Loved this spot! We were out killing time and I wanted some food! We stopped here because I…read moreabsolutely adore sea food! This place was beautiful. When we walked in we actually inquired about a dress code because we felt under dressed. And neither of us are really ever under dressed. There wasn't one so we took a seat the bar. This place is huge and beautiful. There is a gorgeous patio area and bar stools outside lining the indoor bar with garage doors that were open. I love an open air bar in the summer. It makes it feel so.... Summery. Our bartender was wonderful! Super helpful and accommodating. We spilt the lobster rolls because there were two of them and I never eat all of my food anyway. They split them up and gave us two plates with separate fries etc. The presentation was great. The food was delicious! I was working while we were there and needed to get on a few meetings so we ended up hanging out for about two hours. They were so good to us. Most definitely will be back!

The prices are high, but not as high as Ruth's Chris across the street and I actually liked the food better. I got the Lump Crab cake dinner and it is amazing! It comes with 2 crab cakes, mashed potatoes and green beans. I took leftovers and had a great snack later. My friend got the fish and chips and said it was delicious and he had leftovers too because it was a big portion. The service was great and food was phenomenal!

While there were a ton of people downtown Grand Haven (it was a Saturday night in the summer), we found parking immediately across the street and didn't have a wait for service. The service was good and food came out efficiently. We ordered the fish (cod) and chips basket with the stinky fry upgrade as well as 2 pieces of Whitefish, and a side cucumber salad. It came out PIPING HOT. The cod was flakey and delicious. Perfectly crispy and perfectly cooked. "Stinky fries" are absolutely covered in garlic. I didn't mind them, but am not much of a fry eater. My partner enjoyed them with the hot sauce offered at the window. He also enjoyed the Whitefish. The coleslaw is creamy with a slight kick (similar to the "kick" of a radish). The cucumber salad was really good. It was dill, cucumber, onion, and then some form of liquid (possibly a brine). Personally, my initial thought was that it's a bit pricey for what you get, but it's downtown Grand Haven so to be expected. Similarly served food at a *fancy* restaurant would probably be less delicious and we would wind up paying more. They do give you an ample amount of fries, also.

The fish is lightly battered and cooked perfectly. The accompanying sauce is creamy with a dash of dill. There are tables around the outdoor area. They had a nice nice crowd at almost 2PM.
