We were quite skeptical pulling into the bare strip mall where Thai Land is located. My husband and I ordered the pad seeiw and red curry. With the first glance of the food upon its arrival, our skepticism of the place tripled. The noodles looked bland and didn't have much color except for the 2 whole pieces of broccoli. The curry also looked very watery, almost like a soup. However, once we tasted the food, all skepticisms were banished. The noodles were very flavorful and one of the best pad seeiws we've had; although we were disappointed there were only two pieces of broccoli in the dish.The curry was also flavorful with just the right about of spice. They do charge $1 for extra rice which isn't a big deal, other Thai places usually give it for free. However, with the low prices Thai Land offers, I can't complain! I knocked off 1 star for service. The waiter kept passing us and refilling the water at the neighboring table, but ignored our empty water glasses. read more

This has been my favorite Thai place in UT for some time now. Its hard to admit our last experience here was bad. Really BAD! Five of my co-workers decided to have lunch here on a Tuesday (yikes - my recommendation). The service started off un-friendly, and didn't get much better. There were about 4 other tables dining - which is very slow for the norm here, its usually packed. The items we ordered came out one-at a time, and when the last person's dish arrived an hour later - it was time to leave. I can not understand why, nor were we presented with any reason for this staggering of service. I felt awful that my co-worker had to take her lunch back to work to eat. This shouldn't happen. The food was not as fresh as usual, and the staff - unapolagetic. Bummer Thailand, I really liked this place. I am the type of person however, if the service is bad I don't go back. read more

Nice little restaurant located off 12300 so and just west of the freeway. It was our first time and I liked how nice and clean the place appeared, just felt comfortable. I had the green curry with chicken which was really good and my daughter had the chicken pho. Our favorite was the shrimp spring roll appetizer though the peanut sauce was a bit runny and not as flavorful. Prices were reasonable: 1.99 for soft drink or hot tea; pho was 9.95 and the curry around 10.89. I believe the spring roll was either 6.99 or 7.99. All in all a very nice experience and the owner was very pleasant. We will definitely be back, can't wait to try the pho. read more

Love this place. Been here about five times and the service is always great, food is great and always fast, and it's reasonably priced. I like the masman and panang curries with the spicy fried rice with pork. The beef satay appetizers with the peanut sauce are great too. And I always end up with enough to take home for another meal. read more

THAI HOUSE 2 IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS! The service is always prompt and friendly. There is always a table, which is surprising because their Lehi location is very busy on a Friday or Saturday night. Try the Masaman Curry, it is one of their best. I've been on the hunt for the best curry in the valley and so far (out of about 5) this place is my favorite. They aren't super consistent in their recipes but still good. Fairly small dining area but I usually get my food to go, so that's not an issue. In LOVE with the panang curry. I also like the massaman and the green very much, come to think of it I like the pumpkin too. Just the right spice but you can get it spicier. My husband loves their Pad Thai. Their spring rolls are yummy too. The service is always friendly, which I love. I keep going back but the only drawback is the location. I live in WVC so not super convenient. read more

Good food and large portions--a good deal for your money. The atmosphere inside is definitely lacking; good for lunch, but not good for a romantic dinner. If I could, I'd eat at this place every day. I crave it constantly! It's my favorite Thai place right now! Yes, the decor and space isn't the best but their food tastes very fresh and homemade. The service is friendly and very accommodating even with kids, (we had two little kids in our group). Every time I travel to Seattle I have Thai food every night and therefore I compare all Thai restaurants to those in Seattle. This is really great Thai food! We went to Thai Siam before but I have to say Thai Land is better. I suggest the Pad Siew or Yellow Curry or Pad Kee Mao. Definitely get the appetizer sampler. read more

We came late on a Monday for some take-out, hoping we wouldn't tick off the staff for being so late. To the contrary, we were greeted by the friendliest restaurant owner I've met in a long time! He chatted with us while the food was being made and I felt like I'd been coming here for years. The spring rolls were substantial and fresh, as were the veggies in the ginger stir fry. His is hands down the worst pad Thai we've had in the valley. We just moved here and this would be the 5th Thai place we've tried in the area and can easily say we won't return. Got our order to go, they use no sauce or anything. The noodles tasted just like cooked noodles, and the difference between a spicy and non spicy dish is them sprinkling a chili powder on top after the fact. This place is all about attention to detail: We got the Gyoza (potstickers) to go, and they cut a small hole in the styrofoam to-go container to let the steam out, so they wouldn't get soggy!!!! They were A-MAZ-ING. The volcano chicken is some of the best I've ever had outside southeast Asia, and my wife's papaya salad was HOTTT! Thai Land has been great since the beginning (when it was Thai House Cuisine). There are some Thai places where I prefer the curry over noodle dishes and this is that place. I love their Mango Curry more than anything else I've tried. My wife gets Pad Ke Mao and loves it. They have great lunch specials with amazing Tom Ka and a spring or egg roll. I thought the food was great, and the quantity was good too. I wish the curry had a bit more kick to it, but I guess I could have requested that when I ordered. We went there for lunch, and got there before noon, and it was empty. After we sat down and ordered our food, the place filled up fast and left people standing at the door waiting to be seated, so it was very popular for lunch. I recommend getting there before noon.
