Coconut soup

Thai Recipe Bistro is a modern restaurant with some of the best Thai food I've ever tasted. The service is outstanding. We came here for lunch with our daughter and granddaughter. They provided a high chair for our granddaughter and offered to pick up some things she'd dropped. The lunch menu provides a very good and varied selection of dishes priced by the protein you select. I had the drunken noodle medium spice. It was great! Just the right amount of noodles, veggies and chicken. My wife had the ginger on the lunch menu with chicken. She said this is among the two or three best Thai restaurants she's tried (and we like Thai food). Our daughter comes here often. She and her husband really like Thai Recipe Bistro. I look forward to returning to Thai Recipe Bistro

Do you want some absolutely massive portions with ridiculously reasonable prices? Do you want quick service? Do you want a nice place to gather while you catch up with friends? Then go here for one of the best Thai spots in the valley. You don't even have to look at the clock to wait for your order to arrive. I was taken aback by the size of my orders. I had enough food to eat there and take home. The Tom Kha is so rich, warm, and served in a special way. The Pad Thai is offered in different spice levels! Love that.

The food was delicious and portions were excellent! Love a good restaurant where you don't leave hungry! The interiors are cute and the service is excellent! A gem in the middle of no where in the outskirts of phoenix! If you're in the area make sure to try them out. Want to try their khao soi next! Love the cute robot servers!

Wow!! I'm so glad I stopped by, this place is incredible of Thai food. I ordered pad see ew, the Kao soi and a Thai milk tea. Everything was 10/10! Authentic with large servings. Service was top notch. Bathrooms were clean. Parking was a little tight but we still found a spot. Will definitely come back.

Great food! Our first time in Phoenix and we lucked out choosing this restaurant right out of airport. The portion sizes are generous. We ordered drunken noodles with chicken, pineapple fried rice, salt and pepper wings and a lunch special of yellow curry with tofu Everything tasted good

Why am I just finding this place?? We had pad see eew and kao soi chicken. First of all the portions are huge and haven't compromised on taste. The staff is prompt, friendly and patient. The place is nicely decorated and clean. The orange chicken was insanely huge . The guy next to us ordered it and barely ate it. He didn't pack the leftover but said it was delicious? Hmm okay. I'm definitely coming back to try other items.

We were in Phoenix on a business trip and went to another Thai restaurant, but without a reservation the wait was one hour and 20 minutes so we decided to try this restaurant. I'm so glad we did! The food was AMAZING. The menu was extensive. The food was fresh and the portions were large. We had plenty of leftovers. The restaurant had a steady stream of customers it was nicely decorated. The waitress was very friendly and funny. Once the food was ready, the server walks alongside a robot with a happy cat face that is carrying all the dishes and the server will take the dishes and put it on your table. I got the Kao Soi special (mild) and it was tasty. Lots of chicken, lots of flavor. Would go back if I ever visit Phoenix again.

FOOD WAS AMAZING and perfect amount to share family size with some friends or family. The drinks were also delicious like the thai milk tea. Definitely recommend this place. Service was great, loved our server! There's a bunch of booths to sit comfortably as well.

The food here was super delicious. All of our dishes were cooked well and tasted exactly as you'd hope from good Thai cuisine. It can get pretty busy at any time of the evening so be prepared for a wait and for them to take some time to check back around with you. However, the tom yum wings were a pleasant surprise. I'd recommend trying those out if you're a fan of tom yum. The fried tofu was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We really enjoyed the crab fried rice. It had a good amount of crab mixed in and didn't feel skimpy at all. The tom kha soup was flavorful, filling and would recommend going back for. If you're looking for a good eggplant dish, definitely try theirs. We finished with dessert and tried their sticky rice with coconut ice cream. If you love sticky rice, please make room for this. It's a great spot to come hang out at and eat great food.

Fried Bananas are so good with coconut ice cream omg. Their pineapple fried rice (I added chicken upcharge$) was so yummy!! Toss was our server and he was just the best. And vibes are so good. The energy was calm and the decor was neat. Would love to come here again

This place has always been my go to for takeout Thai food. I usually order the Rama tofu mild/medium. It has great flavor and enough for at least two meals. Staff is always friendly and helpful during pickup. Would recommend!

Drunken noodles..mangled..not hot as I ordered...

First time here. Clean and spacious. A few of the booths have seen better years as visual wear shows on the seating area. Service is quick and friendly. Menu has it all with nice pictures. I had the drunken noodles. If Monday has a different Chef compared to other days based on other pictures in reviews, today's Chef butchered the fresh wide noodles used in this dish. Also a bit oily than it should be also had to many green bell peppers. For a dish ordered with a protein it was more of a vegetable dish. Flavor wise it was good. Heat came out less hot than what I ordered. I will be back and try a few other items on a different day and see if there is a difference between the prep and final dish. Worth checking out...

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Service is always great and the robot kitty expediter makes my son's day. Portions are huge and food is always amazing. Noodle dishes here are my fave.

Service is fast and food has been okay. Somethings are better flavored than others. A good quick option in the area though.

5 star dinner restaurant in Central Phoenix. Asian noodle focus with bao buns. Drinks, service,…read moreand entrees were all top notch. Able to get a reservation for Thursday night at 6.30. Most of the lower set tables were taken so the rez came in handy. Ample bar seating available however. Greeted right away by server and offered drink menus. Both the drinks were phenomenal. I originally wanted the Asahi but they were out of it so they gave me a Japanese Lager from Los Angeles (?), blanking on the name. The Caipirinia was the other drink which was made authentically as well. No complaints on the bartender. Food was 3 Bao Buns and a Chow Mein entree with grilled chicken added on top. This was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. The Bao Buns were extremely soft and light on the breading. If you get them from Din Tai Fung they tend to be dough heavy. These were NOT like that. Chicken and Eggplant buns were tasty and had a light kick to them. Noodles were probably the weakest items, I prefer the rice/flat noodles, but these were normal chow mein noodles. But I had to split the dish with my dining companion who enjoyed the noodles quite a bit. I'd go with Udon or Flat Noodles next time and ask them to add chili flakes. No room for dessert but it sounded delicious, something with bananas. Mhmmm!

There were still about 4 groups still in the restaurant, but was mainly open. I could see this place getting busy during the weekends though, so recommend a res if you're here during peak hours. We started with cold sake and a couple of cocktails. Super cute and yummy drinks, creative and complimented the overall theme. The Asahi beer was huge and came with an ice cold glass, perfect! We got the orange chicken and drunken noodles with added chicken breast. The food was fresh and tasty. I liked that the orange chicken came with rice, and was not overly breaded. The drunken noodles were pretty salty but overall good. These two entrees were enough for two people to take a little bit of leftovers home. Recommend for a nice date night or if looking for some Asian fusion. We'll be back!

Stand out items to order: the corn appetizer, the yellowtail carpaccio, or the salmon carpaccio, and sashimi on the menu. We have tried almost every appetizer and all of them are good. This place is truly not known well enough for the quality of the food. Finally, the servers are amazing, and there is plenty of parking. We were nearby for a show, and decided to stop in on a Wednesday evening for a late dinner with some friends. They have a good happy hour menu, and my friends ordered off there, but I was craving sushi so I got the nigiri omakase. It came with miso soup, which I enjoyed, definitely hard to go wrong there. The sushi itself was decent, nothing crazy, but definitely better than grocery store quality. The tuna and salmon pieces were a little fishy, maybe not the freshest, but it was also quite late (~10pm) so I wasn't expecting too much. Beautifully presented, and the cuts were quite large which was nice! The food came out pretty fast, and the service was pleasant. The restaurant vibes are pretty dark, and moody. The bathroom was kind of scary personally, super dark and a little messy, so I decided to wait till I got home. Overall, a solid experience, and definitely a good choice if I am in the area.
