On our quest to find Blackstones Spicy Brown Sugar seasoning, it lead us to an amazing find. The hubby and I ended up at Thai House Restaurant. The small and very mighty Mom and Pop restaurant, was amazing. We got there and they give us a small wonton soup as a starter. The flavor of the broth, definitely hugs you from the inside out. We started with fresh spring rolls. These are always good. We shared the Green Curry with beef and the pad Thai with chicken. Both were seasoned perfectly. The spice level, hit just right. We like it spicy . I would definitely drive back for another meal.
The food was good! The curry was a little bit sweeter than I'm accustomed to, but it was still delicious with the rice. The service was also good and waitresses were attentive, friendly and professional. It's a small place, but a nice atmosphere. I noticed a lot or military personnel like to eat here.
Food was perfect ! Lunch specials are great served from 11am -3pm - service was excellent and great energy. Food was nice and hot and not too spice medium heat. I appreciate a service that gets the order correct and is happy to be at work. Keep serving with a smile & best lunch ever! Highly recommend.
I was visiting a friend on the east side of town and we decided to have dinner @thaihousesa first. I had been here a couple of different times and really enjoyed it. We started with the Fresh Spring Roll and Fried Tofu. The spring roll sauce seemed like hoisin-sauce-based rather than peanut-based and then shared the Thai House Duck and the Pad Thai with shrimp. The duck was served on a cast-iron plate with the sauce on the side. That kept the duck as crispy as possible. The shrimp in the pad Thai lacked seasoning and maybe an off night. I tried the Jasmine Brown Rice with the duck and it was very good. Overall, still a great experience and would highly recommend.
I absolutely love going to this place during lunchtime not only has all of their food been amazing and tasty, but the service is also quick and excellent! My absolute fave is the red curry chicken! The combination of the sweetness and the spice is just out of this world yummy!
This must be a very popular spot. We went at prime lunch hour and it was full. The service was a bit rushed- they wanted us to order quickly. They brought out our dishes, but the server said one of the orders was wrong so she quickly replaced them. I got the Tofu Phad Thai, which was a LARGE portion especially for a "lunch portion"... I could barely eat half of it. Got an iced tea with it. Overall a good spot. Not a lot of light in the place, it felt a bit cramped.
I tried this place based on Yelp reviews. It is a standalone restaurant with small parking lot. Service: we were greeted right away and sat at a table. Soup was brought out quickly. Water was refilled quickly. Emilie ate friendly and attentive. Food: the light soup was nice on a slightly chilly day. Small chunks of tofu, ground chicken chunks/balls, and Napa cabbage. The soup was very good. Ordered the pad basil with chicken as Thai hot. My entree was served spicy hot and temperature hot but my rice was cold like they platted the rice while cooking the chicken and it did not taste fresh. The chicken was flavorless like it did not absorb any sauce and it was all stuck together. The sauce had a good flavor though. The dish was inconsistent so giving this place 3 stars. Restaurant cleanliness: average. The place is dark so really hard to see if it is clean or just dark Bathroom cleanliness: below average, it is hard to tell if the corners are mold or just super dirty
After reading several glowing reviews on Yelp, I decided to try Thai House. Overall average food with significant room for improvement. Also, very dirty bathroom. Food: Had the garlic and black pepper chicken lunch special. Nice light soup. Edible but not great egg roll. Main dish had a decent portion of food and good flavor but with three issues. First, the rice was served tepid at room temperature and didn't taste good. Second, the preparation of the chicken was downright sloppy with several very large irregular pieces. Third, chicken was served on some large pieces of iceberg lettuce. The pairing with iceberg lettuce is less than optimal. Had a similar dish recently in Spokane and it was served on a bed of chopped cabbage which was much better. Service: Good service Overall cleanliness: average Bathroom cleanliness: Poor! Men's bathroom was downright dirty. Overall value: average
I have passed this restaurant many times and I paid no attention to it. My boss raved about it and I finally decided to give it a try. They didn't disappoint. I was seated quickly after I entered the restaurant. The restaurant had nice decor. I decided on edamame and Pad Thai. The edamame was good and I had leftovers. The Pad Thai was delicious and the portion was good. I ordered it without onions(onions are the devil!). I truly regret not eating Pad Thai last year when I was in Thailand(epic fail on my end). I would know how close it was to eating it in Thailand. I enjoyed my experience and I will be there again soon with friends.
I met 2 Thai girls which automatically I asked where do they eat Thai food. They recommended this restaurant. I went on a week night. The restaurant is not big and somehow it feels like an old cozy building. The service was fast and on point! We ordered the tum yum soup and a green curry with the red snapper fish. And yes these girls know their food! Most restaurants use the pastes as base for their soups and curries. At this restaurant you find chunks of galangal, lemon grass and all the aromatics needed for Thai cooking. So yes I think I can confirm it is one of the more authentic Thai restaurants in town
Very small place, had a decent amount of people for lunch, and was relatively quick service. Had some difficulty understanding the server though. Soup of the day 9/10 No idea what kind of soup it was but it was clear-ish and had Rice, chicken and a cilantro leaf. Mild broth flavor, tasted like a touch of lemon but it could have easily just been flavored from the cilantro. It was really good and I would order it with a meal. The only thing I think it could have used maybe a little salt or 1 tiny drop of soy sauce. Spring roll 9/10 Just a veggie one. Fried. Was pretty good. I do wish there was little dipping cups for your soy sauce though but it was only 1 roll so it's not a big deal. Thai fried rice, with chicken 9/10 The rice was very good. There was a lot of onions in there, I loved that they put egg, and green onions too. The chicken was cut in huge strips, and there was no knife at the table to cut it up into smaller bite sized pieces. It was a little bit overcooked too. They had these two sauces on the table, one was more savory, maybe a soy based sauce; and the other was a little more sweet and yellow in color. Not sure what either of them were but they were both pretty good on the rice.
Thai House, I'm sorry that I have been dining here for 15+ years and never written a review until now. This is one of my top 5 favorite Thai restaurants in town. Had lunch there today with co-workers and you can't beat their $11.99 lunch specials that include soup, entree, veggie spring roll, and steamed or fried rice. The lunch portions are still quite large, so I typically have leftovers. The interior has nice Thai decorations. It isn't a large restaurant and gets quite busy during lunch, so I recommend arriving before noon, especially if you have a larger group. My co-workers had the pork spring rolls as an appetizer, which they really enjoyed. We were served chicken and rice soup before our meals arrived. I had the green curry, which had generous portions of eggplant, veggies, and tofu in the creamy flavorful coconut sauce. My friends both had chicken pad Thai. As usual, everything was delicious. I have never eaten a dish here that I didn't like. The staff is always personable and quick to make sure you have what you need. read more

This was the first time we tried Thai House Restaurant and we were not disappointed! We ordered to go and it was ready in 15 minutes - very fast! The employees were very kind and gave us recommendations. We like the homey feel of the restaurant and it was packed so you just know it is well loved. Our group ordered the Green curry with seafood, Shrimp pad Thai, Thai tea, Pepper steak stir fry, Green curry with chicken, Chicken Spring rolls, & pot stickers. The green curry was so flavorful and overall a crowd favorite! We will be back!!!! read more

Totally beat the rush at this place and quickly filled up by noon. I'm a sucker for Thai curry and the service was pretty quick. I was offputted being greeted from afar and being pointed where to sit. As if they had a lot going on in the restaurant that only had 4 tables filled... This place get 4/5 because.... Even though service was lacking and they did get my order wrong the first time with a red curry... I forgive them because my green curry slapped *queue drool* I would like to add, that the fried rice option instead of plain rice it just fried with egg and seasoning... if you do want fried rice... just make a separate order or they can possibly upcharge for the fancy pineapple fried rice with cashew.... Yummm Thai tea was decent, will dabble with the Thai coffee next time. Hope it strongggg! Forgot to mention, this place is pretty much a hole in the wall standard Thai joint with awesome food. Family friendly, keep your spice in check by asking how the peppers are that day. Peppers change but the amount does not. Great set up, aside from serve. Has a wholesome homie feel to it. read more

Stopped on a Saturday afternoon because I was in the area. The restaurant does not look like much from the outside, but inside, it is nicely decorated and welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I entered and the restaurant was empty. However, it did not stay that way. It had picked up quite a bit by the time I left. They have a good mix of eat-in and pick-up order traffic. One lady had driven across town for her food. As soon as I was seated, they brought me a serving of the soup of the day, which was cucumber. I had never heard of cucumber soup, so I was skeptical. I am glad to report it was delicious. NOTE: They serve their lunch specials on Saturday!! That is awesome and quite the penny-saver. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch specials that also come with a spring roll. The portions are just the right size. My food came out fresh and hot. Make sure to let them know if you want it spicy or not. I think their default is not spicy. The dish was good with a nice balance of flavor. Afterward, I was not stuffed but very content. My meal was $11.90 total. You can not beat that with a stick. read more
The family really loves this restaurant. No flairs just fantastic food at a great price. Second another yelper, who said don't focus on the service... because you're here for the food. I've been there plenty of times and can speak to the deliciousness of the food at lunch and dinner. The panang curry has plenty of chicken and the sauce is thick. Their meat portions on the beef basil is generous. Their spring rolls are crunchy and don't taste reheated. If you're into noodles the pad thai isn't over sweet, and they make the drunken noodles as spicy as you want it. It's all good stuff. The place is consistently full at lunch, but if you can put up with a short wait, they will get you in. Of course, I would have your patience at the ready. Their lunch specials come with steamed or fried rice, a cup of the soup of the day, and a spring roll. The prices for their lunch specials are fair. The facilities are clean. They have private parking. They have a liquor license to sell alcohol. It's family friendly, and we've had groups of more than six plenty of times. I will keep coming back. read more

Enjoyed lunch with really good chicken friend rice. My friend ate the chicken Pad Thai and he also said it was tasty. First time eating here and I will come back again. Quick service and good food. What more could you ask for? Bring your group to eat good food and have great conversations. The staff was very pleasant and quick to serve us. read more

Looking for delicious Thai food? Definitely give this place a try! I ate here regularly 10 years ago and it's still amazing! Stopped back in town for a late lunch recently and was happy they are still open! Not super pretty on the outside, kind of a shack on the side of the road, but the inside is clean and wait staff are friendly and attentive. We ate pad thai, yum nua salad, and egg rolls- everything was as delicious as I remember! Prices are still good too! You owe it to yourself to eat here read more

Fresh, fragrant, and full flavored this is going to be a Thai restaurant in my regular rotation. I'll keep it simple, the food was super crisp and flavorful which is just what you want for an Thai stir fry dish, you get the best kind of hits of Thai basil, ginger and garlic. Portions were good and the service was next level, more of what you'd expect from a fine dinning establishment. The waitresses wouldn't let your cup go empty or a dirty dish sit for more than a min untill they addressed it. Also a good spot for lunch because I think the food came in under 15 min from the time we ordered! Only real criticisms I could give is they had paper menus posted on the divining will between the dining room and the kitchen which were tacky, get a better way to display special that's more elegant. Also the outside of the restaurant does scream hole in the wall which isn't that big a deal but to some folks it is, I'm grasping at straws here as it is! All in all a solid Thai Restirant! read more

One of our favorite thai places in the city. Don't let the area where it's located deter you. It seems like there is not much happening but when you go into the restaurant it's clean and almost always packed during lunch and dinner hours. My favorite is the laab gai which is marinated tangy beef- if your into sour plates this is it! The traditional pad Thai is great as well if you are not feeling adventurous. The service is consistently great! read more

Super solid food, good service, and reasonable price. I had the pad basil, and the wife had chicken satay as an entree. Both dishes were done very well. I asked for spicy and that's what i got. Perfect balance of salty, herby, and spicy. Would totally recommend. read more
