We were out this way for a quick weekend getaway , and came across a Groupon for this restaurant. This place actually exceeded our expectations. Usually, it's next to impossible to do two completely different menus from different ethnicities, but they really nailed it. We ordered the chicken drunken noodles (one of the best I've had), lomo saltado (very good), BBQ fried rice (very good), and the pork spare ribs (a little sweet for our liking but they still were good and tender). I have been here quite a few times and love this restaurant! I've really only tried 3 of their dishes: Yellow Chicken Curry, Pad Thai, and Wonton Soup. All of them are incredibly delicious and by far the best Thai food in Camarillo. The servers are sweet and accommodating and always remember me from my ridiculously picky requests which they always perfectly accommodate. The decor is authentic. They offer some Thai beers and Thai tea to compliment your meal. I'm a huge fan of the dinner special which is half a serving each of Yellow Curry and Pad Thai, it's perfect and reasonably priced! Just be forewarned, you cannot pay for this or any other special (including lunch specials) with the Groupon or Yelp coupon. We always come here before we hit the Tuesday movie special at Roxy (right in the same parking lot). read more

Came here for a co-workers retirement lunch. We all arrived within 10 minutes of one another. Everyone but one person got their food. The server forgot about his food. When asked it seemed they gave it to someone else in our party since they ordered the same thing just different levels of spicy. The kitchen ended up making two fresh entrees. Throughout the time we weren't checked on to see if we needed refills and the sever was no apologetic for forgetting the food. When handing our receipts after our cards were ran she was giving people the wrong receipts. I ordered the lunch special cashew nut with chicken and brown rice. The food is the main reason why I gave them 3 stars. It was delicious fresh and a good portion for the lunch special since it includes soup, salad and an egg roll. Ordered Gyoza, it smelled so funky I couldn't get past that to eat it. Normally smells of my Thai food make my tummy rumble cause I'm excited to eat! Not cause I'm grossed out. Also ordered Tom Ka w/chicken. Chicken was dry (in a soup, weird right!?) but the soup broth was great. Overall not worth the money spend and waste since I tossed almost all of it. A few people came in after us and were helped with to-go orders. This was my 4th time ordering the Chicken Pad Thai, they were all pretty good but the noodles were always very sticky and clumped together, still very tasty though. But OMG!! Whoever was the cook tonight made the best chicken Pad Thai I have had with Thai Peru. No clumping and it just tasted so good. I normally only eat about a 1/4 of my order, but tonight I am so stuff because I ate 3/4 of my order, they have very generous portions and literally had to force myself to stop eating because I was so full...but it was soooo delicious!!! Very underwhelming, I had two curries, a yellow and a green. The chicken pieces tasted funny, avoided them entirely, and the curry was too thin and basic, no real flavor. Got a chicken pad thai as well and again the chicken tasted weird. The pad Thai was disappointing and bland, the most flavor it had came from the funny tasting chicken. A few days ago I had a delicious meal from Thai Peru. The yellow curry, Pad Thai and Pad see yew as so good and I would order again, and again. From the time I placed my order to the time it was delivered (free delivery by the way) was very fast and the food arrived HOT! I ordered my food and thought I would do some work while my food was cooking being that I drove from Santa Clarita . My food came out and I was eating and I notice this guy talking to this employee very rude and condescending just to be honest very disrespectful. So I ask the waitress is the the manager and she said yes so I said to her why is he talking to her like that and she was quite like she didn't want to say anything . So I continued to eat and he still was on this girl like come on I want to eat I just paid for my food and I told the waitress I'm going to talk to him because I can't even eat this poor girl was getting the 3rd degree and now I just lost my appetite. So I went up to the girl and I told her sweetheart don't let anyone talk to u like this it's wrong . And he started yelling at me and told me to mind my business I'm like wait I'm a paying customer and I am minding my business u made this my business when I'm trying to eat and all I see and hear is u on this girl .. And ur not going to believe this ! He told me that the girl he was going off on was his daughter. And I ask him If I can ask for the # to the owner ... wait and he says really loud to my face I AM THE OWNER! And do I have a daughter and I tell him yes I do and I can tell u my husband wouldn't talk to my daughter like that .. And it went on ... I just still feel really Bad for his daughter.. I mean how would he feel if another man talked to her like that . Shame on u as a poor example as a father . It seem like everyone was scared to answer to him ..
