When it comes down to it, I trust this under-the-radar restaurant to deliver fresh and delicious food relatively quickly -at a competitive price. For lunch, I opted for the Panang curry with steamed veggies, and a side of pad Thai. My wife ordered a chicken salad with peanut dressing. Ordering is a little awkward. This place is set up for takeout, although there are a few tables spread throughout if you decide to eat there. Truth be told, the dining room is sad. You will see a few tables, and a few pictures on the wall. There is no music playing , and there is no staff -other than the owners and their son (Siam). I get it! Reducing overhead in today's economic environment makes a lot of sense. Restaurants are running lean and mean these days. For now, my rating stands at 4 stars. I enjoyed my lunch and visit with Siam. I'll need to try more menu items to determine if I need to bump my rating up to 5 stars. Next time, I'm going to trust the owner to cook something for me that will change my life. I want a dish so tasty that I will forget all the other Thai places that I have previously tried. My main recommendation would be to spruce up the dining room to make it more inviting to dine in. I would also suggest to redesign the menu to include pictures , or get one of those monitors that runs a slide show of all of the wonderful dishes to choose from. I will be back with intent on trying 4 or 5 new dishes to get a better grasp of the full menu.

Pad see ewe with chicken

Thai season is tucked in the back corner of a shopping center. It has decent signage tho. Walking in it very clean, seating area is small. Which makes sense all the order are in styrofoam togo boxes. The guy inside was greeted us, we order at the counter and they brought us our order. We decided to eat there. Chicken satay was good on the drier side but I liked it, peanut sauce was tasty came with a sweet cucumber salad which was delicious as well. Chicken wings were delicious, made fresh so took a big longer than the rest of our order. Shrimp pad Thai was great. The pad see ew was just ok, I'm not sure if I'd order it again. Not as sweet or saucy as I've had in the past. They have a big menu and will definitely be back to try other items.

Delish! Great mom and pop Thai place with lots of standard Thai dishes - all dishes we ordered were tasty. It seems like this is pretty much a take out spot but we ate there - order at the counter and the very nice owner brings it out to you in take out containers, along with styrofoam plates, utensils and napkins. The owner was very nice and offered to make sure certain dishes were vegetarian (omitting ingredients like fish sauce), prices reasonable and portions hearty. Mango sticky rice was so yummy too! **chef's kiss**

Pad Thai with Chicken Stir Fry Combo

Thai Season is a family owned restaurant with authentic Thai food. They had plenty of options to choose from, as well as combos where you get two halves of different entrees. I opted for a combo with pad Thai and chicken stir fry, which also came with an egg roll. The total came out to around $16. Everything was super fresh and made to order. Although you can't dine-in, there's plenty of seats to use while waiting for your to-go order. Will definitely be back to support this local business!

The food was delicious and the portions are huge! This was a half plate pad thai chicken with fried rice and was soooooo flavorful and yummy. Will definitely be back!

Combination plate with garlic chicken and pad Thai

We came here on a weekday evening and were surprised that although there were about 3 tables with the chairs down, the food was take-out only and we couldn't sit down in the restaurant. The place definitely has a takeout, fast eats kind of vibe but it's still a nice place to get Thai food. The food is reasonably priced though and the turnaround was pretty fast, around 10 minutes. I ordered the combination plate with pad Thai and garlic chicken. This is very carb heavy since it comes with a side of rice too. The egg roll was more of a Chinese-style egg roll with its seasoning very simple and not fragrant like southeast Asian egg rolls. Then there's the garlic chicken - it was good and tender, and had some veggies like onions and peppers. The pad Thai was a bit underwhelming since it didn't have much in it and could have used more sauce. The papaya salad was very good but even though we asked for medium it tasted more like mild. The food here is solid though and I would come back again.

Pad See Ewe with Tofu

This place is kind of hidden towards the end of the plaza. Came here on a weekday evening for takeout and pleasantly surprised with the food. I got the Pad See Ewe with soft tofu. It was pretty light on the flavor but that's to my liking; the chili sauce complemented it really well. The portion was huge too - had a good 2-3 serving! It took about 15 min to get our food.

We ordered the pork egg rolls you get five, and they were really good , nice and crunchy just how I like them. We also tried the yellow chicken curry, which had really good flavor and was more on the soupy side. The chicken pad Thai had good flavor, and of course I had to try the basil rice, which I really liked. Overall, it was a good experience. I did have to ask for the green sauce, which was amazing and ask for chopsticks as I was given a fork and spoon The sticky rice was OK. I prefer mine to be a little bit more sticky so I can eat it with my hands instead of having to use utensils . But the portion was a very generous portion. I ordered pork pad see ew. And it wasn't until I brought it home. I realize that I was given beef instead of pork. The flavoring was OK not very sweet kind of bland but when you add the green sauce to it, it elevated the flavors and was amazing. I don't think that I would eat any of the dishes without the green sauce as the flavor profile is not very strong. Previously, I did order a pork pot Thai, but again the flavor profile was not that great until the green sauce was added I would go again, just due to convenience and the addiction to the green sauce lol

Chicken was flavorful & moist. Pork belly was crispy tho a tad dry. Sticky rice was nice good! Also ordered their spring rolls, noodles & mango w/sticky rice too. Spring rolls were soft & really fresh. My preference is combo shrimp pork together but they keep theirs separate, which is fine, just different style. Peanut sauce is really great! Sometimes it's too thick & peanut buttery or too thin & vinegary at other places. Theirs is perfect! Mango was a tad under ripe. Maybe not quite in season? but again, sticky rice on point. Noodles were plentiful & delicious! Thai iced tea was really nice! Really glad I got to try LA Kitchen. Will definitely be back again

It was super crispy without being hard, easy to bite into, and not overly fatty at all. Every sauce paired perfectly with the sticky rice, pork belly, and fried chicken. The chicken itself was incredibly moist and flavorful. I was secretly hoping for crispier skin, but honestly the flavor made up for it. Before leaving, I ordered the sausage with sticky rice plus both the shrimp and pork spring rolls to-go because I already knew I was going to want more later. The spring rolls were SO fresh and delicious. The shrimp wasn't overcooked, the pork was tender, and that peanut sauce absolutely tied everything together. The sausage was another standout, very flavorful, juicy, easy to chew, and perfect with the sticky rice. My only regret was forgetting to ask for chili oil before I left... thankfully I had some at home because it took everything to the next level. Big shoutout to Lana working the front counter, she was incredibly friendly and generous the entire time. I also got to meet La herself, and she was so warm and easy to talk to. They have a large seating area on the right side of the restaurant and condiments on every table. You can genuinely tell this place puts a lot of heart into the quality and flavors they serve. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.

Chief among them is their menu, which are all authentic and hard-to-find dishes you will not get at any local Thai restaurant. The Pad Thai and Pad Kra Pow (grounded meat with Thai basil) are easily the most popular dishes, but I have also had the chance to try other dishes like Khao Kha Mu (braised pork) and Khao Man Gai (boiled chicken with ginger garlic rice). The Khao Man Gai is essentially a Thai interpretation of the Chinese dish, Hainan Chicken Rice. None of the dishes have truly impressed me so far but I appreciate they have not been very oily and overly seasoned. The dishes are a healthier, cleaner-tasting version of some of the dishes you can expect at most local dine-in restaurants. I have also not tried any of the fried and skewed meat dishes here that are usually my "cup of tea" and have deeper flavor profiles. The plates are priced appropriately for a food truck, where you will get just enough for a quick and satisfying meal. Very friendly service. You will always be greeted with a warm smile and they will make helpful suggestions on what to try if you are being indecisive. The plates come within 5 to 8 minutes while made-to-order. On rainy or windy days, they will bring your order to your car as soon as it is prepared. You will find them at the corner of E. Shepard Avenue and N. I've had their pad thai and pad kra pow and they both are insanely flavorful and put respects on their roots. However, I want to talk about the dish that I've had once and its a MUST have everytime I visit. The dish I think about and crave almost every day. Moo Sam Chan Tod (999999/5): This deep fried pork belly dish checks all the boxes for me. Pork belly is one of my favorite things to go for from most Southeast Asian cuisines, and man this ones so crazy. The pork has the perfect crisp on the skin, but the meat itself is so juicy and packed with flavorful. Not a single piece was cooked even slightly off. You HAVE to get sticky rice over the steamed rice. I don't make the rules. It has a natural acidity and comes with their signature spicy sauce. Recipe for perfection. I be blacking out and suddenly im dipping the pork in the spicy sauce, the rice in the spicy sauce, straight up DRINKING the spicy sauce. I really am dedicating this review to this dish. I do not care. On a real note, try everything on the menu at least once. They put their heart into every dish and I cannot applaud them enough.
