Always a hit! Nice, clean, chill atmosphere with open seating. Every time I go the food is always amazing. It fresh, flavorful, and filling but leaves you wanting more yumminess despite being full. When ever I'm not sure what I want to eat this place always satisfies. The owners and staff are always nice. They have these candies you get when you pay for your meal and they're so good. Edited: Yummy Thai food without traveling to the city. The menu seems to have changed somewhat, so I have had to venture out to find old favorites. It now tastes similar to another place I've had somewhere by Quail Springs that was Mai Tai before and is now going by another name. The closest thing to their prior menu I've had I found way North on Penn next to Mazzios on either 122nd or Hefner. I miss some of my favorite appetizers and entrees and they have some of them. I would love to see some of the older menu put back into the mix. Not Panang, my husband said it was called Thai Stop. And The owner of this business harassed me through the compliment feature. I now urge anyone to avoid that place. It is creepy that you feel necessary to do so. I don't care about where recipes come from, just about how I personally believe the food tastes. I also like two places on May, one is bistro 36 and they other I can't recall, but is close to a church. While I do love Thai food, with Bangkok being my favorite when it was open, I don't have any friends that make it. You sir are a creep. The ordering process was easy, the meals were prepared in less than 10 minutes (ready before I could drive to the restaurant and we were notified via text message that they were ready), the quantity of the orders is plentiful, and the people were very friendly. This is an amazing veteran owned business that I have been eating at for years, and because of my most recent experience, I will continue to support until the day I can't make it there any longer! I ordered a bunch of food for my kids and I, upon receiving the DoorDash order I noticed that I was missing a rice with my massaman curry, so I called the restaurant just to make sure that I was suppose to receive the rice and the owner himself offered to drive the order of rice to my home personally. Normally I would say "of course not, I'll come get it myself but thank you!", but this happened to be during a time that our family dog was very ill. This place is a little diamond in the desert of Mustang/Yukon ethnic cuisine. I have been longing for a Thai place near home that didn't require a 20 minute drive to get there. Prior to their opening, I always went to Panang and their evil jungle chicken curry was the curry against which all others were measured. That's not the case anymore! The devil curry at Thai Orchid has now topped that! Spicy, creamy, and so flavorful!! The pad thai here is also worlds apart from others I have had in the area. It's not just a sweet sauce with no punch - there is a depth of flavor in their sauce that has always been lacking for me in other pad thais I have had. Wow...best Pad Thai I've had. Got it with Tofu. Chicken satay was very tasty with the peanut sauce. The freaking pineapple fried rice can in a pineapple with grilled pineapple...off the charts. Due to a snowstorm, employees had gone home for the day and only the owners were left. Caught them while they were wrapping up and practically closed, but they were super nice about it and got the kitchen back up running just to accommodate me. Excellent service! Found this little gem via Yelp as we were preparing to spend the night in OKC during our trek back to AZ from IL. We went on a Friday evening around 6:30 and plenty of tables were available. Don't let that fool you - they do a healthy take out business. We had Pad Kee Mao and Panang Curry along with the fried veggie spring rolls. Everything was great and we wished we could try other things, but were too full. Portions are healthy. The owner was pleasant and even visited with us a bit. We enjoyed it very much and recommend giving it a try. Don't judge them on simplicity of decor - open only a year, this is a local gem providing great food in a tough business with thin margins.
