This is probably my favorite thai-food place! Great service, great food especially their Pad Kratiam Prik Thai. So delicious! Portions aren't that big , but then you would not want this kind of food to reheat or repeat as it's best eaten fresh. It delivers in a reasonable time. We were very impressed with the quality of the food we ordered. We have been a regular at another Thai restaurant for some time and after ordering from Thai Inbox, we are now dedicated fans! The food was fresh, healthy and well-presented. The portions were also large so we both had leftovers. I also liked that there were many vegetarian options. Thai Inbox is really good, but the reason I keep ordering is you can sub brown rice on any rice item and everything is fresh. Delivery times are always quicker than they say too. Would like to say my comments below are just my own personal opinions about this business and for your reference only. I tried this place for the first time today and I must say the food I ordered was just average, service was not up to expectation and it was a little expensive. About food. The portion of the food was not too bad, it was definitely enough and you won't leave hungry. I ordered fried rice lunch special, added the beef for extra $1. Fried rice was just regular fried rice, totally nothing special about it and it wasn't even that good. It tasted like something I can make myself in 15 minutes and I know I won't be charging people $8.99 for it. Lunch special comes with an egg roll and a can of soda, they did not give me my drink. I didn't notice it until I got back to work and didn't feel like driving all the way back just to get my soda. The guy who took my order, a little strange and out of it. I walked up to him and asked him a question about their lunch special, he did not even wait for me to finish my question and said lunch special is only from Monday to Friday. I stood there in silence thinking to myself, well...it IS Friday otherwise why would I even be here!, then finally a nice lady next to me said to him today is Friday, then he laughed it off like nothing happened. I would have given it a 3 star but the fact that they forgot my can of soda and the weird service I received from the guy, I am giving it a 2 star, plus, the food is really just average, at best! Fast delivery, easy process of ordering, delicious food, convenient location and reliable.

I find it hard to locate GOOD Thai food in the suburbs, but this place hits the spot every time. We used to go to this place under the prior owner. The only difference we find with Thai Inbox is that the portions are slightly smaller and the prices are slightly larger. I've heard some people complain, but the Thai is so good that we are willing to pay the extra, even if we are getting less. They are definitely setup for carryout, instead of eating there. The staff is a bit rude, but I don't care if I'm just picking up and the food is awesome. On a few occasions the entry area smells like cigarette smoke. I often wonder if they are smoking in the back, but again....I don't care as long as my Thai food is high quality and taste authentic. I'm a fan, and I may have to order some tonight! read more

Food is five stars but I dont want to take a star off for their small sitting area. First off the food- absolutely the best thai food I have ever had. I have had numerous thai food in the chicago land area. I drive from the city to thai inbox. Thats how good it is. I also love my food super spicy. Most thai places say spicy but in reality its more sweet with barely tastable spicy. However, at thai inbox, they have different levels of spiciness. I always order level 5 spicy. Its so spicy that I am almost dying. Exactly how I like it. I love how the flavors of the food come out. Usually thai food is inundated with sweetness. Not here, all the flavors merge together to form deliciousness. Location- not so good. Parking lot is super packed all the time. The restaurant is mostly a takeout place. There are some high bar stools and narrow tables lining the windows . It is clean and well kept . Come here for the food. read more

Specifically we order the chicken and mixed vegetables and I think the vegetables are not as varied - they put a lot of onions in it now which is not really a huge draw (chicken and onions?) . Food was ok. Got carryout. Inside the restaurant at pickup I was completely overwhelmed by the strong pungent cigarette smell. It was awful and disgusting, almost left without even picking up the food. Very bad impression about the cleanliness. Will not be coming back. read more

Over all pretty good but it does have some down falls. Its not incredibly authentic but then again its made to american tastes and its hard to find authentic Thai around here so well give them the benefit of the doubt . The service is very friendly but at times may be hard to understand do to a accent. There is setting in the store but its more like eating takeout in one of there stools (this isn't necessarily a bad thing). So why the four stars after all the down fall? the food is very good given it can be unreliable but it is good food. The sweet and sour stir fry is good so is the curry noodle dish which I frequently have cravings for. In terms of beverages its pretty good the Thai iced tea is a little to sweet it's drinkable but not worth your money. The smoothies are very good and fast very fresh. The tapioca tea is very good with the down fall being that the tapioca balls can be a tad under cooked but it is not as much of a problem as do wise in downtown Wilmette. So over all a great Friday night take out place. read more

I would certainly give this establishment a BIG FAT ZERO.. I've been a long time customer and order at least once or twice a week. I work in the area and always send clients and whoever I know here because I like to support local businesses. The portions have gotten smaller for the price but it still beats eating fast food. Today we ordered $40 worth of food and always ask for couple hot sauces. The lady ran my card and I reminded her if I could grab a couple. She proceeded to tell me she just can't give me the hot sauces and she will have to run my card again. I was flabbergasted. I always mention on the phone that I need them so my point being if you're gonna charge put it on the bill, but to run my card again for .50 cents is disgusting. It's gonna cost the business more to swipe it a second time. Apparently, this business is sooo money hungry they'd rather lose a customer. What happened to good old customer service. Adios as we take our money elsewhere! read more
