Just had my first experience here and the reviews are dead on!!!!!! Had the Drunken Noodles (about $8) it was delicious! They give you a spice range between 1-5. I had the 5 and it's not deadly but it'll definitely sneak up on you if you're not careful. They are a Thai place, so don't expect the same thing as Chinese and Japanese places. Went there for dinner tonight, 8:15 and I am the only one in the place. After the experience, I really hope this place makes it. Ordered the basil rolls as an appetizer, they were great and had a tasty dipping sauce that came with them. Garlic lamb was my entree and it came out just as I requested it: mild. Felt like being a pig, so i ordered their lotee for dessert; which is hard to describe but I loved. They don't have alcohol, but they do have thai tea so I was pretty excited. With tip, under 35 dollars, so the prices were fair. Attentive service, no crowds, good food, please tell me the Paulding curse won't strike this place and it will close soon. read more

Update: Thai Mango has gotten much better at managing orders during the pandemic. I now count them as one of the businesses that have adapted and improved during COVID. Food as always is on point and now with the Toast app they're worthy of a 5 star review. read more

The food here was pretty good and the pricing was reasonable but the service was very underwhelming. I drank two beers and in the time I waited I could have drank three. I wanted to try a real Thai beer but they were out but had a Thai Wheat thats bottled in Atlanta. Appetizers were served right before main course. I have been to Thai Mango a few times and the food has generally been pretty good. I went today for lunch and ordered the drunken noodles with veggies. I requested very little oil and reiterated that fact twice. Food came out and while it tasted decent, absolutely saturated in oil. Maybe a half to three quarter cups of oil on a lunch size order. Just nasty. Sent it back and left, very disappointed. I am giving three stars instead of two because I have had decent meals here in the past. read more

I'm new to the area so of course I need to find some good restaurants. I've been here twice now and at different times of the day. I've had a great experience each time. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is fabulous, amazing Pad Thai! Spring rolls and pot stickers are great! Really an A+ experience. I plan on coming back often! read more

This is a pretty good joint. The drunken noodles were very tasty! I just the least spicy option, which equated to no spice at all. I wish it had a moderate level of spice. Next time I'll know. The beef was pretty chewy. Not sure which cut they used, but I don't like chewy beef. read more

First time visit to this restaurant and I'll say giving these pandemic times they didn't disappoint. Especially since I was clueless on how to order. Their online ordering was very easy to use. They offered curbside pickup which was very quick and friendly. My mouth was watering in the car just off the aroma of the food. I ordered the curry puffs which I probably won't do that again. You can tell those are preordered and not made fresh in house. One of my puffs didn't have any feeling in it. You only get 3 with the order which I was slightly disappointed about. I also order the basil rolls, without peanuts in the sauce. I'm allergic to nuts. But they were amazing. Super fresh tasting but slightly sticky to hold. But were really really tasty. I highly recommend them as an appetizer. Next is the Tom Kha soup with shrimp. I only had two shrimp in it but I didn't even care. The soup itself is amazing. So full of flavor, with an excellent balance of the acid to the dish. I'm looking forward to going back just for more of this soup. And lastly I ordered the Pan Woon Sen dish with meat combo. It was good as well. I think in the next visit I will up my spice level (again this was my first time), add more sauce and request a little more veggies. All in all I was pleasantly impressed with the food. I will return again. I hope they can maintain this momentum. For right now they are winning. Its hard finding decent food during the pandemic. Okay, I hate to leave bad reviews but, I have to say this. My husband and I were soooooo disappointed with our last order. The spicy basil rice is one of our favorite basic dishes from any Thai restaurant so we know what it should taste like. The Thai basil rice at this place taste just like plain fried rice. There was no spiciness or flavor to this rice at all, and hardly any basil in the basil rice! We also tried the cucumber salad and it was sooo sweet, my goodness! It was like a salad dressing, not a salad. See the photo I posted. Why? I understand a sweet basil flavor, but we literally could not eat this. It tasted more like a sweet, soupy condiment, not a salad. Nothing about this meal was worth the cost. I had eaten here before, maybe a year ago, and the food seemed to taste better back then. I wonder if they are cutting costs now, and the integrity of the food is suffering. Anyway, we will not go back. read more

REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE We went inside the restaurant with my family that was visiting from Colombia and the server was kind of rude, we were a partie of 7 plus 2 little ones, they only have 1 long table for "partie" people were sitting at the table but at soonest we went in the people sitting at the table offered the table to us because they were about to leave. So we waited. When we were about to sit, the server came with a rude attitude again and told us that for partie of 8 we had to call an hour ahead and that we could not order anything, we were really disappointed of this restaurant, after struggling for parking in the rain, hungry kids and seniors and waited ... My family was very surprised. Thank God we went to TAKI !!!!! Way better customer service and we felt welcomed. Even though is not Thai food we felt happy that we left Thai mango. Don't waste your time with this restaurant..... Specially for the server that I wished I had her name to post it on this page so you could be aware. The soups were good with out meat and the sauces are good, but the meat (and this is like a huge thing for me I get the most grossed out by this) the meat is freezer burned. My sister and I ordered Massaman Curry with extra sauce. My order was in one container. A small serving of rice on one side and the curry on the other. There was no extra sauce (the woman said it was in the container). When I finally tasted the curry it tasted watery an had very little flavor. My sister opened her bag that was suppose to contain the same order. She got a separate box for her rice and her curry was in another container. The serving for her curry was extremely small and also tasted watery with very little flavor. We I paid $14 and she paid close to $20 (she got spring rolls). Our meals were inedible except for the spring rolls. Very disappointing to say the least. read more

Once you have has authentic you won't like any other place. This place has really good reviews, so I decided to try. I came here for Lunch and order the pad Thai. I made an emoji side frown, I knew it wasn't going to be good. It had a lot of sauce, the sauce almost taste like it came out of a remade bottle from the grocery store. I also had the basil roll, which was skimped on the basil, but the peanut sauce was good. Their Tom Kha soup was very delicious, I do give a thumbs up on that. I decided to try this restaurant while my husband was out of town. I had take out Yellow Pad Thai with chicken. It was delicious. I got heat level 2. I like spicy and will try the heat level 3 next time. What struck me as I was waiting for my order was the wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen area. Also all dishes came out piping hot. Surprisingly good. You'll enjoy the Thai selections here. The service staff is friendly and helpful and what you'd expect from Hiram, ga. They have big bowl soups that I haven't found in other Thai restaurants. Kind of like a Thai PHO. YUM!! Spice ranges from 0-5 and I usually have the 2 or 3 depending on mood. read more

Couple times I ate at this place, it was really good, then I am not sure what happened. Seems like either change in ownership or someone changed in the kitchen as the food doesn't taste the same. This somehow is the best and worst restaurant in Hiram. I've been coming here for 4 years and it just keeps getting worse. It used to have the best food awesome, just delicious. Then the service began to go downhill. Wait staff is slow and unresponsive. Tonight after not being able to call in my order due to a phone going unanswered I went to the restaurant. I watched staff turn away three different customers after quoting 45 min for some fried rice. I also saw them leave the phone off the hook so that they didn't have to take any phone orders. Now the food quality is suffering, pineapple fried rice with the pineapple forgotten. I wish the owner would realize the importance of running their business better. read more

I have eaten at this since I moved to Hiram. I was so excited to find a Thai restaurant that was done right. Unfortunately about a year ago it was sold. The customer service has since been awful and the foods flavor has changed and not for the better. I've moved on. I've fallen in love with Imperial Palace instead.
