I got the pad see ew, pad Thai, and udon noodles. The udon noodles were particularly delicious. The pad see ew was pretty traditional and didn't have a lot of vegetables in it. The pad Thai was spot on flavor-wise. I look forward to going back and seeing if their food and service are consistent. This visit I took the food to go. Solid Thai place, you can find better in the metroplex if you REALLY look but you can also find MUCH worse. The Pad See Eew was good, not as strong of a flavor as I've had at other Thai places, but definitely enough to hit the spot. My mom is not an Asian food aficionado so she got the chicken Pad Thai, which she enjoyed, much to her great surprise lol. We got spice levels 2 and 3, which was enough to feel the spice, but it's not so aggressive here, more of a slow burn. If you like to regret everything in your life, you'll probably need to step up to 4 and 5 to have any chance of dying due to spice. I've been to Thai places with much more aggressive spice than this. In terms of flavor, it reminded me of Tom Yum soup but a bit more savory. My friends ordered the Panang Curry and Green Curry, and those also came with huge portions of curry and rice. Both were delicious, though I think the Panang Curry was the one I liked more of the two (it is sweeter). We also got the Steamed Dumplings (5) as appetizers, which were wrapped in a way like shu mai, and they came with a really nice sweet soy sauce-based dumpling sauce. A Thai restaurant in the Carrollton town center with all the classics - curries, fried rice, entrees, noodle dishes, and even soups like Khao Soi. It was easy to get seated and get service quickly even on the weekend. I tried the red curry with chicken, which came with lots of vegetables, meat, and a pleasantly large serving of rice too! I've been to the Richardson location and this new one just was not up to par. We got pad kee mow, crispy chicken green curry and another curry dish I can't remember. My pad kee mow came out very sweet, and my friend's crispy chicken green curry had way too little curry. She had more rice than curry and the kitchen couldn't give her any more curry to eat with the rice. The other curry dish wasn't supposed to be spicy but came out spicy. read more

I'll rate dishes that we ordered Pad Thai - extremely sweet, lacking sour and salty elements. Sriracha herbal chicken fried rice - Sriracha fried rice lacked flavor for a fried rice. Herbal chicken was the best dish we ordered, but still just ok. My biggest dislike was that there were slices of lemongrass that adhered to the chicken (probably from the herbal marinade), so while chewing the chicken you get surprised by biting down on thin slivers of hard lemongrass. If the chef reads this, mincing the lemongrass or pulsing it in a food processor would fix this. Crab Rangoons - again extremely sweet Kids orange chicken - (finished daughters left overs at home) chicken was bland and dry, the orange sauce wasn't flavorful enough to compensate 2 stars for the food, 3rd star is for the server. read more

Great place for Thai food! The service was great and their portions were huge! We got turnip cake, curry puffs, pad see ew, Tom yum soup, pad kee mao, spicy crab noodle, and crab woonsen. This was a first time visit for me with a friend. We stopped in on a whim. We were greeted by the staff and seated promptly. Our waiter was nice and attentive but he didn't speak much. We received our food pretty quickly and it was hot and definitely spicy. But establish meant was quiet as there weren't a lot of people in there. So we were able to have a conversation without having to talk louder and we can hear each other. I did enjoy the food and the flavor was good. You do have to like Thai food as the seasonings and the spice levels are not for everybody. I had a level one spice do too heartburn and whatever but I do like spicy food. Just be mindful that their spice is not the same as the American spice. I wasn't particularly a fan of the green curry because it tasted like basil or parsley or something earthy. If you're into that type of flavor then you will enjoy this dish. The chicken noodle dish always a favorite always an easy go to. The spring rolls were also delicious and crispy. I was not a fan of the soup that they give you as part of the lunch dinner combo option. However my friend did enjoy that soup and ate both of them. The soup and the green curry soup are two different things. I could see myself going back if I'm in the area and I want to Thai food.
