Hot date had the Pad Thai and I had the Thai Pot special. Hot date ordered his spice level at 4(if your tolerance is higher this would be a good place to start if you've never had Thai, as our waiter suggested) and I chose the 2(low spice level). Very tasty, good spice. Other reviewers are correct--- the scale of spice here is different than authentic Thai places. I didn't want spicy, and a three was perfect. My cousin wanted mild spice and a seven was a bit light for him, take that as you may. Would definitely come here again! read more

I just love love this place. It used to b on another block but they moved to this great larger location. I am half Thai. I grew up with Thai food. My mum is Thai so I find this place to be one of two authentic Thai restaurants in Denver so far.... Their soups , lad na , papaya salad r like really authentic. If your on a health kick and or on a diet then Thai food at this place is an amazing alternative.... Today am having the small tom yum soup and papaya salad.... Ideal for me on the south beach diet right now. Staff are very friendly and courteous... Today my server is Erin. She's Awsome. I've been here a few times and it is definitely a hit or a miss. The times it has been a hit, it is spot on! Their pad thai with shrimp is one of the best pad thai I've had in Denver. Highly recommend their lunch special it's definitely worth the price. I was originally confused about their spice levels because of how the menu words it as 0 to 4 as American and Thai Hot as 5 and up. The first time I came here I was very confused and asked for 10 which in my personal opinion is the equivalent of a jalepeno pepper. BUT I later found out that the maximum level of spiciness is 100!! As someone who actively searches for restaurants that "challenge" your spice level tolerance, I absolutely love getting their pad thai with 80 level of spice. It has definitely got quite a kick, but still edible and tasty without absolutely burning your mouth off! read more

I'm not sure how this place gets these 5 star ratings. I ordered potstickers and chicken stirfry w/ brown rice. I was told it would be 25 min. so I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. The guy who sat next to me 10 min later ordered water and dinner. My food was ready after he was done eating. I checked the order..... it looked right. When I got home 3 miles later ...... I dove into the potstickers. What is this? Luke warm dry potstickers----- were they baked ? I called back to ask...... were they baked? "no, deep fried" they taste like old McDonalds french fries. The stirfry and rice.......... sheeese! I ordered spice level 5. sure I could taste some chili pepper; but that was it ! flavorless. served in a soup container with a cup of chicken broth. What? I just moved back to Denver from NYC. Maybe that's the problem: I've had great Thai food ! Next time I will drive to Federal Blvd...... give one of those places a try. Great pad thai! Its so hard to find a place that will make it spicy enough for me and not spicy at all for my girlfriend. Their spice scale is unique and goes up to 40 but american spice levels are 1 to 5. The pad thai is moist and flavorfull, the beef tender. Ive ordered from here a few times now and have yet to be less than thrilled. The portion is large and yet i end up eating it all because the flavor is so good. Love this place! I love the Basil fried rice and pad se ewe. Always tastes great and best thai I've had I town. Seriously. My only complaint is that they continue to use styrofoam for take out. Wish they'd have a more sustainable outlook and pay whatever out took to be more green. read more

The vegetables in my green curry were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the crab rangoons that accompanied it were light and crispy -- completely unlike the greasy, salty bombs that some Chinese restaurants make. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is lovely in its simplicity. We will definitely be back soon. read more

I've never been disappointed here - the spice levels are appropriate for all starting with the standard mild-Thai hot in a number system, but the going beyond the "Thai hot" number all the way to 40. I love my curry spicy and I have friends and family that love it mild making Thai Pot a great spot for any group. They've even been kind enough to substitute noodles with cabbage in the Pad Thai for my friends when they were following a diet that demanded such modifications. read more

Just recently went in for the first time and ordered spring rolls, papaya salad, and yellow curry. The tastes of the dishes were decent, except for the spring rolls. Worst spring rolls I've ever had, not to mention it only comes in one. Never been to a restaurant where an order of spring rolls only comes with one, not two. Weird. And the portions of the dishes were SMALL. Will not be returning. Not to mention I asked the waiter if the Thai ice coffee was sweet and he said it was - barely. My wife and I frequent this restaurant often. Lately the service and the kitchen have been quite consistent. Tonight we had steamed pot stickers for an appetizer, pineapple curry and drunken noodles.
