Some of the BEST Thai food I have ever had. Also one of the nicest decors I've seen in a Thai place...with Crystal chandeliers, etc. this would certainly be a great date-night place. It gets 1 star for the setting. This was my second visit, thought I didn't order the right thing last time so decided to give it another try. The first time the chow main dish I ordered was void of flavors. The dish looked pale and bland. This time I got the BBQ chicken and pork fried rice. The meet was disgusting. The pork looks like they had just steamed or boiled it and left the fatty pieces on there. No flavor. The chicken was stiff. Like it was left over from 2 days ago and they just microwaved it. I hope I don't get sick. It was nasty. Now for the service, I was the only one at the restaurant around 3pm. Service was awful. Made an online order at around 4pm which said it would be ready at 4:21pm . Walked in at around 4:25pm expecting my order to be ready. Waited to even get any ones attention for a few minutes. The server was just sitting there scrolling on her phone. I was able to get her attention and asked for my order. Was told it would be another 15 to 20 minutes for my order. ( I don't believe they even saw that they had an online order) I was also told that one of the items I ordered they didn't have. So I'm slightly annoyed at this point Came back at around 4:55pm to pick up order. Food was ready. Cool. Ask why it took 40 minutes for two rolls rice and chicken. I was told that they were very busy. No one was even there. I asked if they refunded us for the item they said they would do it later. I came here with my parents at around 8:15pm on a Wednesday night and there was a table of four besides us. We got Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice and Mango Sticky Rice. The Mango sticky rice was pretty good, but what made our dining experience horrible was the fact that we had to turn on my flashlight on my phone almost the entire time because there were fruit flies flying around since we sat down, which obviously made our dining experience horrible and discomforting. On top of that, we had to get up multiple times to get the waiters because no one was coming to check up on us, even though we were the only customers left in the restaurant. However, they did give us $5 off for the flies that ruined all our appetites. read more

Man! This is the best Pad Thai in Ventura County , the inside restaurants Decor reflects that traditional Thai restaurants and even the ladies or the servers are dressed in traditional Thai attire. The food is mouth watering delicious but my favorite is their pod Thai. I also love the fact that they accept the access card which gives me a 15% off just about any food item they offer. If you don't have the Access card just ask them how to get it, it's well worth it. I definitely will be eating here more often , especially if I need to order take out. read more

This place is the best! let me just say that first off, I had NO idea that Peru was in Thailand. Had I known that when I travelled to Bangkok, I certainly would have stopped in Machu Picchu. I guess I should have paid attention in geography class. Anyway, The food here is absolutely amazing. I usually like my food on the saltier side (its actually why I like Chesters Asia so much for Chinese food) and this place did not disappoint at all. My wife and I go to this restaurant at least once a week. Dominick the manager is very helpful and service orientated as well as the staff.Sometimes they are very busy but always stop by to check on us.This is our favorite restaurant as there are so many choices on the menu and the portions are so massive, I usually have to take home. Their Chow Mein combo is really great and plentiful, cant get enough but if you just want shrimp or beef or chicken only it comes that way too! They also have a great Sushi menu. The Ribs are out of this world cooked with a sauce and pineapple!! Curry,curry curry! Combo fried rice!! I've eaten here countless times over the past 8 years or so. It was my go to thai place in camarillo. It's never been the greatest food, but for the price and value, it was way better than the alternative places in town. But I've never experienced what occurred last night. I ordered the dinner special which is yellow curry and pad thai. Pretty basic! The yellow curry was as it usually is, kinda thick and a bit too sweet, but whatever... it's consistent with how they do it. The problem was the pad thai. It smelled like fish, and tasted like fish, and not in a good way. My friend who also ordered the pad thai had the same thing going on. I waited for the waitress to come by, and 5 minutes pass without seeing her. She finally comes into the room and goes and takes the order of another table. I wait until she's through taking their order, I call her over and she doesn't hear me and leaves the room. Who knows how long it will be before she returns, so I grab our plates and take them over to the kitchen area to tell her they taste and smell like fish. She tells me, "no they don't" "there's no fish in the pad thai" then proceeds to tell me that there is fish in the pad thai, just in the form of fish sauce. I was a bit perturbed by her indignant and combative attitude but she offered to re-make the food, this time without the "fish sauce" The food came back out, and it was just ok; Rubbery, dry chicken and just kinda bland overall. What absolutely killed it for me was the service and the attitude of the waitress. When she was clearing our plates she asked if it was any better. And I said, it was definitely better but wasn't really as good as I've had in the past. She then says, "I don't know what you're talking about because you never order pad thai there, and that it's the same one" and they didn't change a thing. I was pissed! You tell me that you're going to re-make my food without the fish sauce as I requested, and you go ahead and make it the same way?! Then she proceeds to tell me that she knows I get the yellow curry and that I don't know what I'm talking about. I couldn't believe she was arguing with me and telling me I don't know what I order. Long story short, the food has become mediocre at best. The service is awful, which is why the place is always empty, and I will never be going there again. This is a great place to dine in or get take out. The food is always great. My favorites are the Thai bbq chicken and the chicken yellow curry. I have eaten from here dozens of times but I have only dined in 3 times. Everytime the sevice, staff and food have met my expectations. The dinning area was clean and the waitress refilled my water faster then I could drink it. A to go order takes 15 to 20 mins. This was my first order of Thai food EVER, and I couldn't be more impressed! Thai Peru and Fuji Sushi are right next door to one another, and both have absolutely delicious food. I ordered thru EAT24, and this place is ALWAYS early or on time, never forgets anything, and they have the nicest delivery man. The Yellow Curry was out-of-this-world delicious! So was the pad Thai.
