they come with an egg roll, fried wonton, salad and soup (for dine in only). My issue with the a for mentioned soup situation is that everything is closed for dine in so I feel that they should throw in a second egg roll or another wonton or something as a replacement for the price you pay for the meal to include the soup. The Thai tea is really good and worth having for sure! When they reopen for indoor dinning, I'm hoping they still do Friday and Saturday night events in their bar area because those nights were worth attending. My wife gets an anaphylactic reaction when she eats peanuts. I make sure to double check that there are no peanuts mentioned on the menu when ordering food for us. I recently placed a takeout order off of Thai House's online ordering system, which is through this website "opendining.net". One of the items I ordered was their Panang curry, which based on the website, is based off a red curry and doesn't mention having any peanuts in it. As soon as my wife takes a bite of the curry, she can tell that there's peanuts in it and she immediately develops an allergic reaction. I later called the restaurant to let them know that their online ordering menu doesn't mention a potentially serious food allergen. The person on the phone was dismissive of my concern and repeatedly stated that peanuts are mentioned on the menu, despite my multiple attempts to clarify that it's the online ordering menu that's incorrect. Their food is delicious, but it's troubling that they were so dismissive when I told them my wife had an anaphylactic reaction to their food and they should update their online menu, so the same mistake doesn't happen to someone else. If someone in your party has a food allergy, I would be very cautious when ordering from them and triple check to make sure there's no unmentioned food allergens in the dish you're ordering. read more

Our Wigwam Motel manager recommended the Thai House for dinner and he was spot on about the great food and service here. We came early on a Friday night (5:30 pm) and the House was already running on full steam. We had a short wait in the lobby, nicely decorated to make you feel transported into an exotic locale. Once seated we were attentively cared for by the staff. The menu is largely Thai but there is a sprinkling of Chinese food items as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the drunken noodles and the Jungle curry. Even on a busy night we were impressed how quickly our dinner came out. Highly recommend coming here for dinner.
