I love this place. Their chicken lo mein is excellent and their fried wontons are very good as well. Everything else my family has gotten from here has been good too, never ever had a bad meal. Seating inside is sparse but we always order to go. I recently had my tonsils out (horrifying experience) and the only thing I could stomach was their wonton soup. I highly recommend this place. I've been to both the Pickerington and the newly opened Athens one and have been very pleased with both locations! The people who work there are both knowledgeable and friendly, it's truly a pleasant experience! Both locations are smaller but very comfy! Thai Paradise is true paradise for your taste buds and wallet. Everything we had from the dumplings, crab Rangoon, crispy green beans, and lettuce wraps for appetizers to the pad thai, Moo gra tiem, pad lo, and cashew chicken for entrees were all delicious. Just ate here for the first time after reading the reviews on Yelp and was not disappointed at all. Very nice atmosphere, good service. We did not get Rasamy (who is mentioned on here frequently) but noticed her as she waited on the table next to us. Will definitely ask for her next time as she is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu(no offense to our waiter today who was very good) . Our food was perfect. I ordered the Pattaya Shrimp which came with wonderful vegetables, cooked perfectly. My mom ordered the Singapore Noodles with Chicken and she enjoyed hers as well. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Definitely will return but next time will be more adventurous and ask for Rasamy's recommendations. You don't come here for the service... in fact, if you do, you will be SORELY dissapointed because the entire wait staff acts like they'd rather be someplace else and it shows in their service!! But the food... holy SMOKES, it's SO good. May I suggest TAKE OUT, so you don't want to strangle the petite waitress who thinks her good looks alone will get her thru life... My wife and I would go here whenever we needed to steal away for a quick date. It's local, tasty food, and the value wasn't bad for the money. One day recently though we decided we could no longer go there. There was blue gum in my daughter's food. Unfortunately, this can happen at many restaurants, however the way the manager handled the situation is what made us turn our backs on their business. I was willing to forgive the situation but the manager was rude. He stated, "none of my employees are allowed to chew gum, and I'll check with everyone". When he came back he stated no one was chewing gum. Most of my family (5 of us, with a 6th to go) usually eat Asian food family style. So naturally we could not determine which plate had the offending gum. The manager's rude comment was accompanied by an offer to knock off two of the meals. Normally I probably would have accepted this, but with his rude remarks, body language, and I'm guessing his thought were I was trying for a free meal left me angry. I offered a different suggestion: I'd pay for the egg rolls, the drinks, and the meals my daughter didn't partake in. These foods I could be certain the gum was not in, and those foods I could take home for the left overs. He waved his hands in anger, and said never mind, don't pay for at all and stomped away. The poor waitress who did a fantastic job came back and offered her apologies again (she did a great job). I told her it wasn't her fault, and I appreciated her. I told her what just happened and asked her to ring me out for what I offered to the manager. She agreed, and I left her more than 20% on what the original bill would have been. Sadly, we won't return to this restaurant. While I was always slightly more than neutral to this place, my wife loved it. We were regulars, and now don't have a place we truly enjoy for our Asian taste buds. read more

My family, friends and I love Thai Paradise! Their hot and sour soup is so good and spicy. Their drunken noodles are fantastic but are very, very hot!!! I usually ask them to make them with mild spice which is still pretty hot. Their lad nah is really tasty and contains broccoli, carrots and onions in a brown gravy. My daughter always orders the kids pad thai which is enough to feed an adult at half the price. The noodles are always really good. We've always had great, personal service here and have no complaints. Highly recommend! read more

Do Not waste your time. My family and I tried take out and ordered typical Chinese take out dishes. Their General Tso chicken tastes more like a Thai peanut chicken sauce. Their "dumplings" are dried out ground up chicken. And they gave us cold over cooked veg egg rolls instead of crab Rangoon. The managers solution was to have me drive all the way back to get a new order of crab Rangoon. Not good food. Poor service will not be going back. read more

Giving this 2 stars because the food was great. But, our waitress was HORRID. Her name was Alycia (that's what our bill said). I really didn't want to do this, but I feel like I must warn everyone. I was so floored by the comments she made... I did not order a lot of food because I wasn't super hungry and she actually said "No fatties allowed"... Excuse me?! I dont think this kind of joke would be acceptable anywhere that is professional. She then went on to say something about me dieting. I ordered dumplings and didnt enjoy them too much, so I of course didn't finish them. When she saw my plate, she QUESTIONED me! "Oh did you not like them?" Followed up with a sarcastic apology. I've come to this place several times. Although I believe they've changed chefs a few times, the food is always consistently good. I would definitely recommend this place. Good menu selection and service. The only down-fall is in winter it seems like overtime someone walks in the door a huge blast of cold air shoots in. My family and I went to Thai Paradise for my birthday dinner. The food was ok, the waiter did not write our orders down and it resulted in our checks being incorrect! The female manager that evening came to our table and loudly announced that one of four checks had not been paid! Mind you, each of us had our respective cards swiped already! It took them 1 hour to resolve this discrepancy! They ran our cards 3 times before this matter was resolved! We're hoping that we weren't double billed at this point, so we're playing the waiting game. Needless to say, I will not be going back! read more

Not bad for a Chinese food restaurant. Curry wasn't quite right. Real Thai prices for: meh.

They used to be just down the road next to the Old Bag of Nails and at that location they were great. They moved and are nor across the street from the Toco Bell. Something has changed and it is not good. We ordered take out like we have done many times. The portions were smaller and the food was over cooked. A few of our friends have told us they also went to the new location and had a bad experience and will not eat there again. I hope they will improve so we have decided to give them some time and just maybe we might try them again to see if they improve. They were so good before we hate to give up on them. read more

I am a regular "Take Out" customer of Thai Paradise. We ordered at least 2-3 times per week - as we cannot cook at home due to a sick baby who is on his 5th antibiotic in 3 month. Today is 9/10/2019. My wife ordered via phone at 6:05 (Chicken Wasugai and Vegetable Green Curry - with fried rice), and picked it up around 6:40. We started to eat at close to 7PM. As we put rice in the plate, we noticed right away the the rice is bad (almost spoiled - smelly old rice). I called to get replacement. She said that I need to bring both boxes of fried rice to get two boxes of fried rice replacement. What? Do I have to put their spoiled rice back, from our plates, into their box, drove to their restaurant just to get replacement? I told them that I can bring the one box (which was unused), and want two box replacements, and they said that if I bring one box, I would only get one box of replacement. I went back to the restaurant with everything in it (even boxing up their bad rice from plates) - but instead of replacement, I asked for refund. They said "We did not give you spoiled food. And, We don't do refund. We can cook replacement". Would you eat "Replacement" when you know they are using old or stale or spoiled rice - and after argument? No, I won't either. Since they don't give refund, I took the whole thing back with me, and putting . BTW... We ordered three dishes yesterday (9/9/2019) - Mala Tofu, Spicy Eggplant, and Chicken Wasugai. Everything was good. We ordered last Friday also. Everything was good then too. As I mentioned, my wife and I are good customer eating about 2-3 times per week. Never made any complaint until now. And, they treated me as if I am scamming them - for a box of rice? Terrible customer service. It took us nine years of living in Pickerington to try Thai Paradise. I wish we would have tried it sooner but I have to be in the mood for Asian food. I was also concerned that the food would be too overly spicy/spiced for me but this concern was not warranted as they also serve more traditional Chinese food. The decor' was subtle and not over the top. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was very good. More flavorful than the average takeout place and you can tell the ingredients were fresh. My only criticism is wanting more chicken in my dish. We will definitely be back for take out and eat in. read more

This is the best Asian-themed cuisine in Pickerington, and probably most of the east side. Eat in or carryout. When we first tried it years ago, they only had the Thai menu offering. They have since expanded to have Chinese and Korean (Korean may have been on the early menu, can't remember, but Chinese definitely was not). From the curry menu, I usually get green curry which is delicious. But I can't lay off the steamed dumplings, off the Chinese portion of the menu. I get dumplings most places to try them; these are definitely in my top 5 of best ones. Salads are also good here. read more

I had a difficult time finding good Thai curry in this town and I've went to pretty much every Thai restaurant available in the Columbus vicinity. But I was always disappointed and none ever met my expectations. Of course, I have high expectations since I've lived in Thailand for a few months and crave for authentic curry. I finally found the perfect curry that exceeded my expectations in Thai Paradise! It's got so much flavor, thick, with a variety of fresh ingredients. It also had just enough kick to it! The service is excellent with highly attentive and courteous staff. The restaurant decor is also very welcoming and cozy. Other food, such as the satay, calamari, pad thai, pho were excellent as well. I've never had pho that had so much flavor, requiring minimal hoi sin and chili sauce.
