This place is amazing! I ordered the Pad See Eew Noodles the Green Curry Fried Rice and the Beef Pad Prik Khing. The service was very hospitable. The location is nice, the exterior of the building may seem different from its neighbors, but the inside is decorated well and looks very well kept. I was just looking for Pad Thai takeout, and another review convinced me to try here. The chicken Pad Thai was tasty and made per my request for NO spice. I wanted the fresh spring roles but they are made with prawns; I mentioned I was disappointed because I'm allergic to shellfish, but they said they would make them with chicken for me instead. They were really truly freshly made! I will definitely be back within the week for more fresh spring rolls, they are themselves a full meal. read more

Favorite restaraunt in Yakima! Delicious food. Good sized portions, always have leftovers. And very accommodating for us picky eaters. I've had the yellow curry fried rice and chicken pad thai several times, they always allow me to omit whatever veggies I don't like and also add the veggies I do like. My boyfriend like the beef pad thai with spicy level 5, his only complaint is that it's not spicy enough. Well I called and placed an order for two entrees. They don't post prices on their online menu and I quickly learned why. They told me it would be 10-15 minutes, I arrived to pick up my food in 20 minutes. They said it would be another 5-10 minutes. Oh well, things happen, not a huge deal. I asked to go ahead and pay the bill and it was 36.00 for two entress. That seems outrageous to me, especially for Yakima. Nearly 40 dollars for two entrees-I can't wrap my head around it. Then I get home thinking I just got some amazing thai food - and it was just mediocre. The pad thai was bland (they never asked me how spicy I wanted it and I forgot to ask as well) and it just didn't seem very flavorful. Would I give it another try? Absolutely. Thai House had the WORST fresh rolls and red curry I have ever had at a Thai restaurant. If it was a burger joint, this is what I would expect of their Thai food. My wife was also extremely disappointed with her Guy Pat Priao Wan (sweet and sour), and she is easily pleased with just about anything, just not this. Almost forgot, the texture of the rice paper used on the fresh roles nearly made her vomit, which was the best part of the meal for me, because it gave me a good laugh. read more

Absolutely delicious! My family eats Thai food in the puget sound area about once a week and this place really hit the spot. The food was fresh and our waitress was delightful. I wish the fried rice was less greasy and with more cucumber and other veggies. The food is consistently good though. My husband i and i just left lunch there. We got there at 12:30 and ordered right away. It took us 40 minutes to get our soup and 50 minutes to get our appetizer sampler and orange chicken. Sampler platter was missing the butterflies so they substituted spring rolls which were so overcooked that they dripped in oil and busted out both ends. Chicken way over cooked and dry. This restaurant has odd hours so it's hit and miss with my schedule but there Tom Yum Talay is so worth it!

So I keep hearing "support your local businesses" but it's hard to do that when I feel like I'm getting ripped off. I have ordered from this place once a month for the last few months and every time something is different. First time I got a chicken & shrimp pad Thai and paid about $15 for it, which was fine because I was able to feed my mom and I and still had some left over. This order had about 4 shrimp in it which was ok since they are more like prawns. Next time I went I just ordered chicken pad Thai and paid the same amount ‍ thinking it would be cheaper since I didn't get shrimp, but guess not. Again, it was fine because 2 of us ate and still had some left over. This time I went and ordered chicken and shrimp pad Thai. My order was $18 and some change. I was like mind blown. I noticed that the to go bag was a lot lighter than the other times. When I got home the portion size was smaller, and there were only 2 shrimp! No left overs either. I do love the pad Thai but don't think I will be coming back for a while.... too expensive and not enough food. read more
