Being Thai, I know authentic Thai food and Thai Season is definitely authentic! I always come here for Thai food when I go home. Small restaurant with few tables and mostly to-go orders, but service is very fast and friendly. It's nothing fancy and the appearance isn't anything amazing, but who cares if the food and service are good. Fair prices with adequate portions. Majority of dishes are under $10. My water glass is constantly filled to the top... I drink a lot of water, so this is important to me :) A big plus is that it's clean! Bathroom included. Food always comes out within 10-15 minutes no matter how busy it is and it's hot. No luke warm shit. The food is cooked well and not too oily, greasy, dry, etc. I would recommend the Chicken Pad Thai, Som Tum, Laab, Chicken Satay, and Massaman Curry. The Thai Iced Tea is also a must. Not too sweet and just the way I like it. If you're not too familiar with Thai food, they have a wall of pictures that include their most popular dishes. The staff was friendly and forthcoming with Thai cooking tips. We ordered egg rolls to start out with. I love the silvery noodles (bean thread noodles) and these had a healthy portion of them. The plum sauce was nice and light. We mixed some Thai chilis in the plum sauce for an extra kick. Mmmmmmm! My fiancée ordered the combo #5 (garlic chicken, Pad Thai, and steamed rice). She loved the garlic chicken! It was a lot of food so the Pad Thai went home with us. I ordered combo #4 (pad-pa-nang, veggies, and steamed rice). The curry was mild per my request. I always start out with mild the first time at any Thai restaurant. The curry was flavorful and the Thai chili kicked it up to just the right heat. The veggies were garlicky to begin with so the curry made them all the better. Recommend you bring an ice chest if you have errands to run after you eat. Ugh, this place is so Good!! Clean, friendly, and quick! What else do you want?! I don't remember the exact dish names but it was on the combination section. Each plate came up to $10.95 (I might be a few cents off) but the quantity and quality is worth the price! My boyfriend got the one that had Orange Chicken and I got the one that had Pad Thai and Garlic Chicken. I took almost half of it home and it still tasted good the next day. First time here and the owner is so kind. She's so welcoming my daughter got used to her right away. The food we ordered, chicken laab 3/5: it could be more flavorful. I feel like the full flavor for a laab isn't there. Papaya salads 4/5: this was bomb, you can taste all the ingredients a papaya is suppose to taste like, just not spicy enough. Drunken noodles 5/5: here in fresno, I've only had one tasty pad kee mow but they closed down, and this is definitely my next to go to for a drunken noodles. The only sad thing about it is that they don't have seafood combinations for this dish, because that's the best to have with this dish. Pork red Curry 4/5: i feel like it lack something. Usually the red curry i have would have a hint of sweetness and coconut to it but this one isn't as coconutty nor sweet. Lastly, we had the deep fried shrimp 5/5: it comes in 5 pieces but it has 2 shrimp deep fried in one piece which meant i got 10 shrimps. My daughter loved it! Server was okay could have been more inviting and provided some recommendations. It was my first visit. We ordered egg rolls, fried shrimp, wonton soup, yellow chicken curry, steam rice and chicken pad Thai. Food was overall good. It didn't wow me. Considering the plates for family they were small portioned. There was some traffic with to go orders. Have to say the best thing I enjoyed was the fried shrimp. If you're Southeast Asian, the Panang Curry tastes like Kapoon/Khao poon which is perfectly fine. Pad Thai was great as well. Surprisingly very good and LEGIT Thai food. Usually, a majority of "Thai" restaurants in this town are anything but actually Thai-owned. When I see reviews glowing about "Thai" food, I always have to roll my eyes and take them with a heavy grain of salt. I usually feel this way until I can actually read a review from a Thai person; it's just the way it is, and I can't escape being highfalutin when it comes to Thai food. This will probably be my new go-to Thai restaurant from now on (sorry Time for Thai). Thai Season's food is pleasantly very authentic. This is due in large part because it is actually THAI-OWNED, as I found out and suspected. Before any Yelper (especially a non-Thai one) goes out and starts proclaiming that they've discovered the 'most authentic Thai food' in town, please check yourself at the door by even asking or questioning whether said restaurant has anyone Thai that even works there. Hate to break it to you, but approximately 90% of "Thai" restaurants in this town are either Laos, Hmong, or Cambodian owned. I'm not saying the food is bad at those places, but they're surely not authentically Thai (for what I hope are obvious reasons). I would say that Thai Season is definitely a true representation of Thai cuisine. I've been here several times now and can tell they know what they're doing. The have all the trademark Thai flavors well-balanced: sour, sweet, spicy, salty, bitter, etc. Good Thai food always has this in the right proportions. But BAD Thai food usually has flavors that are completely unbalanced (ahem, Thai Fusion), either being too sweet, too salty, too sour, etc. Thai Season so far has not made this rookie faux-pas at all. The chef in the back clearly is Thai, and clearly knows what they are doing. As far as appearance, Thai Season does look 'hole in the wall' from the outside, but the place is clean, and kept up well, with only several tables. It's a quaintly-small interior. They're located next to the OSH on Shaw in Clovis. If you are a fan of Thai food, I suggest most definitely getting your ass out here to try it for yourself, ASAP. TS is definitely a potential 5-star in the future, and may be the "de facto" Thai restaurant in Fresno. We'll see. read more

I've ordered from here a few times, but I never actually sat down in the establishment to eat. It's pretty quiet most of the time and had good music playing; unfortunately the music was on a loop of the same song when I visited, so it got annoying after the 10th cycle and I actually paid attention to it; and after awhile, there was no music at all. The woman host was a little inconsiderate when I ordered. I had 3 things I was going to order. I got out the first item and she offered to show me the drinks I wanted when I asked for a soda. I got up to see and then she started heading to the back to put in my order. I was able to call her back, saying my order wasn't done. She seemed to be in a hurry for a place that only had one customer at the time. Overall, the food was still good, the hospitality- could use some work.
