    Drunken noodles

Meal comes with egg drop soup egg roll and tea Drunken noodles have a weird aftertaste from the oil would have liked more vegetables Bland taste to me but several good sauces to spice it up Not bad but would not order again. Just not a fan of the flat large noodle. Service was very good and hubby liked his sweet and sour chicken and would order again

It's Daddy-Daughter night tonight since hubby had dinner plans. Dad and I headed to @angkorbistro for dinner. Dad had the Fresh Watermelon Juice and I had the Fresh Watermelon Ice Blend from Tealicious Cafe. Nora, the owner, came out to chat with us. She's originally from Cambodia and wanted to share some dishes with us. It was such a nice treat because I've been wanting to try their Cambodian food. Golden Wat, which was affiliated with NOLA Brunch & Beignets, closed down a few years back and had served Cambodian food. Pra hok ktis is an appetizer or entree eaten with fresh veggies. The ingredients include fermented fish, lemongrass, coconut milk, and pork. It had some spicy kick to it. I couldn't stop eating it! The other dish was the Chicken with Lemongrass. I really enjoyed both of them. Since overseas Chinese make up some of the population in Cambodia, some dishes are like Chinese food. The menu @angkorbistro includes Thai, Chinese, and Japanese. Dad had Miso Soup. We shared the Fried Spring Rolls and the Basil Rice with Tofu. We had plenty of leftovers to bring home. I can't wait for hubby to try the Cambodian food!

I came here for the first time on a friend's recommendation, and it was such an awesome first time dinner experience :) ! My friend has been here before and highly recommended it because of the excellent customer service and delicious food :) ! We had the Cambodian combination noodle soup bowls, dumplings, and sticky rice with mango dessert :) ! We also ordered jackfruit boba, which was unique to me because not all Asian restaurants serve this ;) ! The super friendly owner, Nora, and the waiters and waitresses came out to check on us and make sure we were doing ok :) ! We felt very well take care of and highly respected by the grateful restaurant staff! We really how this restaurant is very high quality in their food and customer service :) ! And also how it creates a very cozy and warm ambiance for great conversation with friends and family :) ! We didn't feel packed in like sardines like at some Asian restaurants, but were treated very cordially :) ! We will definitely be back :D !

Great neighborhood Thai and boba tea restaurant. The food is great and so is the service. Their meals have spice levels up to Thai spicy for the more adventurous. I've been here twice and have enjoyed both of my visits.

One word. Disappointment. To begin with, got charged extra for Tapioca on my Thai Tea that I specifically said NO tapioca. Didn't really care to fight for the .60 extra. My fiancé ordered the Red Curry, when the dish arrived, we were surprised to find yellow water curry. We typically don't send back food but this plate was not eatable. It was watery, flavorless, and bland. My fiancé exchanged it for Thai shrimp fried rice. It was alright. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was alright as well. It wasn't like other Pad Thai's I've tried. Just by seeing the color of it I could tell it lacked some flavor, it wasn't spicy as they typically are. Overall, won't be back here.

Had a good experience at Angkor Bistro. It was our first time and we went fairly early (lunch time) so it wasn't too crowded. We were seated and served right away. I usually stick to the same at Thai restaurants (pad see ewe)and that is what I ordered here. My husband ordered the combination fried rice. Both were pretty good. They have lunch specials until 3pm btw. Their drink menu is also pretty extensive! They have all kinds/flavors of tea and you can add boba. I had a peach tea no boba. Overall good experience! Very clean and ample seating!

This restaurant is very nice and the decor really makes for the authentic Thai atmosphere. Not to mention the staff were so friendly and welcoming it was really nice. I really enjoyed the fried rice my wife got the pad se ew, both were killer. I also really enjoyed the complimentary egg drop soup. I will definitely eat here again.

I keep coming back, so I guess it's OK! Sometimes the service is slow, even with few customers, but the food is fresh and good.

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.

I was immediately annoyed because the music was very loud to me. That could have been due to the empty restaurant, the actual volume or my perception of the volume lol. I was really hoping for a more intimate vibe for conversation. The speakeasy lounge actually looked more like the vibe that I desired but I settled in and placed my order. I wanted some of the showier selections seen on IG, so I ordered the tuna tower and flaming Romeo & Juliet roll and a cute (albeit sweet) cocktail that came in a goldfish shaped glass. When the tuna tower arrived the young server asked me something several times which I couldn't hear over the music, so I just nodded. After she smashed the tuna tower, I figured out she was asking if I wanted it mixed. Lol my bad! I actually did not want it mixed but it was delicious anyway. The Romeo and Juliet roll took forever to stop flaming but once it died down, it was absolutely delicious. My partner enjoyed his roll as well and they gave him a complimentary birthday desert with sparklers. Overall I give service a 3. I would have liked a more professional presentation of the menu, hyping it up a bit. And a less soft spoken server. The food was a solid 5, everything was fresh and scrumptious. Overall I give Uni'ko 4 stars and I look forward to returning. I thought it was a good value given the extra razzle dazzle and food quality.

Could be a nice, intimate place for dinner though we were seated next to a pretty loud group. Service was fast and friendly, which was appreciated. The meal itself was decent, not great. Tried the masago and snow crab off the sushi menu; the former was good, but the latter strangely dry, as if it had sat out a little too long. An appetizer portion of the shrimp and vegetable tempura was very good. Particularly puzzling was the unagi roll. Not only did each piece of the roll fall apart, it was doused with so much eel sauce that it was hard to taste anything else. Looking back on it, I should have sent it back to the kitchen. Of note was the tempura banana dessert, which was a sort of Japanese take on a sundae! Putting crisp, hot chunks of fruit up against sweet vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, and chocolate syrup (not berries as the menu claimed) was...well, interesting. I probably wouldn't order it again, but it is novel. Average it out and it's a decent place, though I would only come again if I was in the area for something else to begin with. This place scores a 3 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh.
