Excellent Thai restaurant worth driving to Sebastopol for! Upon entry, you see a beautiful pond in the courtyard with gorgeous lighting fixtures with seating curved into the outside space - really nice design. We ordered 3/4 of the menu items and were super impressed with every item from presentation to layered flavors. Sometimes Thai restaurants are a bit boring and westernized but the flavor here were bold and nicely nuanced. For those sensitive to spice, they also offer to make some dishes half spice. The most impressive dish was the rock fish - it is a full size fish with herb and lime garnishes; the fish was fresh and delicious. My favorite dish was actually the tofu salad - the tofu is actually silken soft on the inside as promised - and surrounded by lots of fresh herbs and citrus. The drunken noodles also stood out as non-typical with excellent wok heat to give it a deep umami flavor. Service was casual and non-intrusive but also very friendly and attentive. I appreciated the proactive extra napkins for our dish and was impressed by how they handled a huge pain in the butt customer sitting next to us who literally complained about every single dish. They patiently took her complaints and offered her alternatives while I admittedly wondered why the customer even bothered to eat a Thai restaurant at all, I felt bad for the staff but they handled it so professionally. There is plenty of dedicated parking in their shared lot. This is definitely a favorite restaurant I will return to next time I'm in town.

Wow, no wonder this place is a Michelin bib Gourmand. Absolutely killer Thai flavors and spice. We were visiting Santa Rosa area for Pliny the Younger release and noticed this place. We had to try. Loved their beef larb salad, green curry. The green curry was loaded with an assortment of vegetables and I had chicken add on. Servers were very nice but a bit slow on service. The flavors of all the dishes really reminded me of Thailand. Coming from San Francisco, I was surprised how good everything was.

Delicious thai green curry! The purple sweet potato adds a nice touch of creaminess and sweetness. We also ordered their papaya salad, which they were able to make vegetarian, and it was very tasty. Also got a plate of their pad thai, which I'd skip next time. The tamarind drink was nice and tart, reminiscent of the thai tamarind hard candies. The vegan thai tea tasted really bitter and off, so I'd also skip that. They had a pandan soft serve made with Strauss milk and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Beautiful ambiance but there's limited seating and parking.

My friend brought me to Khom Loi today for lunch. The first thing to notice is the pleasant environment. It's open, light, bright and has a lot of plants. The lighting is beautiful too. Our server was named Elliot. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about menu. He made recommendations. He took our photo. Overall, excellent service. The food and drinks were delicious. The basil mint drink was refreshing and delicious. We had the prawn appetizer. The sauce was so flavorful and scrumptious. We both ordered Pad Thai. They were huge portions (we could have split one entree). Delicious. I highly recommend Khom Loi. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!

expected more out of a bib gourmand but then again i am in sonoma eating asian food. thai iced tea was weak. salmon panang curry tastes exactly as you'd expect. salmon is seared separately and melds well with the curry when you flake it, little cubes of orange in the curry give it a nice pop of sweetness. because the salmon was cooked separately and plopped in i'm not impressed. pad kee mao was veggie heavy, they served extra sliced thai chilis on the side since they knew we wanted it spicy. nice gesture however pad kee mao itself was bland, could have used a lot more sauce while stir frying. space is pretty cool though

Friendly staff and great foods. We enjoyed our Valentine's dinner. The foods taste like we are in Thailand . We would like to go back. Unfortunately we don't live close by.

Wanted to try Khom Loi on my last visit to Sebastopol but time ran out. So made sure I hit it up on my trip this time. I first heard about it from a local at the Region in the Barlow. I Yelped it and wow... lots of buzz about this restaurant! Decided on happy hour for several reasons. According to Yelp...Kohm Loi gets busy fast at dinner time. And the parking lot is small, making it difficult if you are driving. (Found out later could have parked on close-by Florence Street and walked.) Plus, HH is a great way to try a new restaurant! It is a beautifully designed restaurant. Definitely a tropical, elegant, and open-air feel. You instantly relax when you enter the building. High ceilings and green plants provide a lush ambiance, and the stylish bamboo lighting is stunning. The bar is nice too because some of the bar seating provides a view into this main dining area. Along with a small curved bar, there are several tables and chairs. Well laid out area. Intimate. Service throughout visit was wonderful! Low-key employees who were all knowledgeable about the wine and food. Never rushing but also keeping tabs as an appetizer or glass of wine (really good wine choices) were finished. . They are definitely pros! So HH was fabulous! I have photos! For another time! Hit up Khom Loi again. Dinner. Photos! Food is beyond any Thai food ever. An explosion of flavors in your mouth with every single bite. Nothing like it. The presentation of each dish is like your own personal piece of art work. You will be utterly delighted with this amazing restaurant. Run to this classy restaurant. Do not walk!

As of today this place is officially my favorite place in Sebastopol. The ambiance is super nice and cute. The menu filled with must tries. I can't wait to come back and taste everything else. The food was so delicious my tongue was drunk on the flavor. Bite, after bite, after bite, we could not believe the flavor profiles. Each dish was a flavor explosion. Did I mention the flavor? Please stop reading this review and go here ASAP. You will not regret it. Also, please use this opportunity to zoom in on the Sundae it was freaking amazing. I can't say it enough this place is #TDF oh and the service was great. Even though they were busy and had only one server the staff was excellent and I did not feel like I had to wait long.

Khom Loi has been on list to try for awhile now. I ordered the green curry with chicken and a side of jasmine rice to go. Delicious! It came to $30 before tip, so it was a bit pricier than I expected, but it was full of fresh and unique veggies, so I get it and I'll definitely order it again. The green curry was different from most I've had elsewhere - it had purple sweet potato in it, which was awesome! Photos in the to-go container didn't do it justice. But I highly recommend it. Here's the full description from the menu: KAENG KHEI Y WHWAN / GREEN CURRY WITH SWEET POTATO & TOFU...$22 or W/ CHICKEN...$27 -house green curry paste / purple sweet potato / tofu / spinach / cherry tomato / brassicas / thai basil YUM!!! I want some more right now! The space is super cool as well. The main dining room is open air but covered with these incredible large lanterns hanging down from the second floor atrium ceiling. The bar area is enclosed. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu items!

Absolutely amazing lunch we had here!! I wasn't even aware this place even existed until my niece brought me here. The dumplings were out standing and something as simple as cooked cabbage was a treat!!

I almost ordered the salmon crudo twice!!! It was so good I didn't want the flavors to end. The fried chicken lettuce wraps on happy hour are divine. Wren behind the bar was great. This place slaps.

Very nice spot for a date or group dinner. Aesthetic decor with nice plants and warm lighting. When we came here for dinner, there was a bachelorette group here for dinner which was cute. We came on a Saturday night and it was a full house up until around 7:30. We made a reservation for 7pm but happened to be in the area earlier so came around 6:45. Service was a little slow but when our food finally came, everything was pretty tasty. We got the pad Thai, si krong moo yang (charcoal grilled pork ribs), and khao soi gai (yellow curry noodle with chicken). Everything was flavorful, ribs were fall off the bone tender, pad Thai included tofu, prawn, chicken and egg. Dishes are a little on the pricier end, and wish the portion size for the ribs was a bit bigger, but everything was tasty and the place really is a vibe. They have a cute little pond amongst the seating area too.

I was doubting Asian food in Sebastapol but had to try Khom Loi after walking down Florence Ave and seeing the huge floor-to-ceiling rolling doors that opened to a GORGEOUS interior patio area. Khom Loo is my FAVORITE Thai restaurant HANDS-DOWN!!! As a Chinese/Cambodian-American, Southeast Asian food is my favorite cuisine and Khom Loi took my favorite comfort meals to a whole other level. My family cooks some delicious Gu Chai (Chive Dumplings) but these were SO crispy with fancy chili crisps from local business Big Spoon Sauce Co. (I literally just tried and bought their chili crisps that morning at the farmers market) The vermicelli fish balls were SO refreshing on a hot summer day, but their nam jim jaew sauce was not very dank or as flavorful as I would want it to be. Fish sauce fried chicken was SO DELICIOUSLY JUICY, CRISP, FUNKY, AND SAUCY! I heard it gets incredibly packed at dinner time and it's hard to get a reservation. But at noon on a Sunday when they just opened, it was really empty and the waitress told us to sit anywhere. Incredibly kind staff constantly checked in on us. Definitely 100% deserves to be on the Michellin Guide. Honestly life-changing food for the priI'm pretty devastated that I would have to drive all the way back to Sebastapol to eat this food again.

How is this business addressing anti-Asian sentiment and the violent attacks against the Asian American community?

Perhaps they are merely a restaurant to whom you've assigned a task they have no power over? I certainly don't expect bean burritos to achieve world peace. Maybe make it all worthwhile...

It's inviting vs the stuffy atmosphere some places have. BABAGANOUSH PITA we got it for the kiddo expecting it to be run of the mill stuff you get. But the babaganoush had the extreme rich flavors of smoked eggplant and felt like almost half an eggplant went in there. Not diluted with tahini, garlic, just pure flavors of eggplant with tanginess of sumac. LITTLE GEM SALAD WITH RAINBOW TROUT was hearty, leafy and very refreshing. The pickled celery was the surprise. HAMACHI CRUDO - beautifully assembled with thoughtfulness, light, refreshing. A bunch of flavor bombs in there so each bite is an adventure. Basil making it refreshing, earthy crunch from hazelnut, sharpness from green onion, sweet tart kiwis. I think a bit of citrus would make this a superstar. Mandolin shaved limes perhaps? GRILLED MAITAKE MUSHROOMS - ok I think this was the chefs most technically impressive dish, with an exercise in playing with bitter profiles and turning it into a master piece. Grilled maitake gets the char from the grill is the first flavor layer, it's woken up by the wild thyme from the zatar. Next the Japanese turnips bring the second dimension with earthy beautiful bitter notes on a bed of a creamy tahini based sauce. It's finished with fresh parsley to bring a fresh element to it. Great stuff. Could raddichio be added to make this more challenging? I saw those crunchy POTATOES and I got them even after eating the meal lol. Do yourself a favor and just get them - they're hot, crunchy and perfect to pair with the vegetables. Finally we got their chocolate mousse with bruleéd bananas sorry couldn't take a picture before it was all gone. Great way to wrap. The staff were all super friendly and helped with picking things from the menu! I got the mystery glass of wine and they had made a fun game out of it. The Beaujolais was great too. Overall when you're surrounded by these amazing farms, vineyards and ocean - no better way than to bring them together - kudos to the creators of the Redwood for making this place with intentionality. I wanted to get the squash, duck pâté, spring pea salad, tinned fish items as well, I guess for next time!

Although the flavor profile on the salmon with citrus and saffron was not to my taste it was expertly prepared. All that said we received some of the most neglectful service I have ever had from a very nice server, who for no obvious reason left us alone for most of the meal. It got busier as our time stretched on, but it wasn't slammed and there was plenty of staff. We ordered plenty of food including two bottles of wine. We had to completely finish all of our appetizers before being asked about mains and we sat with empty glasses for ~20 minutes (possibly more) before we flagged someone down to get the second bottle; a bottle we left half drunk because it stretched our evening so long. I might give this place another try but honestly it was one of the most drawn out anticlimactic $400+ birthday celebrations (without desert) I have ever had. We could have done better at home for less.

This business does not care about it's customers and is so impossible to reach it's almost comical…read more I was a long-term customer of Fog Crest. In 2024 we received a shipment of wine where all the wine in the shipment was broken. In typical situations, wineries offer replacement of broken bottles, but Fog Crest was impossible to reach in spite of (literally) 50 phone calls and emails. Since I couldn't reach them, I canceled my subscription to their wine club. Flash forward a few months, they charge me another ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but never ship me any wine (in spite of the fact that I had already canceled online). Again, dozens of calls and emails, no answer and no response. Still trying. A few months after that, they charge me ANOTHER ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but don't ship that wine to me either. After probably 100 calls and emails, I finally talk to the wine club coordinator on the phone. She of course acknowledges my dozens of messages, and acknowledges my situation. She says she will replace the wine that was broken and figure out why they've been charging me for wine I haven't been receiving and make it right. But that she can't talk right now and she'd call me back with more information. That was a month ago. I've now called again dozens of times, and emailed. No response. Called and emailed the owner, no response. This is borderline criminal: $1,500 in charges for undelivered product, a non-existent customer service experience, and an online system so archaic that it doesn't process your cancelation and continues to charge you for product.

Zero Accountability and Terrible Customer Service - Avoid Fog Crest!…read more I'm absolutely appalled by my experience with Fog Crest Winery. We joined their wine club in 2023 and was charged $420 all of 2024/25 for wine that they NEVER shipped. When I called to inquire about where the wine was, I was met with complete silence--multiple calls and messages went unanswered. After finally getting a call back, the person said they only called me back because "she saw we had called a lot in one day." That was the first red flag. She promised to credit my account and look into another charge that had been applied. It's been SEVEN days since that conversation, and STILL no credit, no updates, and no resolution. I've followed up with multiple calls, messages, and emails... NOTHING. At this point, it's clear that they don't care about their customers. I highly recommend staying far away from Fog Crest if you value your time and money. Total waste of both
