We've been going here for years. This is probably our favorite casual Asian place in Columbus. The food used to be AMAZING...it's still pretty darn good. They're short staffed right now and seem to have been really effected by the pandemic. When we went back for the first time since they reopened their doors to dine-in customers, the owner was waiting on 8 tables by herself. Surprisingly, we still felt well taken care of while dining and the wait for food wasn't long at all. I was SUPER disappointed in this food, especially after reading all the reviews. The food was almost inedible. The egg rolls were soft and mushy. The main dish (Pad Pa Khing) was not good at all. It had little flavor and the green beans tasted like they needed to be washed. I dropped by after work to pick up for dinner. The restaurant was dead and my food was sitting out before I arrived, so it was cold. I just cannot say enough horrible things about my experience. I just don't understand these reviews. read more

It was not good. Had the General Tso chicken. Meat was so over cooked and chewy I had to pick out the chicken. Ordered the crab ragoons (sp). I have no idea what it was they gave me. They were so bad I couldn't eat them either. Very disappointed. read more

Ordered take out for 3 people. Cost $40. Ate- thought it was good. Decided to eat leftovers the next day and found a dead bug in the bottom of my pad Thai. Never eating at Thai Paradise again. Super disgusted I ate food with a bug in it TWICE. Edit: ok. Sooo.... even though that experience seriously scarred me, I have been back to Thai Paradise because apparently I am addicted their Pad Thai. I've never had better. I do have to pour my take out into a casserole dish and check for unwanted nasties in there before I can eat (I have found none), I continue to order from there. I've given the business the benefit of the doubt because they had recently moved locations at the time and I guess things like that might happen... somehow... I don't know. Maybe I'm an idiot but dang it, that pad Thai is really good. The owner contacted me and was very kind, offering me a free meal but... I just wasn't ready for that at the time... I mean... BUG! Can't believe we waited so long to try this place. We got calamari, himmapan chicken, and vegetable lo mein. Everything felt very fresh and different from the standard Chinese restaurant. The lo mein for example wasn't oily or greedy and just felt light and clean. I would deff recommend. read more

Went out a little bit past Downtown to discover some Thai Food. Even though the restaurant is kinda small, I do feel cozy when it pack with people. The whole restaurant is fill with different traditional Thai décor. I think their food taste decent and capture the right amount of seasoning. If I need to be picky, the Thai Iced Tea is a bit on the sweet side for me. read more

The owner is humble and serves, buses, and cooks while she personally tends to you. I feel at home whenever I go there because of the warm welcoming! We moved to the Pickerington area from the short north where we dabbled in many date nights trying all the best foods of Columbus. We've been trying to find some good places in the Pickerington area and use yelp for many decisions. We ordered take out, so we can't take speak volumes to the service or atmosphere of this business, but I would not recommend the food. We ordered the Pad Thai combo with chicken and shrimp, garlic pepper calamari, and drunken noodles with chicken. I LOVE PAD THAI!! Our food was hot, so that was not an issue as it can be with pickup. The pad Thai had no flavor, all you tasted was old grease/oil. Even the shrimp had an old oil flavor, it was disgusting we didn't eat but one bite. We also didn't eat the garlic pepper calamari as many previous reviews recommended. My husband ate some of the drunken noodles, but the flavor was below average. Take your business down the street to Jasmines Thai we've had nothing but great food there and will not be returning our business to Thai Paradise. read more

Funny. Informative. Courteous. Attentive. The food. I had a steaming pot of raspberry ginger tea (it was freaking 14 degrees out). Just like the server promised, it gave me that sweet ginger burn. Yum. We had fresh rolls. No skimping here! Packed out with veggies. And they gave me peanut sauce along with the chili sauce at no extra charge. Appreciated. Garlic and pepper calamari was delicious. It could become a very addictive dish. I kept wanting to put it in my mouth even though I was getting full. Must. Eat. More. We shared a main dish of Massaman Curry. Close to as you can get to authentic Asian food as you can get. My mother was Asian and she enjoyed their food. They have good regular hours, at least they did prior to Covid. As far as i can tell, it has high standards of cleanliness. I would say that you won't be disappointed and do recommend that you dine out here. read more

I was happy to learn about Thai Paradise and am even happier now after my first visit. The food was really good & is certainly the best Asian food I've had in the Pickerington area. Their prices are very reasonable and considering the generous portion sizes, you really get your money's worth. We tried Chicken Pad Thai, General Tso's, and Spring Rolls today and all were very good. We finished our meal with a shared Mango with Sticky Rice dessert. It sounded odd, but was actually quite delicious. The service was terrific. Our waitress was genuinely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Decided on Chicken Larb today. It was VERY good!! The waitress brought it out, and I dug in. Only after a few bites did I realize I forgot to order it not spicy. My mistake, but it was so good I continued on. After about right minutes, my mouth was on fire! I caved in and requested their Island Chicken dish. Aisa, our server, was so nice: She offered a new dish of Larb without the hot spices, if I would like. I jumped on the offer, instead of the Island Chicken. I'm very happy to find another successful thai place near my house! The pad see ew? With beef was delicious!!!! I love the thick noodles and the flavor was what i had imagined! And my friend devoured his general tsos! The papaya salad was okay at first but it kept getting spicier with each bite that both me and my friend ended up coughing lol! I don't think we will be ordering the salad. I would definitely go back to try other dishes! The one star off was because the egg drop soup was weird. It tasted like canned chicken noodle soup with eggs. That was not what i wanted. We had heard good things so decided to get take out on a busy Monday. I got pad Thai and my husband got chicken pho... both were very good. Large portions! The pad Thai has a lot of flavor and I appreciated that the peanuts were on the side. We also got crab Rangoon, edamame and mini egg rolls. I gave 4 stars only because the crab Rangoon had cheddar cheese in them, even my eat-everything husband turned down the left over rangoons. We get crab rangoons every time we see them on the menu and this was the first time we saw them with cheddar cheese... Skip those! The edamame and mini egg rolls were tasty and nice portions - make sure you ask for sweet and sour sauce, ours only came with one tiny cup for 2 orders of rangoons and egg rolls. This place is amazing!! I went to Thai Paradise with a group of friends and we're all from out of town and thought this place looked good, and thankfully we were right! We ordered calamari, fried tofu, chicken satay and crab rangoon as appetizers, and I had the drunken noodles for lunch. You know a restaurant is authentic when they have sticky rice for dessert and I had fried plantains and ice cream. I've been here twice with a friend. Each time the service was fantastic. The servers were attentive but not suffocating and very friendly. The food came out in a timely manner. I had the calamari, the egg drop soup, crab & shrimp friend rice, naum touk & a scallop dish (the menu online doesn't show it, & I can't remember the name. My friend got dumplings and chicken pineapple curry. She enjoyed both her dishes. The naum touk & scallop dish were well seasoned and terribly salty. I would never get these again. I love this place. The newer location is a much better environment. The other place was smaller but the food quality was he same. I have not had a bad meal here. The wife and I could eat here a lot and not get tired of it. I'm a huge fan of the spicy chicken. U can ask for it spicier on a scale of 1-5. I usually go 3 and it is just right. After craving Thai food dor a couple weeks I decided to look for restaurants near me to try. I stumbled upon Thai Paradise and I'm glad that I decided to go! The Chi else style dumplings were delicious and the Pad Thai definitely satisfied my cravings. Very Yummy! What really set the bar though (because I hardly ever give anything 5 stars) was my waitress, Rasamy! She was so nice from the beginning and held great conversation with me.
