Two Thai restaurants close by - we're actually regulars at the other spot but wanted to check out Thai Mom. Cozy and pretty interior (very typical Thai) with booths. The menu is bit more interesting with the addition of street food. Enjoyed our entrees, friendly service, will be back.

    Everything was sooo delicious!

Just stop here! It's sooo good. Every bite was perfect and Thai mom is so sweet. We had about 4 different dishes. Green curry, pad Thai, special mom dish, papaya salad, crab ragoons and dumplings. Everything is delicious--- I'll drive out here to eat here

The best Thai food I've had in a long time! My go-to spot for Thai food. ‍ I highly recommend!!!

A friend recommended this restaurant as a place to eat authentic Thai food. It was a hole in the wall and not super close to where I was staying but the food and service was great. The space was warm and inviting and the staff was so welcoming, they were very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I ordered the Crying Tiger and it was delicious, it was a great balance of flavors and ground pork belly over rice with a fried egg, that was out of this world delicious. The food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant was quiet but they had two families enjoying their meals. I ordered a green curry to go, for lunch the next day and it was delicious as well!

Delicious food! Enjoyed everything that we had, but the panang curry, pad thai, and Thai tea were my favorites. This place was actually recommended to us by the Srila Thai Massage salon that is nearby. It was recommended over an even closer Thai restaurant due to it being "more authentic." I'm glad we listened. Thai Mom provided great food and great service. Would highly recommend. Many thanks to Emmie and her team.

The restaurant in this location used to be called Thai Treasure - we're not sure if it was rebranded or completely new ownership but we decided to try it out since we were in the mood to try some restaurants in the Vienna area and we love Thai food. My partner saw that they had a raw crab papaya salad so he decided to try that. I knew I probably wouldn't enjoy it but I tried a bite anyway. You could really taste the rawness of the crab in the salad. As I guessed, it was not for me but my partner seemed to really like it. For my entree, I got the Tom yum noodle soup - they didn't ask me for the spice level and I forgot to ask them to adjust it. It is very spicy! Even my partner thought so and he can usually handle spicy food very well. Besides the spice level, I thought it was pretty tasty. It was not packed when we got there but the dinner rush started to come in as we ate our meal, which is always a good sign. The food came out very quick and the waiter kept coming to refill our cups. The service was excellent. Highly recommend if you're a Thai foodie lover bc they offer several specialty dishes that most Thai places don't have.

Good food. Nice location. My wife loved the tilapia and the papaya salad. I want to come back for sure.

Got beef noodle soup, cucumber salad, shrimp dumplings & sesame balls. The cucumber salad was the star!, with the beef noodle biggest miss (too salty, tastes like soy sauce broth). Sesame balls were addictive, even hubs liked and he's not big on Asian sweets. Friendly service, fun eatery for easy dinner.

The fried beef bao were highly flavored, included some cellophane noodles in them, and had plenty of delicious liquefied fat inside, kind of like a soup dumpling. We also had the steamed shrimp dumplings, which were the perfect mochi-gummy texture, and actually tasted like shrimp. For dessert we shared the fried sesame balls, which were correctly fried---nice and light and crispy outside. The sesame paste filling had a clear flavor which was separate from the taste of the outside. It's a tiny place, only about 15 or so chairs inside, and 2 outside. No frills. (None needed!) You help yourself to chopsticks, utensils, hot sauce, and paper plates. The plates come out one by one as they're ready.

I used Toast to place my order and simply went in to pick it up and it was ready on time for my arrival. I re-heated what I got in the microwave oven and that didn't take long and it tasted great. I got their cumin beef and their long pepper chicken. Both had the correct, and diverse flavors I enjoy from "non-American-style" Chinese joints. The heat level was also perfect; nice & spicy!! The textures of the proteins were spot on. The amount of seasonings and everything were great too. Definitely would return!

This place has a robust take-out business (DoorDash drivers running in and out). It's great for foodies, but also a noisy place (not ideal for a first date). Free parking is easy in a strip mall lot in downtown Vienna between the CVS and Giant. On the plus side, it has authentic Szechuan-style dishes, including dried cauliflower (savory blend of flavors with a hint of peppercorn), the baby bok choy with tofu skins (to enjoy and refresh the palate), Lazi Chicken (fried chicken bits with peppercorn), and stir-fry green beans. My sons devoured the Lazi Chicken dish and wished that it had more chicken chunks. Small bowls of white rice are included. They also have American-style Chinese food (e.g., kung-pao chicken) but we only ordered a small number of Szechuan-style dishes. On the minus side, it's a tiny space with a limited number of tables (most accommodate up to 4 people). Noise level is high, but maybe that was because it was Saturday night. Overall, we'll continue to order takeout from this place! But we may visit again during off-peak hours.

Sorry for the late post. I was really excited when my husband surprised me with a birthday dinner…read morereservation at Churasko last Saturday 3/28, but I'll admit I was a little nervous after seeing some mixed reviews on Yelp. Thankfully, our experience turned out to be absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the host was warm, welcoming, and very patient as we figured out which dining option we wanted. She clearly explained the different experiences--from the churrasco and Wagyu offerings to the sushi and small plates--and gave us time to look over the menu without any pressure. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with great ambiance and music that really set the tone for a special night. My husband chose the Platinum Tier dining experience for my special occasion and it was worth it. Our server, Mike, truly made the entire evening unforgettable. From start to finish, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain each dish, offered great recommendations, and made sure we were always taken care of. We started with Brazilian cheese bread, which was just okay, but the trio of flavored butters (gochujang, black sesame, and regular) was unique and delicious. Then came the Fire & Ice seafood tower, which was not only beautifully presented but also came with a dramatic tableside display. The grilled shrimp and oysters Rockefeller were excellent, and the chilled oysters and sashimi skewers were fresh and flavorful. The lotus chips on the side were also a nice touch. One dish that didn't quite hit for me was the lobster tempura--it was slightly salty and it was a bit soggy when I expected it to be crisp. However, the lobster bisque more than made up for it. It was hands down one of the best I've ever had--the broth was light but yet very rich and flavorful, perfectly executed!!! We were also served a shrimp egg custard that was interesting and enjoyable, though we were already starting to get full at that point! Then came the highlight: the unlimited premium meats. Everything from the A5 Japanese Wagyu to the lamb chops was delicious and high quality. The bone marrow pasta and Wagyu fried rice were standout favorites for us as well. The presentation throughout the entire meal was stunning--every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and visually beautiful. What truly made the night special, though, was Mike. He went above and beyond to make my birthday feel celebrated. He surprised me with all three desserts, a complimentary champagne toast, sparkles candles, and even two beautiful take-home gifts (a set of Japanese-style bowls like the ones used for the lobster bisque, with the restaurant's name on them). That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. We had so much food that we couldn't finish everything, and Mike kindly allowed us to pack up what we couldn't finished to take home. Overall, this was an incredible experience with outstanding service. Honestly, it was far better than when my husband took me to Hell's Kitchen a few years ago--we spent just as much there but received nowhere near the level of service or even a simple birthday acknowledgment. Highly recommend Churasko, and if you can, ask for Mike--he will take amazing care of you!

Went here to celebrate my brother's birthday for the whole family because I wanted to check this…read moreplace out after seeing it all over social media. Wow were we disappointed. We paid Michelin star prices for airport lounge food. That is how I can describe it. The silver and gold packages per person ARE NOT WORTH IT. They give you unlimited wine and beer but it's not wine you get to choose and they were out of the Japanese beer my brother wanted. They have house sake but you can't choose the sake you want. For the cost of what we paid per person (which includes tip) and the service reflects that. You could tell our server didn't want to come to our table very much at all. The only thing that blew me away with the gold package which is what we got was the grilled pineapple. The silver package sits you in the silver section with the silver buffet. The gold package sits you in the gold section with the gold buffet. You get the point so your party all has to do one of them...then there's the platinum which I will never find out about because it's NOT WORTH IT. I thought we were going to get lobster and oysters and all of the wagyu tacos I saw on instagram. I come to find out that is the à la carte menu and it is probably way cheaper than what we paid. The most disappointing thing was that we were told we were getting something called Australian and American Wagyus??? Yeah they were awful pieces of meat. I wanted the Japanese A5 Wagyu seared in front of me for $150 a person at a JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE. It's not the American steakhouse or the Australian steakhouse...it's Japanese...The Filet and Picanha were the softest pieces of meat they offered but even then I could have cooked and eaten better at home. Thank goodness the one great thing is that they didn't charge us for the 2 kids because there was no way they were going to eat $150 worth of food each. If they had charged us for the kids, it definitely would have been highway robbery. The sushi at their "airport lounge like buffet" wasn't great either. The sushi and seaweed salad was sitting out for awhile. It was my brother's birthday and we didn't get a cake- you could only choose 1 of 3 desserts from their buffet. I wanted to try the 4 milks cake but since we didn't know or do the à la carte we were limited to what they offered in the gold package. The ambience and vibes are cool. But definitely just stay downstairs and order off their menu. To do it right I would have gotten the first drink on the house for ladies at dusk and ordered from menu. I hate these kinds of steakhouses because you're always left feeling like you didn't get the quality -- you just got quantity. We felt defeated and I could have eaten better at Capital Grille or gone to a Michelin and at least would have felt more wow-ed! -after a $1,220 for 6 people, I honestly want my money back...

Note that some restaurants in the area put in tons of msg/salt, and this restaurant does not do that. Also, I have had the Vietnamese iced coffee here, and is is also spot on... with the hints of chocolate from the robusto coffee you would expect. I highly recommend. And, adding in deets from my wife, the Chay (veggie) version she feels is the best in the DMV area. The number 2 would be Pho 75 Rockville MD and then Mi La Cay in Wheaton MD. So they clearly recommend this for veggie soup as well. This time we are also trying the garden/summer rolls. They are also quite good. Up there with the best... but I can't pick one as better than another between Mi La Cay or Pho 85. So if you want the real deal, come here.

Compared to recent phos I've had at nearby Vietnamese restaurants like Pho Duong (Fairfax, Centerville) and Pho Hai Duong (Vienna), this soup was superior. However, there was way more soup than noodles so by the end of my bowl I still had half the soup and ran out of noodles and meat. For nearly $20 a bowl of pho, I am disappointed to be leaving hungry. For the lack of noodles & meat to soup ratio, and the high price ($40+ for two people for just pho???) I had to deduct two stars. The quality of meat and noodles were average and not nearly enough in quality or quantity to justify the price. Pho and bahn mis are street food and the Northern Virginia prices + shrinkflation are really getting out of hand. I was really rooting for this tasty pho place in my neighbourhood, but would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to Falls Church for better quality and value pho.
