Shui has been in the area for 30 years crafting the best thai cuisine I've had the pleasure of enjoying. From the Tom kha, pad si yu, green curry, chicken satay, and pad thai love it all!

The food was amazing and quick! Our waters stayed full throughout the night. The egg roles could definitely use a different sauce as this one didn't have much flavor to it. The noodles were thick and flavorful. The medium spice pumpkin curry was probably the best curry I've ever had. Though I am disappointed it was extra $$ for rice. I feel like curry and rice should ALWAYS go together -- like peanut butter and jelly, you don't pay extra for the jelly. Server brought our check while we were still eating and I felt rushed out. It did help that they give complimentary dark chocolates as you leave. $45 after 20% tip which I think is worth it.

I ordered pad see ew with chicken and there is a hair in it. Not only that but there's no seasoning or spice and the chicken is tasteless.

Hair in my food. Really hate to leave a bad review because the person I picked up my order from was so nice. But the pad see ew has no flavor except for the hair. Gross.

Both outdoor and indoor seating available, however they those outdoor umbrellas were dusty, they don't seem to clean it at all, you can see dust hanging underneath, so either eat fast or don't bother eating outdoor. We had Green curry and drunken noodle, both were ok. Curry taste little better but you will have to order rice on the side. Do not order thai tea here , they put coconut milk in it and it taste horrible.

First timer to Thai Pot, was just craving Thai food. I called about 45min to closing time (8:15ish) and got great phone service, quickly ordered a Pad Thai (vegetarian, medium spicy) and a Som Tum Salad (medium spicy). I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, awesome. I drove over and by the time I got there it was already ready. The restaurant was pretty empty (this was a Thursday at 8:30pm, a little surprising how empty it was, but great for getting an order quickly. Got home and quickly devoured the Som Tum Salad (papaya salad)- I always go for a papaya salad and like to compare. I honestly thought the flavor of this one was top notch, not far behind Khom Loi, the fancy Thai joint in town. The medium spicy was definitely American medium spicy and not Thai medium. I anticipated that, and asked for some chili sauce when I placed my order (this chili sauce is SO GOOD, let me tell you!) Ok, next was the Pad Thai; the noodles were cooked well, all the veggies were cooked perfectly al dente. I liked the range of veggies. I did think it was a little lacking in lime, fish sauce, and chili, so I doctored it to my own preference. If I order the Pad Thai again, I will probably add a protein (it comes with some tofu but not much, and they offer a bunch of protein options for only $1 more) and order it spicier. I didn't even finish all my food, so yay for leftovers tomorrow! Thai is always good leftover.

Great little spot. Figured I'd give them a try even though there were mixed reviews. When I entered it was about 245 so lunch specials just ended. So I opted for be a soup, salad, and noodle dish. Opting for pineapple fried rice with pork to go. I noted despite a decently sized mom and pop outfit sized to fit a good number of patrons there was only 1 other couple eating here. I overheard them saying to the waitress "... It's no bother as I like it, but just so you know you forgot to add tofu. Still good though" First thought was the prices we're standard to a little high. However upon receipt the portions were quite large mean meaning each dish shared could easily feed 2 to 3 people in if ordering multiple. Ordered all medium heat. The soup was good only noting maybe a little more lime would be nice to balance. The beef salad was excellent. I got a few pieces without spice and the dressing was delicate and sweet. While medium sounds was good if it out of it next time Drunken noodles were just that. Smelled intoxicated. Decently liked them. Though the spice was a creeper. So watch out. It builds. Delicious but also noted the spice overpowers the delicate flavor so if opt to go lower. Then again people complained about it maybe being a bit bland otherwise. All in all a good experience. I will definitely come back again. Oh and they offer boba!

Pork Pad Thai. So so dry.
    Anthony R.

Ordered via doordash and my Pad Thai was DRY as all hell. And it was so bland. The only good thing was my egg rolls, and they were stingy on the sauce, only filling up the plastic sauce container 1/3 of the way. Not nearly enough for 4 egg rolls. Pad thai tasted like they made in this morning and let it sit around all day waiting for to go orders. It was so dry, it reminded me of leftover spaghetti that is stored in the fridge for days with the sauce already on it. I really hope this old food doesn't make me sick. The food here used to be really good. I guess the virus lockdowns caused them to lose motivation to .ake their food fresh. Very sad. We need to end these damn lockdowms before every small business in the country shuts their doors for good.

I started with the Thai iced tea with coconut cream and cardamom. I loved that it wasn't overly sweet or super milky like some Thai teas can be. The cardamom came through nicely, and the coconut flavor worked really well with it. We started with the vegetable dumplings, which were not what I expected but in the best way. They were almost like a deconstructed dumpling with noodle sheets and spring onions that you wrapped in lettuce leaves. The chili oil was really rich and added a lot of flavor to each bite. We also shared the pad Thai. It also came deconstructed with fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, and other seasonings on the side so you could mix everything to your liking. It was a fun presentation but I wasn't quite sure how much of each ingredient to add. Overall, I enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere.

We ordered 3/4 of the menu items and were super impressed with every item from presentation to layered flavors. Sometimes Thai restaurants are a bit boring and westernized but the flavor here were bold and nicely nuanced. For those sensitive to spice, they also offer to make some dishes half spice. The most impressive dish was the rock fish - it is a full size fish with herb and lime garnishes; the fish was fresh and delicious. My favorite dish was actually the tofu salad - the tofu is actually silken soft on the inside as promised - and surrounded by lots of fresh herbs and citrus. The drunken noodles also stood out as non-typical with excellent wok heat to give it a deep umami flavor. Service was casual and non-intrusive but also very friendly and attentive. I appreciated the proactive extra napkins for our dish and was impressed by how they handled a huge pain in the butt customer sitting next to us who literally complained about every single dish. They patiently took her complaints and offered her alternatives while I admittedly wondered why the customer even bothered to eat a Thai restaurant at all, I felt bad for the staff but they handled it so professionally. There is plenty of dedicated parking in their shared lot. This is definitely a favorite restaurant I will return to next time I'm in town.

This is easily the best Thai food in Petaluma! I had the Pad Krapow with ground pork and ordered it extra spicy. The menu states the spice levels are Thai spice levels, but I disagree. The extra spicy is about a medium level spice for a Thai person and most people can easily handle it! The Krapow was delicious - one of the best I've had in a long time! The pork was tender and juicy, and the sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet, savory, and herbaceous, though I would have personally preferred more basil, and of course more chopped red chilies! I didn't see it at the time, but you can also get a fried egg on top, which is absolutely essential for Krapow! I'll definitely try that next time! The service was also incredibly friendly!
